Idyllic location and the loveliest welcome from staff whilst we were on a concert tour round Europe. Not all hotels welcome us so warmly and it makes such a difference. The view from the room was gorgeous, great facilities (wellness centre and pool!), lovely breakfast- would recommend!

Super beautiful hotel. Everything is very modern. I loved the blackout curtains and metallic rolls in our room, we slept very good. We enjoyed our stay (1 adult and a 2 year old) The hotel was clean and the receptionist’s were friendly. Only down side was the kids menu is very limited and the breakfast isn’t very kids friendly. Pancakes for example would be great for kids instead of been offered pastries. Overall nice stay and would recommend.

Nice and friendly, wonderful spacious room

Good location for families with small children. Everything needed, starting with wound pad over bottle-warmer up to forgotten nappy is available on request. The service is ok and food with meals also. The great reason for choosing this hotel is the directly adjacent public indoor swimming pool with warm brine bath water, which is included in the hotel fee.

This place LITERALLY closes down at 22:00. The staff all go home AND TURN OFF ALL THE LIGHTS!! You are forced to go to bed at that time! Absurd, in my opinion.

Hotel Karoli was a great vacation with a terrific view of charming Waldkirchen, tasty food (sehr lekker) and great staff. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bavaria and loved our time at the hotel. Highly recommend!!

The rustic Gottinger has very friendly welcoming staff. We had a back-facing room with a nice terrace, and despite the older style of the lobby and reception, the room itself was very modern and comfortable.

The holiday village is a very good alternative to the beach by the sea. It offers an outdoor/indoor pool and a sauna. It is ideal for dogs.

Area and environment very nice-unfortunately we didn't like the location of the holiday apartment that we wanted to buy there-it's a shame everything else was very good for us.

Quite cozy, honest family hotel, located on the Freudensee, only separated from it by the access road. The lake rises idyllically into a forest and invites you to take a tour.

Beautiful lake right in front of the door with its own bathing area and a few meters further there is a flat area for the children to enter with a beautiful, unusual playground. We stayed at one of their holiday apartment. It has very basic amenities. The kitchen is tiny 😂 but has all the basic kitchenwares. Bathroom has 2 sinks. We were in September, a week at the Hotel Seehof for Hiking and a little Sight Seeing. My husband and I felt in good hands. The Service was friendly and accommodating and the rooms were clean and spacious. The food was also good and varied. We love the Bavarian cuisine. The beer garden is very unloving (plastic sets, plastic table cover, rusted screens...). Service was good, the quality of the food was excellent. The hotel has great central location. Check-in and out was easy and quick. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choices! I found everything clean and nice. I appreciated the free wifi, that worked all areas of the hotel. Free parking was also a plus.

But what I was allowed to experience with you is incredibly, genuine hospitality (right Family) super eat right with fresh ingredients, super Breakfast buffet, ample choice of fresh salads...

The hotel is at a great hillside location in a quiet area. You can't even hear the street nearby. Owner and staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast was nice. We really enjoyed our days in the sauna, hotel and surrounding area. Family atmosphere. Can recommend the hotel to everyone. We will gladly come again.

I stayed at this hotel for a short trip with my boyfriend. We were absolutely amazed by the friendliness of the owner and the delicious dishes! Here you can relax and recover from everyday life. The rooms are very spacious and friendly furnished. The works of art on the walls of the owner's niece give the ambience something very special. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely be back!

The hotel, lovingly run by the owners, immediately invites you to relax. The entire hotel area is beautifully designed and the rooms are very clean. The food is always just outstanding, one of the best places to eat in the refion. Menu changes quiet regularly to adjust to the fresh produce at the time. The staff are always extremely warm, friendly and organised.

It's a hotel on the countryside, 20 minutes to drive by car to Passau. You have to check-in till 11 PM, and you get handed a key to enter your room and the hotel itself of you stay out longer. There's no nightmanager. The room ist quite large and I think each room's hot a balcony, which ist quite nice. The bathroom is tiny, but everything seemed quite clean, ebenso the towel looked old and shabby....

Great place to stay especially for motorcyclist looking to explore the surrounding areas (Bavarian Forrest, northern Austria and Czech Republic). The landlords (Max and Petra) were amazingly helpful and friendly. They offer a free range of planed tours for motorcyclist and go so far as to install them onto your GPS for you. If you don’t have car, then commute can be problem. Apart from that everything is convenient.

