A modern hotel, absolutely worth an overnight. Beautiful spacy rooms with every comfort. Good complete breakfast. Superfriendly staff. In this category, it’s a bargain. In the evening we ate at the bistro. The food leaves room for more ambition. It’s more quantity than quality, although made with fresh ingredients. Wine and service were superb.

Good sized rooms, clean and modern and a short walk from the town square.

We have stayed in this hotel three times now as part of road trips from the UK to visit family. It is an excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff, clean and well maintained rooms, good facilities and a solid restaurant. Breakfast has a lot of good options and caters well for people with food allergies. Highly recommended.

Hard to find in the darkness The hotel was hard to find in the dark of night. Also hard to find because of the closure of the motorway and other streets, which we cannot blame on the hotel. It is out in the countryside, with no street lights. No reception but a key box. No open restaurant, so no food available. If the hotel had warned us, we might have been able to order a sandwich or salad and a beerwhich...

We stayed 5 nights in this hotel and it was perfect. Our room was incredibly clean and cleaning ladies were super nice and helpful. The host was also helpful and thoughtful. Definitely recommended.

This hotel is 10/10 the Gold Standard that other hotels should come to visit to see how to achieve 10/10. Almost brand new. The design is stunning, ask to browse the before and after books of photos, a miracle renovation done by the owners and family in less than two years. Windows open and it has A/C. Stayed the weekend with a friend for FOH21. Chose this place because of the positive reviews and the good price/quality. We had a very good time! Nice big room, great bed, spotless clean and one of the best breakfasts i had in years. +1 for the sun blinds on every window. Peacefull garden to enjoy a coffee. The best Breakfast I had in a Hotel for only 5 Euro. The Hotel in particular, my room was very clean. I had a large TV in the room and a comfortable bed. Parking is on the other side of the street from the Hotel and are free of charge. A come back, nothing speaks.

In the context of a training here in the house long-leg to come under. The whole house is consistently clean,the rooms a good size, a very extensive Breakfast, W-Lan , TV and free Parking is available and all at an acceptable price. As i point the friendly and familiar atmosphere.

Centrally located and room is well sized for a family - not large and not small. Perfect for a night stay. Toilet was clean and enough towels were nearly arranged. Water kettle, tea bags , condensed milk and coffee powder were also present which is not usual for every hotel. Worth the money and nice stay.

Front desk friendly, hotel feels a little dated. See pictures, in regards to the amenities a simple bottle of water would have been a nice touch (like you get it every where else). The smallest available tv in the room, making it hard to see from the adjacent bed. Biggest mishap during the stay was that the housekeeping lady opened the door without knocking or ringing any bell, in my view this is housekeeping...

Check if you need to pay. Hotel has 3 own parking spaces around the corner. Single rooms are available. Would i go here again: yes, no doubt!

Staff are brill. Bar is very cosy. Room was big and well priced. Area was a big surprise, from a quiet little square with coffee shops to a busy night life with lots of reasturants. 2 nights in total on our way through Europe. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Quite nice hotel but it seems that everythink was heavily used. But for the budget in germany (i spend 49€ per single room) seems pretty great.

Excellent experience We stayed in a large, well designed room with integrated shower and wash basin, accessible and easy to use for everyone without having the feel of a ‘disabled’ room, comfortable beds, very clean. The breakfast buffet offered a good choice, and we also had a great dinner in the hotel restaurant. All in all a very pleasant experience, also good value for money.

Lovely quiet stay. Staff pleasant and informative. We stayed in one of the new annex rooms. Breakfast fine, good quality ingredients. You will get damp if it is raining, even if a hotel provided umbrella is used.

Comfortable room. The staff were very accommodating. They provided me with a computer workspace area and coffee in early hours of the morning (3am) when me working in our room would have disturbed my (sleeping) husband. Staff were efficient and generous. Our stay here, to visit friends and the legal district, was everything I could have hoped for.

A very nice hotel with beautiful grounds and a great restaurant. Very close to the motorway so no time is wasted if your stop is part of a longer journey but still very peaceful. One of the most comfortable beds my wife and I have ever slept in. Strongly recommended!

What a beautiful hotel! Our room was absolutely picturesque, and the hotel grounds were breathtaking. A really interesting combination of old German charm with a modern flare. We ate in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner and both meals were great. If I’m ever in the area again I will consider Gut Kump a must stay location.

Positively surprised . Arrived late evening when dining area was already closed ,asked for any option on buying a tea. Consierge prepared 2 for me and my wife even that wasn't of his duties. Hospitality at the top level.

A very nice hotel, centrally located with great public transport connections. It was clean, and my room even had its own balcony. The bed was very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was a little small but perfectly functional. The only minor improvement would be a mirror in the main room, but otherwise, it was fantastic. I'll definitely be back!

Second time staying here and my opinion has not changed. Everything was perfect!

The good: spacious rooms, balcony, close to city center (with car). The bad: no airco, no fridge, no kettle, paid coffee (coffee machine available in room, you have to buy coffee cups from the reception - 1.50 euro a piece). Parking is a mix: there are some parking spaces of the hotel, but the spaces are tight. Couldn't find an available spot each time, but enough free parking spaces on the street...

Needless to say, the three-star rating is because it does not deserve four stars. All of them are generals and generals and can only be said to be liveable.

Functions as a city hotel, clean, beds OK, shower small but OK, bed linen and towels white and clean, breakfast also good, but unfortunately the elevator is out of order and it is tiring to climb 2 flights of stairs.

Good little budget hotel, a bit worn and rough around the edges, but good size rooms and just about clean enough to spend a short time in central Dortmund. Lots of good amenities around and it's a very vibrant and diverse area.

