Where to stay in Soltau

Expensive but lots of fun. Best avoided during holidays as it can be packed with long waiting times. I appreciate the high level of safety, always double checked before the thrill rides. Well done Heidepark staff!

We booked a pirate themed suite which was around 350€. The room was okay, but had no AC and no mini bar. Just how is this possible at this price point?? It was way over 30 degrees outside and the staff left the windows open all day so it was incredibly humid inside the suite. This is far from comfortable. Especially for children and babys. The park itself is great, breakfast and dinner were great...

Great park .. but with the high prices i expect everything to be open - there were several shops and food stands that was closed. But otherwise really great for kids - both small and larger.

The park is great. Hotel as well. We had a great time spending 3 days in the park. First day was school day so we could enjoy all without queues. Was awesome! Other days most attractions had 30-40 minutes queue. For the hotel... very nice rooms (we had pirate suite) which the kids loved. We were not sure about dinner buffet, but it was very good with average price 98 euro for family of 4. All included...

Clean and simple accommodation. Friendly staff that did their best to keep everyone safe despite the pandemic. Dinner and breakfast buffets included a good selection and was well stocked.

It was absolutely amazing. There were so many people but you didn't have to wait really long so it was more than fine. I could go everywhere at least one time and I only had 6 hours. The food is kinda expensive but it's alright. There is much for kids and much for older ones. It's hust perfect, I would come here again, as soon as I could. Definitely recommend!!!

Everything was perfect, from the friendly receptionist to the spotless rooms and the pleasant restaurant.

Hotel beside train station. Walking distance (have to make a small detour to the entrance). Staff is great but there are no convenience stalls nearby. Reception staff was lovely with free coffee/tra/chocolate there till 9pm.

We stayed for one night and from the very beginning to the end was a great experience. The receptionist was very friendly. Our room was perfectly clean and the bed was comfortable. We had two bathrooms which is a great idea even for two people. We were pleased by both dinner and breakfast options. The air around the hotel is fresh and the area is calm, great place to relax. Pool was completely empty...

I stayed for a week for the meeting. First of all, I would like to thank Frau Winkelmann, she was very attentive and friendly. She was the most caring employee at the reception, I thank her very much.

Stayed here to go to Heide Park nearby, and I highly recommend it. The rooms look newly renovated and are very nice. They are small, but are made to feel spacious. The large windows in the rooms are an added bonus. The included complimentary breakfast for us was a bonus, and the selection of breakfast food was endless. Check-in and check-out was fast and efficient, just the way it should be. No complaints...

We stayed in this hotel because of proximity to Heide adventure park. It was probably about 7 min drive which was very convenient. Hotel situated in the forest, green, with lots of activities to do. Room very clean. Breakfast and dinner had great buffet offers, one could choose to sit inside or outside. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Free parking, enough space to park. Rooms are a bit old fashioned but still lovely. WiFi strenght is strong enough to watch video's. The view from the room is not special or anything. Breakfast is good and various choices.

We stayed here one night on our roadtrip. Our room (503) was clean and in good shape and the staff really friendly. The highlight for me was the breakfast offering cereals, hard-boiled and scrambled eggs, yoghurt, breads/rolls, a variety of cheeses, spreads, sausages, jams, honeys, and even prosecco. If you need a place to stay the night or need a bite to eat, I recommend this place.

This is a hotel perfect for people going thru Germany, wether from south or north. Its restaurant is very good and its personell is the same. The breakfest is very good with all you need to start the day. It is a special experience to dine and spend the night there. We celebrated a 60th birthday there and the food was magnificent and delicious. Very good hotel with restaurant. Everything was very clean and the breakfast was very tasty. There was a play area in the house and a great playground outside - very family friendly. The team was very nice and accommodating throughout. There was also a public refrigerator where we could store supplies from our trip.

We were looking for an 'insider tip' and are very happy to have discovered this hotel for our stopover. For us, the family room with 2 and 5 year old children was just right. A great, high-quality playground outside, a games room inside right next to the restaurant and great food with organic ingredients. We'll definitely be back!

Fairly close to the Autobahn. Small but sufficient and tasty breakfast. The restaurant serves good food that suits a family. Ok rooms, we had problem with the air condition but it wasn’t that big of a deal. Electric car charging is possible for two cars, although it is priced the same as an expensive supercharger which is a bit too much.

I rate the food here. And the service. We haven't eaten so well for a long time. Big compliments to the kitchen. The service was first class anyway. It was a pleasure.

