On the day of making the reservation I requested a late check-in in writing and even called the front desk to confirm. On the day of arrival, I also called the front desk and was again told “no problem” and they would leave the key at the mailbox. Yet upon my arrival a couple of hours after the call, there was no key and I was forced to spend the night outside in the freezing cold car. Terrible service! No apology from management whatsoever, no friendly gesture at all. To be avoided!

I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Even before you get to the restaurant, the beauty of the building will take your breath away. A large house of beautiful cobblestones with wooden logs holding up the roof and walls. Stunning. The service is lovely, proactive and knows what you want before you know it. And the food... is to die for. An absolute must-to-visit if you are in the area.

Excellent place. Rooms we're very nicely furbished, clean and comfortable. The TV was a bit old, so a bit difficult to operate. High qualitiy food, with enough to chose from, even if it was a bit expensive. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location excellent for an evening walk. Would recommend if you want to stay in the area.

Very nice hotel with lots of parking places, I could park my motorcycle in a garage. The hotel has a very nice terras, not too big but good and clean rooms, a bit hot in summer times (no airco). Hotel seems well maintained. Staff was kind and food and drinks good. Hotel is just in between Vicht and Zweifall. We did an evening walk to Zweifall and back, very nice 1 hour walk. I want to come back here

Food good (little expensive), room is good, bed is comfy, location is good, service could be better (it's a little slow sometimes), breakfast is good. Paid 354 euros for 4 nights, not too bad.