Clean hotel with spacious rooms, very close to the tram stop from where you can reach the center, poor services but ok for a night or two. In the morning there is no one at the reception. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are welcoming. The only flaw is check in after 2 pm

Generally, transportation is not convenient

Budget friendly hotel, room was nice. Aircon was loud and didn’t do an awful lot, Bathroom was the best. Bed very comfortable however the bedroom itself wasn’t exactly spacious! Be prepared, no wardrobe or draws of any kind just a rail for hangers. No safe either, bottle of water supplied but room was that disgustingly warm it was warm as there wasn’t a fridge. Well worth the stay if visiting...

We stayed 2 nights as part of a package to see Borussia Dortmund play. The hotel is well outside the city centre however it is conveniently located across the road from a light railway station that had a regular service to the city centre, taking approximately 15 minutes. Staff where friendly and helpful at check in and helped us to move room when we were booked into a double instead of a twin room...

Environment: very good Hygiene: clean and hygienic fully equipped good service

The hotel is really nice and the stuff is friendly. There are a few things that can be improved. Tv didn’t work in our room, and the only one solution was to switch the room. Also, even if the hotel is nearby the main road, you cannot hear anything. One big plus is that they have a charging station for electric cars.

Loved this hotel - after a long day on the road, they took us in quite late in the evening. The hotel was located exactly where we wanted it - it was clean and quiet with loads of extras to make you feel comfortable and at home. Good parking and great breakfast. Would stay again. Thank you.

Stayed here on our drive back to England from Poland. Clean and comfortable hotel well worth the price with free on-site parking. Attached restaurant caters to food allergies (gluten and dairy) and dogs are welcome and treated well (dog bowl and puppy treats in the room). LOVE this hotel. Will definitely stay again on our way through.

We were in Dortmund for a wedding and stayed here for one evening. Upon arrival the host was very friendly. He could communicate in English and told us everything we might need to know. The hotel has closed WiFi - you receive the password at check-in. The bed was very comfortable and the room standard. The bathroom has lots of mirrors and everything you might need. 10 min to mainstation. Clean. Friendly Staff. Many cheap turkish restaurants near the hotel (2,5 EURO for a Döner). Fair Prices. You could take food to your room. Smokers area. Wifi works (just gotta ask for the code). Good place to stay during events or festivals.

It has a narrow corridor and escalators were not available. But rooms are big and good. It has a decent restaurant too. Worth the cost.

We booked this hotel for a Euro 2024 match and it ended being a great choice. The staff at this hotel is super friendly and they genuinely care about your stay making sure you have everything you need. The rooms were a good size, beds were comfortable and if you choose to eat at the hotel they have some great food too. Hotel is in good location near to train station and shopping area. We had a triple room which is clean. However washroom ventilation fan not working also air conditioner not working, we told hotel but no technician fixing it. Hotel reception Miss Victoria was nice and offer us free breakfast as compensation.  It would be good if there is kettle in the room form boiling water.

It was a very comfortable stay for a family with child and dog. Room was cosy. Breakfast was very nice and nutritious . Downstairs table football for a small family game was also fun.

Can I say that this hotel is simply too good! First of all, the location is great. Turn left from the train station and walk for 6-10 minutes. The red sign is easy to find. We stayed there for 2 nights. We had very nice and modern rooms. The PIN access worked perfectly and was great as we wanted to check in later. Breakfast is very good and fresh with a fully automatic coffee machine with specialties. The room and the hotel in general was very clean and the staff was friendly. If we are in Dortmund again, we will be happy to come back!

The rooms are comfortable, clean and very quiet. They serve a good breakfast. The Dortmund stadium can be easily reached by public transportation. If you travel by car, they have a dedicated parking lot.

The pin for the key didn't work, we had the wrong pin and it took a long time to reach someone on the phone

It's really a value for money. 5m walk from Hauptbahnhof and good price with breakfast. I paid 60 Euros. Attention that is located in a dodgy area, if you are ok with that it's good value. Rooms are outdated and not very enhanced. Some dirty corners and shared areas even more dirty.

I do - however - usually sleep on my belly and without a pillow... thus I require an unusually hard mattress (which is almost never available anywhere). The world apparently consists of "back-sleepers" only. ;-)

I booked this place because it said it had parking. I did not expect the hotel parking to be free. However, when I got there they told me you have to book the parking in advance and that I can park in the paid parking across the boulevard which costs only 16 EUR / day. It ended up costing 31 EUR for 10 hours.

Went to watch the football so the hotel was in a good location. It's about a 30-minute walk. You can get a train from the airport to the Dortmund station, which is a 5 minute walk away. The hotel is in the centre so everything is within walking distance. Rooms are nice, the hotel is clean and I would recommend it for a short stay. Breakfast looked poor so went to a local cafe which was better value

Facilities: The room is neither too big nor too small, and it is not disposable. You have prepared your own slippers and toothbrush adapters. There was no problem with washing the bedding and so on. The buffet is 10.5 euros, which is a great value. Hygiene: No problem, Room service is changed every day. Environment: Very good. There is a supermarket Netto nearby and the Shopping mall can be reached...

Location is excellent with walking distance from themain railway station in Dortmund. Another advantage is that the bus stop for the airport express, which is opposite the railway station on the left hand side is also only a five minute walk. The reception was very helpful and supportive. The room was clean nd quite. Wifi worked well. Behind the hotel are many shops and restaurants in about 10 minutes...

Good hotel, there was a fridge and a safe in the room. Less than 5 minutes to the historical center and the train station. There is nothing to do in Dortmund itself, you can only go to football and that's it.
