Great Experience Peace full Environment Great Breakfast with Great Service Room quiet clean

Great place to stay in staufen. Accommodated my late check in and breakfast was great too. Shame I could not stay longer.

A hotel with view of the Staufen castle. Nice and spacious rooms. Though the breakfast is no as good as there other Hotel Lowen.

We stayed for a week and were very satisfied. The breakfast was rich, regional and fresh. Wishes were, if possible, immediately fulfilled. The manager of the house is a person full of warmth and friendliness. The room was comfortably furnished and clean. A halogen lamp in the bathroom was broken and was immediately replaced... Great! We'd love to come back...

Great staff. Rooms were comfortable with plenty of space to work, and the bathroom was entirely redone. This is a typical, traditional family-run German hotel. Dedicated parking was a blessing. A nice hotel famous for the Faust room in the heart of Staufen!

This review is for their restaurant only. Centered in the town's little square, we found ourselves so quaintly situated observing the locals and the several weddings. Delicious food that is at least Michelin recommended. I ordered the chanterelles with those bread balls which is a special dish in the summer the the Black Forest region. Very good food and I recommend it. I've had better, but it was still quite annoyance and our party of six had a great time. Excellent selection of German wines, and the staff was wonderful.

Whether the wonderful story that Faust died here is true or not: the Löwen is a fine and atmospheric hotel, where guests are treated to an excellent breakfast. Love this family owned gem of a hotel. Clean, exceptionally well run with lovely meals and all of the fine touches one expects when they travel. Truly a great hotel experience. Spotlessly clean with lots of,little extras and warm and friendly family who serve with great care and love to all guests.

Friendly staff and gracious inn keeper hostess. We did not have a reservation, they were very busy at the supper hour and the hostess owner settled us into a very cozy room. Delicious meals in family friendly environment. Cannot wait to return.

We loved this hotel and little town. We wish we had stayed just one night. We had a wonderful meal in the hotel right after we arrived. We drove here and was able to have a parking lot right in the back of the hotel. The space is limited so you need to reserve early and make sure. The pizza is incredible and we still order food here regularly. In contrast, the hotel is awful, run-down and absolutely out of date if clean. We spent a night here and felt like in time travel back to the 70s at high prices. Furniture is cheap and rooms are really hot in summer. The restaurant is excellent. The food tastes very good and the service is very friendly. They have a good selection of drinks too. The prices are reasonable but not too expensive. I can only recommend this restaurant. We were very satisfied.

Great place, beautiful and clean rooms, excellent cuisine. The best value of this house, however, is the team. From the boss through the chef to the service, they all live customer orientation in perfection.

Beautiful hotel, Amazing Staff in Reception the room was beautiful, "BUT" The air conditioning was bitterly cold, even the room we never managed to make it warm, understand that outside is hot but I don't want to freeze in my room. Apart from that, everything nice.

Fantastic hotel and a very nice town! We were on our way back home and decided to make an overnight stop there, however it turned into a wonderful experience, we'll define come back! Nice hotel, great food and particularly friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Situated next to a beautiful park and river, perfect for those who like a morning run or walk before breakfast. Also ideally situated for the thermal baths, which you can avoid queues for by buying your tickets at the hotel.

Very nice, large and modern rooms located directly at the spa gardens. It couldn't be better. Very good starting point for activities such as the Titisee, Freiburg etc.

I have to give five stars because our suite was beyond expectation for the price. Our quarters were renovated and very spacious with a TV in both rooms. Outfitted with a desk and practical furniture. Everything was great and very clean. The best feature of the bathroom was the lighted shaving mirror. The only thing I didn't see was a hairdryer, but maybe I missed it. Drinks are available from the downstairs...

Bathroom in need of renovation, but the room was very clean, towels were changed several times. Nice older staff according to the charm of the hotel. Furnishings from the 1960s and 1970s - if you have high expectations, this is not the place for you. We liked it

Small hotel near the thermal baths. Beautiful large rooms, daylight bathroom, large breakfast room. Sufficient breakfast with everything you need.

Nice hotel near the spa park on a quiet street. I personally love these vintage hotels where time has mostly stood still and the furnishings are very well preserved. Of course there were modernizations, such as a retrofitted elevator and newer furniture, but the mix makes the difference. Will be going back to relax soon.

Great place and German. People were extremely helpful. Johann was the best! On his way home he gave us a short tour of Freiburg.

Nice rooms and good breakfast. They have an underground parking which is quite narrow and difficult with big cars. If you have problems or the underground parking is full ask at the reception and they will help you. Nice view from the roof. No minibar in the rooms but there are drinks at the top floor in a fridge.

Very good Kitchen. Highly recommendet. Schnitzel was a bit dry, but with the ham and the cheeseboodles it was ok. The fishdish was juicy and the rice fit very good. The desert was very good 👍

This is a real paradise. Confortable, elegant and intimate both the Gasthaus and the Restaurant (with different original vegan choices). The countryside here is as far as the eyes can see.

Spacious room, good for a transit from or to Italy. Room a bit dated. Breakfast only from 8am.

Simple but effective. The beds are clean, the shower is clean and the water is warm quite quickly, the rooms are spacious enough, employees are friendly, very peaceful surroundings. After a long day travelling, it's a pleasure to stay overnight.

Seems like a family-owned business with very warm and welcoming staff. The breakfast was ok. WiFi signal seemed pretty weak at the guest house but it was OK at the main block. Overall, my stay was above average. Rooms vary in size, but mine was pretty small. I'd always be willing to go back.

Since we are in hotels a lot, I think I can judge what is on offer. From the outside, the impression is unspectacular at first, as is the entrance area and hallways. Directly in the hotel next to the reception there is a kebab shop INSIDE, you don't have to find it good, but it doesn't bother you and if you are hungry a pizza without a long way is certainly not wrong in the evening. I was very surprised...

Unfortunately we were only here for 3 days... The hotel and the rooms in top condition! The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Ms. and Mr. Götschin from an honest cordiality that one finds very rarely! I look forward to visiting there again! Many thanks to the Götschin family!!

We felt very comfortable and plan to come back soon. There is a lot of heart in the rooms and at breakfast and nothing is missing. We look forward to our next stay.

We would like to thank Annett and Achim for their hospitality. The breakfast is just great., as it is very varied. There is something for everyone. The room is very spacious. You just have to feel comfortable there. For me there is no other place to stay in Badenweiler, I always like Haus Götschin!

This is the second time we have been to Badenweiler and still in the same charming family hotel. Quiet atmosphere, comfortable clean rooms, amazingly friendly owners of the hotel and, finally, a variety of delicious breakfasts: a rich selection of all kinds of cottage cheese, sausages, cheeses and, finally, berries. The city of Badenweiler is very nice, located next to France, very attractive places...

Joachim and Annett were great hosts. The Haus Gotschin is extremely well managed and maintained. Guests feel more like family, and patrons have been returning for many years. Beautifully situated right by the Black Forest.

I have never seen so lovely decorated interior like Behringers Traube Hotel. They have the best homemade cakes. Beautiful view from the terrace and nice and very kind service. My favorite place to go to have coffee and delicious cakes.

The hotel is beautiful, clean, very friendly quite you can really relax there the fresh air quality is unbelievable. The stuff is very professional and nice I will recommend to all people young and old to go there and fill at home.

Seriously, this place can't be any better. Its located very close to the french border in a littlr mounteneaous area, where you can enjoy the nature, you can relax and just rest.
