Industrial area, 15 Euro to park, dirty bedroom carpet, no comfortable lounge area. Next to the Rhine but no outside sitting area. Would not go back

A lot of hotel room for a little price. If you crave perfection...this is not your hotel. This is an older hotel in a spectacular location!! We rented a family suite. It had two bedrooms and a living room and slept 4 adults VERY comfortably. It is not a luxury hotel but it was clean and every request me made was met with cheerful compliance. My only complaint is that the shower is very small...

It's cheap, friendly staff, clean and a nice allround hotel. Only disadvantage is thr location, it's a 15 minute walke on a very uncomfortable road to the nearest bus and the industrial terrain besides the hotel isn't very nice either.

Check in, checkout : great. The keys are provided with locker box and you receive it's code on email. Cleanliness : great. Kitchen : great. Location : not so good. Wesseling Nord is the nearer station, that being outside Köln zone. Also Google Maps do not show the stairs to cross the bridge on the way from station to to hotel.

Good priced hotel and the room was great with a shared kitchen that was good to have. Very friendly helpful host. The location is a bit out of the way so you need a car or Uber. If you come bring train Wesseling Nord is a 20 minutes walk along a straight road.

The staff were very generous, they always had a positive attitude. Great for long-term stay though you need to walk a little to get to the nearest train stop. The shared kitchen is open all the time. The rooms were quiet, so were the surroundings of the building.

Clean and large room with access to a vending machine... Big queen size bed that was very comfortable... Location felt as if we were in the middle of an industrial estate, as it is... Excellent hotel for a business stay in the area, not really for a romantic getaway.... Parking was an issue as there are not sufficient spaces for the number of rooms and would have preferred secured parking, I'm not...

Amazing hotel for room and place I like the bed is so comfortable that I recommend use it if anybody want to come cologne just take the 16 tram southbound to Wesseling where I went to it would be nice if it got tea or coffee maker but at end of the day you can’t have everything you want highly recommended go here and done my room review on my YouTube channel

Super cheap! No front, to check in you need to operate vending machine like control panel in the door. The good thing is you can select English, the bad thing is the operation is a bit difficult to understand. The hotel has no Aircon, so still hot on mid September. Supermarket is in 5min, Kiosk is in 1min, Train station to city is in 10min to walk. This is the place just for sleeping in the night...

Room was clean,bno instructions to use facilities. No staff, access microwave/ cooker was difficult.

No airflow, it was really hot in the room. We did have the window open all the time. It was cold outside but the room was still hot.

A little bit away from the town but a short walk to the tram stop and a half an hour journey was perfect for us. The room was a nice size and very clean solid 9/10

Old hotel, rooms are simply furnished but clean. Staff very friendly. This house is in need of renovation. But enough for one night. Breakfast is sufficient. You can eat well in the restaurant. I would advise against a longer stay

I can't connect my stacks system at first absolutely.I don't know what some people for 40 .- Euro room price incl. Room is still to be expected.I was friendly and exellent welcomed,my questions were kindly answered,the room was clean and ordendlich the Breakfast is sufficient and for the category, even lush (as I've experienced), I can only say everything in all at any time again !!!

Cute little hotel. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is very tasteful and furnished with great attention to detail. The owner is very helpful and lovely, the breakfast is ok. The location is great and very central. All in all definitely worth a stay.

I stayed at the Bonprix Hotel this weekend and I liked the experience! The room was clean, the breakfast so good and the hotel staff was so nice! It is located at 15 min walk from the train station.

Decent little hotel, easy check in and out. Not a huge choice for breakfast. Don’t be put off the industrial estate we didn’t hear any noise.

Its a three star hotel in a semi industrial area that offers breakfast only. They do laundry and keep the rooms clean. Im here for work and its a good enough place to stay money wise.

Very nice place to stay. I would give it five stars, but the "small" TV only had a few channels, the breakfast (although good for a continental) was limited, and the language barrier was a small challenge. I would still recommend this place because they were friendly and not frustrated by the language barrier.

