Great hotel! Rooms were spacious and nicely updated. Friendly staff, great breakfast. Location is amazing! Right in the center, 50m from the Cathedral. Free parking though spaces are limited and small.

The room had a door to the next one, where they started to move some furniture at 6:00. Other than that would recommend - just near the dome and the restaurant nearby is gorgeous.

Wonderful spot right in the middle of town, big rooms, comfy beds and great staff. Breakfast well worth the €9 price tag. Right near the Dome, and right beside a lovely little Christmas market. We loved this lication, staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

Very nice hotel. Everything is very clean. You get complementary welcome chocolates and water. They offer very tasty breakfast. It has best location you could get in Speyer. And hotel has very friendly staff.

Excellent Spa with great indoor and outdoor steam rooms, Saunas and pools. The hotel has very good food and has plenty of areas to relax, there is a nice lake within walking distance . The pretty town of Speyer is close by if you want some interesting historical buildings and there is a nice walk along the Rhine.

Great hotel & spa, with exceptional good qualified employees. We stayed at this hotel a few months ago. Good room with decent bathroom. Love the spa and sauna (no clothes area) to be used on the day of arrival till the day of departure. The restaurant serves excellent breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended

The majority of the time, unable to access the internet for business. If that had not been an issue, I would have given 5. The property is beautiful, hotel is very clean and the room was perfect. Great food, as well.

The hotel is very popular, there are always a lot of tourists. And this is due to the excellent service, a large number of services provided, including SPA, not to mention the friendliness and responsiveness of the staff.

The price was slightly higher than what I would have expected to pay for a room of this standing. However, the room was quiet, clean and with good A/C and provided a good night's sleep. A excellent hotel, always tidy with very helpful staff and service. Restaurant is good out there. When I looked at my room (201) it looked very magnificent and clean too. When you display the hangers outside for example when I hang a “tidy room” they always do it for me! How superb! When you have kids then they give you haribos. Very reliable and recommend

Have visited hotel Residenz twice with my family in the last two years and both times had an excellent experience. The management is very helpful and give you insightful tips of the surrounding area. Recently refurbished building turned into a hotel. It looks new and with a modern classic touch. Rooms are reasonably sized and well furnished. It’s one of the best options in town and conveniently located close to the train station. It gets 3 stars since it is sometimes like a maze to find your room, and breakfast is already prepared on the table, therefore can lead to lots of unnecessary waste

The hotel is right in the center and does not have its own parking garage. It would be nice if you also get this note with the booking confirmation. The closest parking lot is about 150m away, as long as it doesn't rain, okay. The room is of the usual size and furnishings. The man at the front desk was above average friendly.

Central hotel in the beautiful city of Speyer - we girls had spent a wonderful weekend there and the staff are really hard-working and just wonderful. Also the breakfast due to the corona restrictions left nothing to be desired!

This hotel really exceeded my expectations. I felt really welcome, and everything was just perfect. The breakfast is superb, and the rooms are really comfortable and clean. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and delicious food. The pasta and pizza can be requested gluten free (also lactose free & low histamine). They have the most flavorful gluten free dishes in this area. The waiters are friendly. We'd definitely come by again.

Located in a quiet residential area. The member of staff who checked us in was very friendly and efficient. The bedroom was large and comfortable. Good buffet style breakfast. There is free parking in the hotel car park or on the street. It took us about 15 minutes to walk into the centre of Speyer which has a good selection of places to eat.

Nice little and above all quiet hotel. The hosts were very nice. The breakfast left nothing to be desired for us. It is within walking distance to the Technik Museum and the old town.

Really nice for first time visitors

Good points: prime location for the Museum and Swimming pools, great breakfast, quite clean, friendly staff. Bad points: no air conditioning, no refrigerator in the room, not cheap. Really it would be only 3 and half stars.

Good hotel near city centre.

The place is ok for the price, however the sink in the bathroom was dirty and there was a "funny" smell in the room. Breakfast was ok if you don't take the fruit that is lying there since yesterday.

Location is great if you are visiting the Technikmuseum. Also, if you book the 2-days-package for the museums in Speyer and Sinsheim, you get a great price including one night at the hotel and entry tickets for both museums. If you want to visit the city only, there are certainly more comfortable alternatives.

Clean hotel. Great service. Rooms new and in top condition. The only let down was the price of the breakfast. Most other places charge half.

Be sure to bring your own shampoo, they only provide body wash in the shower. Breakfast is very good, nice selection of breads, meats, cheeses, fruits, and yogurt, as well as cereal. I had no problem at all with parking (just before Christmas), but my colleagues have said at times parking in the lot is impossible after dinner (during summer). It's a short walk to the center of town, maybe 4 or 5 blocks...

Hotel was as good as any other main stream hotel. Bed was very comfortable but had no coffee or tea making facilities which we could have used. Also 7 euros for parking is a bit steep. It is about 8-10 min walk to town centre which was nice what we saw and a little more to the Tech Museum. Would stay again, just need to remember to take a kettle.

My husband and I are currently staying at this hotel. This is a cozy place with very attentive and caring hosts. The hotel is very clean, everything you need for guests is in abundance. Komfort and luxury..

I loved the fact the room had a Tassimo coffee machine! It's a 10 minute walk to the town centre with lots of bars and restaurants. 25 minute walk to the Technik Museum.

We stayed one night here. The accomodation is around the corner from the church and there is a big parking behind it (paid parking between 08-18h). The room itself was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was okay with decent choice.
