I haven't been to the hotel but to the restaurant for coffee and cake. I do recommend to have a pause here and have a cup of coffee and an apfelstrudel ☕🥧🍦

Comfortable beds, clean bathroom, very nice beer garden. Royal breakfast buffet.

The highlights were the trail with pond behind the hotel and the bountiful breakfast. We enjoyed getting to sit by the water in the afternoon. They even let us take our glasses of beer down. It was very pleasant.

Good restaurant, good breakfast in a quiet location close to the water. The room is of a normal standard, clean and has everything you need, even a ceiling fan. Staff is nice and there is a nice beer garden in summer. Price performance fits. With pleasure again.

Wonderful location, lovingly tended grounds, modern and practically furnished rooms. The reception is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Breakfast is served from 6.30 a.m. Very friendly, helpful staff. You can rent good bikes here. It is maybe 10 steps to the natural harbor. You can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience! We'll be back here anyway.!

We liked the uncomplicated arrival, the hotel is centrally located in Vetschau. We were greeted warmly and informed about everything. A highlight was the guest kitchen, where you can prepare something yourself if necessary, due to the lack of restaurant infrastructure. Yesterday I was only a guest for breakfast (without an overnight stay), since I had invited my wife to her birthday. The table was set perfectly, a candle was already burning when we arrived. Great ! The service was courteous, soft classical music, the lavish buffet was mainly characterized by regional producers - great class. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back!

Here you can get good lunch at reasonable daily specials. Holidaymakers, locals and craftsmen appear as guests. You can also enjoy ice cream, coffee and cake here. In the attached sale there are still Spreewald delicacies.

It was okay, but we got there very early and were hoping to find certain things there. Unfortunately we were unsuccessful. Large selection for gifts, holiday souvenirs, etc., but also trendy prices... We haven't tried the food there yet, maybe next time.

We celebrated there our wedding.It was really amazing. The service,the atmosphere...but I was disappointed about the flower decoration. It supposed to be with the dry grass and Lavendel. But there were just some strange flowers in the pots. That made me a bit sad. Also,that we had to pay for that "decoration" 80euro. So,I will rate 3stars. But the place itself really very beautiful.

This hotel has been partially remodeled adding a winter Garten and a bigger dinning salon. But we know better its restaurant. Whenever we go to Burg first lunch /dinner is in Bleske restaurant. Here you can enjoy a well made traditional food.

4-star-plus standard is not achieved, wellness/sauna/swimming area is good, but not accessible in rain and weather, bathrobes are provided, towels are not sufficient. Breakfast is good, but only filter coffee from the pot for no extra charge. Staff are sometimes not very service-conscious, parking costs 3 euros per day despite large open spaces.

The hotel is beautifully situated in nature. The grounds with two swimming pools and various saunas are lovely. You can rent bikes and there is a petting zoo opposite. We enjoyed our 4 days there. You have to remember to bring mosquito repellent in the Spreewald.

We are very satisfied! The entire team is friendly, helpful and always in a good mood and gives the guest a wonderful holiday feeling.

Directly on a river with boat rental and a large green area with seating to linger. Castle- Kauper and Burg Colony are generally very spacious. For swimming, go to Cottbus or the surrounding area, most of the opencast mining lakes are not approved and the small lakes in the vicinity are rather muddy. Yes, you have to have done it (it still needs some improvement) but the food and the staff are great.

If you don't know it, a small but nice experience. It's just a pity that the attached restaurant closes at 8 p.m. When the weather is bad, you just sit in your barrel. The hospitality and the hosts, the Hanschik family, are great and very friendly. I can recommend sleeping in the barrel.

Small nice family run hotel. The owners are open to any question. The breakfast is really sufficient and always comes up with small surprises. The rooms are clean and if you like firm mattresses, you've come to the right place. I highly recommend it.
