This hotel is smack bang in the middle of Mönchengladbach and overlooks a park and the Abteiberg. The welcome was friendly and the staff throughout couldn’t do enough to assist. It’s only a 5 minute walk to the Alter Markt with plenty of bars and restaurants, and also the start of the shopping area.
The room was fine. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The TV in the room had channels from all over the world, including the main British ones. High speed Internet was exactly that - high speed.
We enjoyed our stay here and will certainly return.

Beds and pillows terrible...However Breakfast good.
So if you want to wake up tired but leave well fed then it's the place for you.

Spacious clean modern room with bath and nice view (and windows can be opened). Shower gel smells very nice. Breakfast is quite ok (they have salmon and a selection of delicious cheeses; orange juice of acceptable quality; eggs; all kinds of good coffee; …).

This is not a modern Leonardo, but rather an old fashioned former whatever branded as a Leonardo. The bathroom was ancient and could have benefited from better housekeeping. Their Corona policy is ridiculous: you have to wear gloves at the buffet, but at the same time they tolerate that their customers meet in the reception area and drink beer, of course without mask. Disappointing.

My wife and I spent 4 nights in Monchengladbach and as before, we were both very pleased with the politeness and helpfulness your staff are always willing to provide to ensure our stay was comfortable. It's a bad 4 stars and a good 3 stars. Receptionist not so friendly, for me is the biggest loss

Really enjoyed our stay here and decided to stay an extra night as we liked it that much and would stay again no problem.

Good location, nice hotel and good bar. Breakfast was expensive and you need to pay to use their car park but overall good priced hotel and would use again.

The room was large and comfortable and the hotel is in a very good location. There seems to be an issue with the drains smelling a bit in the bathroom which I noticed on a previous trip. The bar is advertised as closing at 1.00 but it was closed at 11.30 when I returned from dinner. Apart from that, the staff were very pleasant and I will book the hotel on future trips.