I am not yet done here. For the mean time, they're excellent in terms of human relationship. The two women at the restaurant work tirelessly. I hope they receive enough remuneration for their service. I mean the short woman with grey hair and her colleague. I hope to ask them their names. Food is tasty. We love the place!!! My husband has been coming here since he was a kid (this is his 17th time here!!!) and now we bring our own children. There is a sled run right to the side of the house and you can borrow sleds there. The pool is a little cold for the kids but would be perfect temperature for swimming a few laps. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the decor in the rooms is very modern. The beds were comfortable too. Our bathroom was a bit older with a mysterious water meter in the shower 😅. Across the street in the inn you can have dinner. Breakfast is okay.

Biker friendly great staff great food

Kitchen closes at 20 PM, when you should do it however in time you yourself as a guest of the hotel, the choice between chips and... guess... right, Schnitzel with French fries. PS. on 2 nights, the reception was not occupied.

New, very stylish restaurant, one of best places around, but the food is not more than average and one waiter for whole restaurant - it was almost impossible to cover all guests, we had been waiting for the lunch more than 75 mins and this is not possible for this type of hotel/restaurant.

Mich findet man mittlerweile fast nur noch in Unterkünften, in denen es keine Teppichboden mehr gibt. Von daher ist das für mich ein wichtiges Kriterium, welches unser Zimmer erfüllt hat. In unserem Zimmer gab es dazu hochwertige Holzmöbel. Man fühlt sich in den Zimmern wohl und wacht ausgeruht auf.

Uns hat ALLES gefallen. Die Unterkunft, die angenehmen Gespräche mit der Chefin des Hauses, das wunderbare Frühstück, die Lage des Hotels, der Bayerische Wald. Hier sollte man gewesen sein.

Nice, cozy, friendly, clean. I felt very comfortable. Only one thing is a shame, if we ever have a child then we would have to go to another hotel. I have nothing against children on the contrary. I am a family person. You could think about letting a few families in because the area is definitely very interesting for families.

Excellent place to stay. The suite in the perfect size, very clean, lovingly furnished. Very attentive owners who always pay attention to the well-being of the guests and have good tips for planning the day. 5 stars distributed with pleasure!

We were biking through the area and stopped at this place to have dinner. Based on our conversations with the owner we were the first Americans to come there. We only stayed for dinner but the staff were friendly, welcoming and very attentive. The food was also excellent and had a nice varied selection. We ate outside on the back patio area and really enjoyed the tranquil setting.

There is a good selection of food and seasonal food offerings (e.g. chanterelles, porcini, ...). The selection of drinks leaves nothing to be desired. The waiter was very friendly. Therefore, thoroughly recommended.

Beautiful country Inn, with a very pleasant atmosphere. We had a liver dumpling and a pancake soup. Veal cheeks and veal schnitzel with fried potatoes. The Schnitzel was the best that I have ever eaten! And I thought I would have had everything already. Very tasty breading, and the roasted potatoes were also exceptionally good. Not least, the homemade cranberry ensured that I'm going to stop off here...

The breakfast was plenty, sufficient and good. The family is very nice and attentive. Always making sure that nothing is missing at breakfast. The double room with an extra bed was very large. The beds comfortable. There was a TV and a large closet. It was very quiet in town at night. There are enough parking spaces at the house. You can quickly get to the national park or the wildlife area.

The hotel is no longer up to date, but otherwise makes a good impression.

We stayed at the Hotel Dreisonnenberg for a short vacation. Very friendly, accommodating and above all very hard working. Breakfast buffet varied and wishes are catered for. Thanks for the tip about the tour through the national park. We enjoyed staying here and will recommend the hotel.

Hotel has very good location if you want to visit Bayericher Wald Baumkronenweg. Hotel was also very clean, all functional. What was on the other hand not so good was small shower tube. Also breakfast very simple and paid separately.

We stayed at Pension Gambrinus for 3 nights. The house was new renovated and very cozy. It is not close to town, but it's easy to get rid of the car in Passau's parking garages. The house is close to the Austrian border. There are several good restaurants, both in Austria but also in the direction of the city. Very good breakfast with homemade apricot jam..
