We were guests at the Strandhotel Gerken at the beginning of December. The hotel is beautifully located right on the promenade. The room we had had a few small weaknesses, but they hardly detracted from the really good overall impression. There are hardly any shelves for washing utensils in the bathroom area. We were there at coffee time. We had to wait 10-15 minutes for the service to give us the first comb. At least 4 tables were not cleared, it took 25 minutes for the dirty dishes to be cleared away. The hotel has a great lounge with a sea view. The keeper is having fun and it's bursting from every pore of his being, we really enjoyed being his guests! The service is great, the cocktails are well-intentioned and the chat is warm. At New Year's there was a glass of champagne on the house from the boss himself.

Very bad internet. You could hardly use Facebook l😂😂😂 let alone Netflix ! So bad I use my own data to connect to others devices ! Often no internet. Staff are quite friendly.

We just had dinner this night and tge food was delicious. Service was absolutely ok. I deduct one star for the price ranges, but that is usual for Wangerooge.

Unfortunately this house has been released for demolition. We are probably the last guests. It is a shame about the old seaside architecture and the charm that this house exudes. Even though, understandably, a lot of investments were not made due to the near end, we enjoyed our stay here.

We were there for a "rehearsal" in May, since we will be staying there with our wedding guests in August 23. This place is everything you need on an island. Firstly it has a very cozy atmosphere that just fits Wangerooge. Very nice hotel. Rooms are very tasteful and the breakfast was plentiful. You can get to the sandy beach of Schillig very quickly by bike. But a walk to the dike in the evening was also great. Be sure to take a look at Seewiefken.

Very nice single room, the bathroom not modern, but functional. There was a large and attractive breakfast buffet, as well as friendly staff. I especially enjoyed the carriage ride with the very personable coachman and beautiful Frisians!

The conversion has been a complete success. The ambiance is very nice. The rooms are stylishly furnished. There is free coffee, tea and cocoa all day long. A water bubbler is also available. I like to come back every year.

The room was under the roof without a balcony, but the temperature was pleasant. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast is served in buffet form. This was plentiful, stocked with different things and egg dishes were freshly prepared. We say thank you to the accommodation.

Always a pleasure to stay at Hotel Hinrichs. We have been guests there for the last 4 years. The location is ideal for visiting the entire North Sea coast The family run nature of the hotel means it is friendly and quiet. The food and quality of the service and rooms makes it a very good value for the money. 5 stars!

Was there about 12 years ago. Because the previous landlords were the grandparents of my boyfriend at the time. They were both very, very nice and the apartments were always very clean
