A very nice hotel. Very pleasant atmosphere, characterized by lots of wood. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. We ate very well there. Our room was very spacious, bright with a handcrafted impressive wooden ceiling. The barrel vault emphasized the airy and spacious impression. In the beautiful bathroom there was enough storage space, which unfortunately is not a matter of course.

Very friendly people. However, very small rooms without their own toilet and shower.

Was there on Monday 1 week and it's great. Everything smells clean and everything is good. PEOPLE BOOK A hotel in the city somewhere else where it looks clean and modern for the price is difficult so everything is positive and that the drain smelled so much that no one has used the shower for a long time. Run a little water and then it's gone

We didn't stay there but went bowling with a larger group and had a lot of fun. Even after the actual closing time, the waitress Melissa (thank you very much!!) took care of us in a more than hospitable manner and prepared a nice birthday party for my wife. Always my pleasure !

A very nice small hotel to stay at. Highly recommend. Only 2 KM from the center. I walked that way every day twice and enjoyed every minute. The food at the Heidehaus is excellent. Very clean rooms. The staff very nice. And all that for a low price

Placed near the Alter Markt is a good choice for your stay in this city. The room was places in diferent building, but was new and quiet, and the bed so confortable.

It's a quiet, peaceful hotel of just a few rooms with a far more friendly atmosphere than the large chains dotted around the city. The building and the rooms are newly renovated and clean but keep their old world charm. There are a few clunks but nothing that spoiled the stay and for sure next time I'm going back I'll phone here first.

Being old fashioned can be a good thing, for example when you have silver cutlery for your breakfast guests. My room is very nice, the bed is really comfortable, and the high ceiling gives it all the feel of a old city house. Service is very good and personal, the breakfast buffet is also very sufficient. I recommend you try it!

Very basic. Located right opposite to the Hauptbahnhof. No coffee machine in the room. There is a common kitchen with hot water and microwave. Very friendly staff. Lots of stairs. Staff speaks Deutsch and English.

Most stairs to mount ever, no lift. No a/c, contrary to booking info, but large fan. Room is neat, spacious, fridge, no drinks, no kettle. Sat TV, very small. Plenty of sockets bedside. Not bad If you like a climb challenge with 50 pounds of baggage.

Booked a room 3 weeks in advance for match night(BMG vs Bayern). When I arrived they told me that there was a mistake and that all the rooms had been booked up - no rooms left for me. Eventually I got given a double room, which was better than the single I had booked. The staff were very friendly and empathetic in fairness. This is not a modern Leonardo, but rather an old fashioned former whatever branded as a Leonardo. The bathroom was ancient and could have benefited from better housekeeping. Their Corona policy is ridiculous: you have to wear gloves at the buffet, but at the same time they tolerate that their customers meet in the reception area and drink beer, of course without mask. Disappointing.

This hotel is smack bang in the middle of Mönchengladbach and overlooks a park and the Abteiberg. The welcome was friendly and the staff throughout couldn’t do enough to assist. It’s only a 5 minute walk to the Alter Markt with plenty of bars and restaurants, and also the start of the shopping area. The room was fine. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The owner was very friendly. A good hotel for families with small children. However, due to circumstances we had to go home quickly. But has been partially compensated by the owner. Which was very neat.

I once made a short vacation in my own homeland! Such a great hotel with such lovely hosts. I feel good all over felt. The room was very spacious, well maintained and simply comfortable. Also the breakfast was great. Very lovingly prepared and there is something for every taste. It's a shame that I live in the same city...otherwise I would certainly be there more often! Keep it up ! Great suites or apartments. Very clean, functional and modern.

The stay was really very relaxing. The accommodation was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen stocked and the size of the accommodation was adequate. The apartment faced the street, which was a bit of a shame as it was very busy. But you couldn't ignore that.

German, famous for "über dreizig" parties, food is okay, customerfriendly service, quaint paying method with a personal "creditcard"whiich is paper in which holes are punched, regular Salsaparties which are very "gemütlich"

Great bar.Its modern with lots of drink choices and a lovely oudoor sitting area. The rooms are basic but are ok for a short break. Take a fan or buy one as there is no air conditioning. Breckfast is good for the area continental with eggs, bacon and even waffles.Eat qs much as you like.

Hotel, employers and location: 1A. I missed signs to find the hotel. Room 1A, but restaurant not really to recommend for gourmets. They offer mostly fastfood like at McDonalds.

It is always a great place to stay. The hotel and the atmosphere is fantastic. If you are a Borussia Fan, it is a must to stay there.

Not been back in the Tannenhof for many years. But when we were on duty in the nearby Ayrshire Barracks we always enjoyed this nice hotel. The food. The draft beers. Great to note it still is there and in operation as a family business

Cosy and comfortable rooms, hospitable hosts, convenient location. I already stayed in Tannenhof several times and plan to come back again.

We know the Tannenhof for many years. And are Happy that it's still family run and doing well. In the old BAOR garrison years myself and some staff used to almost live in this nice quiet and laid back hotel.

A clean, small, family-run hotel on the outskirts of Mönchengladbach. The ride to the city takes a moment, but it is close to the stadium and a growing commercial area. They only serve breakfast, so be prepared to get your warm meals elsewhere. A supermarket is nearby. The charge for WiFi, but the prices are all right.

The peace and quiet and the rooms are huge breakfast is abundant the staff was exceptional especially when i passed out and hit my head. They helped me out called an ambulance and once back I found a bowl of treats

The rooms and the hotel really in style and cool. However, the room size is ok, but the bathroom is tiny and really small. The service is ok, but not great. The hot water was running out after a short time and that made the day really no fun to start with. It was clean and up to date.
