Lovely hotel, very central. Rooms clean and a good size

It is a decent 3-star hotel located in the center of the town. The rooms are spacious and nice, but they are a bit worn down at the same time. The bed is large and comfortable. Breakfast is a bit basic, but they can make you an omelet on the spot, which is excellent, and good coffee as well. It maybe a bit pricey but for its 3 stars is pretty good without being pretentious.

Hotel Hoeltje is well-run hotel in a quiet street the centre of town. The owner takes great pride in providing a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. We had a very spacious top floor room with a little balcony. The staff at the reception is very welcoming, knowledgeable and always keen to help. For breakfast the hotel offers a variety of cooked to order dishes, a choice of cold meats, cheeses, fruits...

We used to stay here and always good service. Remember the lovely bar with a girl called ute Bernstein. If i go to verden again, this is the place(many years ago i was here but it looks as good)

Nicest hotel staff in all of Germany, had a wonderful stay.

Nice hotel, great breakfast. Large room, but bathroom dated and noisy exhaust fan. Overall is good, like to stay here when visiting verden next time.

Stayed here 30 years ago on our honeymoon, it is still almost exactly the same. Typical German hotel room, no tea/coffee. Wouldn't like to stay here in the summer, no air con and lots of road noise when you sleep with the window open. Location is good for touring the surrounding area.

Good all round old fashioned hotel, excellent breakfast buffet. Only missing tea and coffee making facilities in room. But you can get a coffee or tea fom the bar.

Cozy, well kept and a really nice stay. The staff is nice and attentive. Good food and good breakfast buffet. Would definitely visit again!

Small hotel located directly at the motorway exit. Rooms are already quite old. Overall, the hotel is very noisy and the common room in the hallway doesn't make things any better. Here you can really hear every word in the room.

If I only had to rate the breakfast I would give it 5 stars. Nice courteous service. Great selection. Everything was there, nothing was missing. But the room really wasn't nice. The only plus point was the large TV. When we arrived we had to make a phone call because no one was there. After several attempts we reached someone and they explained to us how to get the room key. So I went into the room...

Everything is perfect. Enthusiastic staff. Delicious food. Convenient transportation.

From the outside, the charm of 1980s architecture is evident. The rooms have been modernly renovated. But why do hotels have bathtubs? Too small for bathing, and extremely uncomfortable for showering.

Large and quiet rooms. Good bathroom. The breakfast was good but not outstanding. Near the autobahn and a parking place that felt secure. A rather boring hotel but perfect when you need to stay a night whilst driving

Fantastic hotel and staff. The breakfast wasn't really worth 10 euros. Well it was 9 plus 1 euro to drink.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und sauber. Die Küchenzeile ist gut ausgestattet. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und alles lief unkompliziert.

Very neat house, great apartment. Small deduction; personally like to sleep in the dark, there were no curtains or blinds under the roof. Otherwise everything is great. Highly recommended!!!

Homecoming September 25 I think it's too warm with synthetic duvets. I would like duvets made of natural materials. Wool, down or cotton.

Worth a small detour Family-run, apparently very popular place among locals. A few on-going events while we were there: a wedding and a 50th, but not disturbing at all. A hotel and a microbrewery with rooms on the same grounds. We stayed in one of those. Seemed brand new and well designed. Nice service and a good dinner in the evening, possibly a bit overpriced. The brewery part also serves food, I...

I only rate the stay, not the hotel type. It's a guest house and besides friendly service you get everything you need. Large rooms, desk, refrigerator and, depending on the location, a small terrace. I didn't use breakfast, so no rating. Parking spaces are available. I would love to come back.

Very large room with bathroom and separate kitchen. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very nice and courteous when the check-in time was different. Away from the associated restaurant with ballroom about 2 minutes on foot. Beds were very cozy, breakfast was a small but nice buffet with scrambled eggs and bacon. Very good coffee! We'll definitely be back!

Good German food like grandma used to make :-) Large portions, nice service. On the weekends you should make a reservation because space is limited and many have discovered this "secret tip". The food for eight people came almost at the same time, eight different dishes. Top !

Nice and clean. Very fine breakfast. Excelent bed, not the best pillow. Not a lot of light in the bathrom, the small lamps on the wall did not light up more than af couple of candles, the lamp over the mirrow did not work. No water boiler in the room, to make tea/coffee. But a microwave and a full sized dishwasher,. Lots of cabbinets. Nice and spacius room. The bathroom did not seem to be finished...

This is my third time stay at this hotel. The room is clean and cozy. The service is good. The reception answered all the questions and solved my problems nicely. They show their great hospitality to customers.I don’t speak German. They tried their best to help me. Definitely come back for next trip in Walsrode.

We booked a room trough Expedia and something went wrong at their system. There was no reservation in the hotel. Expedia customer service didn’t help us at all. And there was no room available for my family of 5 in the hotel. Luckily the very friendly owner went to much trouble to help us out. He offered his Holliday house nearby for the price of the room. We slept well. Thank you so much! Breakfast...

Amazing for such a cheap place, receptionist spoke great english, room had plenty of power outlets which is something other places i have tried didnt have, bathroom and shower was decent too.

Everything fine, good position if you travel on A1. Around midnight still a staff person on the reception. Clean yet simple room. Great breakfast for 10€.

The hotel is not far from the highway but I did not heard nothing from outside. But you can hear your neighbours. The bed was comfortable and clean. A big problem for me was that the water in the middle so you could wash with cold water or with a bit warm water. I do not know if was the case only in that room. The Overflow in the bathroom needs cleaned, the toilet bowl was crooked. Unfortunately, it was received over Wi-Fi, no Internet. The rooms were simple but OK, the window could not open due to the noise outside (the industrial area, many trucks), as it was then too loud.

Don't know what all the fuss is about. I stayed here a night and the service was excellent. True some places were dirty but I wasn't bothered by some spider web on the ceiling... And the breakfast was as good as any breakfast, I'd probably come here again as long as it is not for a long period of time... Button line, it's an excellent place for a short term stay!

A cheap hotel located in a rather uninteresting part of the town. The decor needs a serious upgrade, as it's a bit like travelling back in time. We had a triple room, which gave us plenty of space, but the cleaning could have been better. The hotel has a limited number of (paid) parking spots. The centre of the city is not within walking distance.

7mins walk to supermarket. 5mins walk to bus stop. Staff barely speak english.

I think it's there, just heavenly and class. Since I was a child I used to go there from time to time , whether it be to dinner, a Celebration, or a drink after a walk through the Park to something there.

The Landhaus Höpkens Ruh is located in the homonymous Park, in a quiet environment. The rooms are decorated with an eye for Detail, the Breakfast is excellent and the Service staff extremely courteous.

The new year's eve party was very well organized, great Fireworks, the ambiance speaks anyway. Can you recommend or simply go.

Really nice furnished and cosy Hotel. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The staff was very friendly and the Breakfast the next Morning was lovingly prepared and very tasty. I would stay there definitely again.

Simple, but very cheap. Clean, everything was there, friendly. Also helped, when I arrived here really late, so that I still got the key. I had practically the whole ground floor for me - at the price simply unbeatable. Maybe a bit clairaudient, but okay - and there was also free Wi-Fi!
