It is a decent 3-star hotel located in the center of the town. The rooms are spacious and nice, but they are a bit worn down at the same time. The bed is large and comfortable. Breakfast is a bit basic, but they can make you an omelet on the spot, which is excellent, and good coffee as well. It maybe a bit pricey but for its 3 stars is pretty good without being pretentious.

Hotel Hoeltje is well-run hotel in a quiet street the centre of town. The owner takes great pride in providing a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. We had a very spacious top floor room with a little balcony. The staff at the reception is very welcoming, knowledgeable and always keen to help. For breakfast the hotel offers a variety of cooked to order dishes, a choice of cold meats, cheeses, fruits...

We used to stay here and always good service. Remember the lovely bar with a girl called ute Bernstein. If i go to verden again, this is the place(many years ago i was here but it looks as good)

Nice hotel, great breakfast. Large room, but bathroom dated and noisy exhaust fan. Overall is good, like to stay here when visiting verden next time.

Lovely welcoming and quiet hotel. Great location with lovely view from balcony. Staff were kind enough to speak to me in English and their English was very good. Breakfast was very nice with lots of choices.

Stayed here 30 years ago on our honeymoon, it is still almost exactly the same. Typical German hotel room, no tea/coffee. Wouldn't like to stay here in the summer, no air con and lots of road noise when you sleep with the window open. Location is good for touring the surrounding area.

Good all round old fashioned hotel, excellent breakfast buffet. Only missing tea and coffee making facilities in room. But you can get a coffee or tea fom the bar.

Nice restaurant, nice terrace. Food is okay, but too salty for my liking and they seem to serve gurkins with everything... Asked for gluten free food, but still got sick from eating it so I'd be careful when you have food allergies. Friends of mine stayed in the hotel part, of which they said it was very good.

Small hotel located directly at the motorway exit. Rooms are already quite old. Overall, the hotel is very noisy and the common room in the hallway doesn't make things any better. Here you can really hear every word in the room.

If I only had to rate the breakfast I would give it 5 stars. Nice courteous service. Great selection. Everything was there, nothing was missing. But the room really wasn't nice. The only plus point was the large TV. When we arrived we had to make a phone call because no one was there. After several attempts we reached someone and they explained to us how to get the room key. Large and quiet rooms. Good bathroom. The breakfast was good but not outstanding. Near the autobahn and a parking place that felt secure. A rather boring hotel but perfect when you need to stay a night whilst driving

It was great. I worked in a 4 star hotel myself. But the quality of Forellenhof is really unique. The crew is very friendly, experienced and you feel like you are in safe hands. Unfortunately, I could not leave as much tip as the staff deserves. The first time you come there and do not want to leave. Everything was great: food, mattress, etc.

This is a great place to stay in this beautiful area!. Staff is increibly nice and helpful. Food is superb. Great for company meetings, celebrations, or a relaxing weekend. Anyway recommendable 100%

Nice hotel, good breakfast buffet. Own brewery in house. My room was spacious with good quality furniture, nice modern bathroom. Large TV and good pillows.

We rented two of the large suites for our family which was great and ate a few meals here, the food was good and the beers which are brewed on site were delicious! Would recommend for sure!

I only rate the stay, not the hotel type. It's a guest house and besides friendly service you get everything you need. Large rooms, desk, refrigerator and, depending on the location, a small terrace. I didn't use breakfast, so no rating. Parking spaces are available. I would love to come back.

Very large room with bathroom and separate kitchen. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very nice and courteous when the check-in time was different. Away from the associated restaurant with ballroom about 2 minutes on foot. Beds were very cozy, breakfast was a small but nice buffet with scrambled eggs and bacon. Very good coffee! We'll definitely be back!

Good German food like grandma used to make :-) Large portions, nice service. On the weekends you should make a reservation because space is limited and many have discovered this "secret tip". The food for eight people came almost at the same time, eight different dishes. Top !

Amazing for such a cheap place, receptionist spoke great english, room had plenty of power outlets which is something other places i have tried didnt have, bathroom and shower was decent too.

The hotel is not far from the highway but I did not heard nothing from outside. But you can hear your neighbours. The bed was comfortable and clean. A big problem for me was that the water in the middle so you could wash with cold water or with a bit warm water. I do not know if was the case only in that room. The Overflow in the bathroom needs cleaned, the toilet bowl was crooked. Unfortunately, it was received over Wi-Fi, no Internet. The rooms were simple but OK, the window could not open due to the noise outside (the industrial area, many trucks), as it was then too loud.

A cheap hotel located in a rather uninteresting part of the town. The decor needs a serious upgrade, as it's a bit like travelling back in time. We had a triple room, which gave us plenty of space, but the cleaning could have been better. The hotel has a limited number of (paid) parking spots. The centre of the city is not within walking distance.

Nothing bad and nothing extra, you get what you need; a good place to sleep and continue in your trip...

Excellent hotel and service. I was attended in spanish and was great. Its a little bit far from the city center but have good connections with the tram or the train.

Reasonable price, the building seemed a bit old, but the room is updated, the sound coming from the road was a bit disturbing, hotel was 15min away from City center and 5 min away from the motorway, reception 24h available, free Wi-Fi

The stars are not related to the hotel category, but to the satisfaction. For a Budget Hotel you cannot set the scale of an Exquisite hotel. I organised a trip with 26 people to this hotel for a weekend at Serengeti Park and Heide Park. The location is perfect as it is in the middle and easy to reach both places. The breakfast was FANTASTIC and the customer services brilliant throughout the whole organisation. The one thing I would update would be to remove all carpets especially in the rooms. I think it's there, just heavenly and class. Since I was a child I used to go there from time to time , whether it be to dinner, a Celebration, or a drink after a walk through the Park to something there.

The Landhaus Höpkens Ruh is located in the homonymous Park, in a quiet environment. The rooms are decorated with an eye for Detail, the Breakfast is excellent and the Service staff extremely courteous.

Exzellentes Hotel mit schönen Zimmern. Das Personal ist großartig. Schöne Aussicht auf die Pferderennbahn von den Zimmern auf der Rückseite. Sehr großes Frühstücksbuffet

Had a business Christmas party at the hotel. Food and drinks have been very good, service was friendly.