Perfect for a stopover, very tranquil place, free parking, fridge in room. There's nothing nearby as groceries or stores, so you'll need the car to get to anything. Fill up on gas before returning to the autobahn.

We stayed here in a family room (us and our five year old son). It's a very pleasant hotel, friendly staff and good-sized room. The steakhouse is lovely for dinner and breakfast here is amazing and plentiful! There is a great park nearby for kids, and it's so close to Heide Park theme park! Would 100% recommend this place!

The hotel has a good location close to the Soltau centre and the Heide Park theme park. Family Room was tidy and good size for us. Wir haben ein Hotel für unseren Aufenthalt im Heide Park gesucht. Bei der Preis/Leistung kann man nicht meckern. Das Hotel hat einen urigen Stil und man fühlt sich daheim wie bei Oma. Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich. Zimmer war sauber und Frühstück sehr lecker. Außerdem gibt es einen Parkplatz im Innenhof.

Feels very cozy and home-y, the woman who checked us in was very sweet and helpful and the rooms were great. A nice, relaxing setting with lovely buildings.

Very nice hosts in a wonderful thatched inn. Overnight stays and large celebrations can be realized here in the best possible way. We spent a very nice day here and had delicious meals.

This hotel offers good size rooms and nice, clean and comfortable beds. Very good and tasty breakfasts. Good location. Near by Heide park, Serengeti Safari, Designers Outlet and Panzermuseum. I recommend this place for overnights.

Great little hotel in the Heart of Soltau, Germany. Very clean with good amenities in a peaceful location. Owners very friendly and welcoming. Suitable for young families also. Would highly recommend this hotel. Would stay here again.

Lovely apartment. Brand new furnishings and cooker . Only downside were noisy people in flat above . For the money though doubt you could beat it

Nice place to stay. Plenty of room for kids to run & play. Owners do check your discarded trash every day and what you discard. Kind of makes you feel violated.

The hotel was very clean and we had a room at the back so the noise from the street was inaudible. Unfortunately, however, the rooms are very noisy and we could hear the snoring from the next room. Otherwise we were satisfied.

When you arrive you will be greeted and welcomed in a friendly manner. Everyone takes care of the guests and you also get the feeling that they like to do it. Delicious and extensive breakfast. The horses we had brought with us were also well looked after and, as requested, they were given a small pasture instead of a box. Great! Keep it up!

We were passing through and decided to stay at the Theeshof for 2 nights. That turned out to be a real stroke of luck. We were welcomed in a friendly and nice way, just like old friends. You rarely get as much attention as on this farm. We'll definitely be back.

A fridge with a selection of beverages for self-service was available to welcome you. Breakfast was adequate and the nearby steak house well worth a visit. My room on the ground floor, in permanent shade, looked a bit damp and cool, especially since the heating was not running continuously. Bed and bathroom were ok

One of the coziest hotela I’ve stayed in. Exeptionaly friendly staff. Very clean large rooms. We stayed in a room with a balcony with a view to the park. The park is nice for a stroll or to let tour kids plat. Be sure not to miss the breakfast! Although limmited, the food was top notch! Very reasonable price!

Except for the really unfriendly reception from the owner or the hotel room completely ok. Nice bathroom and everything clean. The mattresses are very saggy and you can tell the springs. The breakfast is plentiful and good. We didn't like parking at all, it is not enough. So the pension is recommended except for the friendliness, the mattresses and parking.

We stayed at the Pension for two nights. The location is quite nice being that it is near a wooded area and only steps away from the Therme and a steakhouse. It is also only a 7 minute drive to Heide Park. The rooms are decent. Nothing special but they are clean and have a mini bar and kettle. breakfast was pretty standard for Germany. The staff was friendly enough.

Heidehotel Anna is near to a supermarket and the city center. When staying there, I noticed, that it is really quiet in and outside the Hotel. I enjoyed this really much. The food (we had one breakfast there) was excellent and also the rooms. I recommend to take one of the rooms 1-7, because they are more comfy. All in all it is tidy, quiet and a good choice to stay there.

Nicely located in the middle between the center of Soltau and the autobahn, this quiet and well-maintained hotel is a relaxing and pleasant place to spend the night. Nothing super-fancy, but given the very reasonable prices it's excellent value. They have 2 chargers for electric cars available at the hotel, and use of these is free for hotel-guests.

Hotel Dea it is a place in my heart now after my experience there. "Dea" it is a pit stop, one step closer to home, if you were heading home but for complicated reasons you need a placemore than a night to rest and put yourself back on track.