The only thing that could make stay better in the summer, would be airco in the hotelrooms. The rest is great service.

Re. Restaurant ONLY: hidden gem for some local dishes (see pictures; e.g. once a week there are very tasty potato fritters called “Reibekuchen” or “Rievkooche” op Kölsch, mouth-watering sauté potatoes or “Bratkartoffeln”). Went here as I was craving some good German dishes and was positively surprised. Also friendly service - will return again.

It’s very easy to get to phantasialand from this hotel - a 5-8 minute walk to bruhl mitte station and the bus will take you straight there. The apartment was very clean and had comfortable beds. It was close to supermarket and restaurants. Great parking. Ten minutes to Phantasialand by car.

Very nice hotel, close to the center. Just keep your window closed at night during the week because the start working at 7 am. We stayed in the appartement and realy liked it. Very nice to visit Phantasialand (15min away) There is an amazing Chinese restaurant (Orchidee) close by. Just go straight to the center and it's at the roundabout.

Lovely, quiet location right by the river. Local shops are a 5 mins walk away. Nice breakfast set-up where you can sit inside, or outside on a lovely balcony with a few tables.

The lady at reception was very nice; she prepared the room beautifully. I had asked her to do this because my husband's birthday was the next day. She prepared everything with such care and attention, and then explained everything to us. That's what I call service. The room is lovely, and the bed is comfortable.

Very central small bed and breakfast in Rodenkirchen, typical of German traditions with approx 22 rooms. There is a lift to all floors. One problem to be aware of, all rooms have a bath with shower attachment but very hard for elderly folk like ourselves to climb into. Great breakfast and great rooms. We stayed in two roos over a week period and even the second room which was smaller than the first was a great stay. The shower worked great and the rooms both had great views. The service was also exceptional.

Nice hotel. Booked during a stopover for a short overnight stay. Olga, the receptionist, was very friendly and helpful. One point of attention: the shower areas could be improved. The use of a shower curtain feels outdated.

Modern, in excellent location. Very friendly staff, good breakfast. Parking is a challenge . I recommend you take one of their parking spaces in their garage. Its tricky to get out however a staff member would drive the car out for you. If you enjoy a nice walk or run around the Rhine River- you are right at the banks, and you will reach a nature preserve after 20 mins jogging.

Have been staying there since 6 years now. A very quaint but nicely located hotel in Cologne. What they lack in amenities they make up in service and smiles.

We had large, bright, beautifully decorated rooms for our two couples. These rooms overlook the pedestrian part of the city, which is quiet and pleasant. The welcome was friendly, quick, but adequate. Kettle, tea, and coffee are available, but no breakfast.

The place was clean and nice. Breakfast was great. But. We cane in a bit early to drop off our luggage cause we were going to a concert and we didn’t want to be late nor take our luggage with us. Nice hotel, stayed here for 5 weeks and still did not get bored about the people and the hotel. The staff is friendly, it's close to the train station where you easily can get in to cologne. It's on the foot of a hill, and in a nice surrounding for a little hike or jog. The only thing is that it's a little noisy outside because a road and trainrail.

There are bus stop in front of the hotel, it is also a good relaxation to take the bus to Huerth Park-shopping center nearby. Half hour with train is Koeln Hbf, much bigger shopping center. The room is big and new, and the balcony is also big. There is a towel heating pipe and air conditioning. There is a capsule coffee machine. The parking lot is free and there are many parking spaces. The nearest supermarket (rewe, dm, lindt) is about 2.5 kilometers away. The surrounding area is relatively quiet. It is suitable for driving here.

The hotel needs to be renovated, the elevators don't work, and it seems it hasn't worked for a while. Not really an airport hotel as it is quite far away from the airport still. Nice and clean hotel. There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel itself (only a vending machine) but there is quite a nice place around the corner (2 mins walk). Rooms are spacious and clean and there is free wifi.
