Hotel opened in 1600, renovated in 2013. In this mini-hotel 16 rooms, 3 floors.

Awful, the worst stay I've ever had!!! The so called hotel is spookie, not attrsctive at all. When I first opened the room I knew right away that this is not good. It lools like they are renovating and the room was really cold!! The bathroom was... I am speachless! Cold, small, uggly... I booked the Superior room, but I got a chicken house room! They had the guts to take 60 Euros for it. I wouldn't pa a Cent for it!
Just look at my REAL pictures and theirs, compare.
The breakfast was ok, nothing special, maybe a little poor.
The worst thing of all, when I told the reception in the morning that I'm not happy with anything and want to check out. I had to pay 90% of my total BOOKED stay!

Somewhere between "Satisfactory" and "Very Good"
The Hotel Garni "Turmdieb" offers interestingly furnished rooms. A retro style mix of modern and old is harmoniously implemented with lots of colour.
Some of the rooms are a bit dated and could do with minor renovations here and there.
Breakfast is served in buffet form in the café. It could certainly be a bit more extensive, but in the end everything was there. I wasn't offered scrambled eggs or fried eggs. Why the orange juice is not among the breakfast ingredients is not revealed to me.
There is a fridge with drinks available in the hotel.
The reception is in the main building "Zum Schwane", which is 30 meters away from the tower thief.
Conclusion: A perfectly acceptable hotel for one or two nights.

The positive first: the rooms were spacious and the staff was friendly. The hotel only cleans the rooms every other day during longer stays. This is understandable from the point of view of environmental protection. However, at these prices you should at least take a quick look into the room to see if everything is in order and make the beds. You don't just pay every other day. We ran out of toilet paper on the second night. Only a thin stream came from the shower. For breakfast, four of us were seated at two mini tables, which made eating difficult due to the cramped space. The first day the eggs were way too hard and the second day the coffee didn't taste good. A fried or scrambled egg would have been nice.

Very, very great hotel, very nicely furnished. A well-equipped bicycle garage. With options for plugging in the battery. Great breakfast coffee. Very lovingly furnished.
The rooms are small, but everything you need is there.
