Nice Hotel, nice location. Looking forward to normality soon, to enjoy it properly again.

Nice location. Comfortable rooms. Looking forward to the end of SARS CoV-2, so that I can enjoy a beer overlooking the Rhein. Still waiting for the end of SARS CoV-2, but hotel was able to accommodate me, unfortunately due to virus situation, I had to get breakfast and evening meals elsewhere, but only a small inconvenience, plenty of restaurants and takeaways nearby - good quality too.

Great hotel, very friendly staff and great breakfast.

The hotel is right next to Rhein river. You can see ships passing by. The room was very nice and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a large verity. Everything was set up very nicely there.

We can't give more then 3 of 5. The 3 are only for the great , friendly staff . Rooms are not in the best conditions - they Def need a make over , the floor is horrible. They gave us two single beds even if they knew, I will be there with my fiance. The breakfast had everything you need (correct/right), but it wasn't presented very good. I wouldn't complain so much, but for the prices for the rooms...

As coud e expected from a 3 star hotel at this pricing: 3 stars. Room was nice, staff was nice, the breakfast okay. Minor flaws like the shower head not fastenable, not enough outlets for e-gear, balcony somewhat sad and in need of refurbishing, etc. etc. All in all worth it's three stars no more no less.

Cute little hotel. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is very tasteful and furnished with great attention to detail. The owner is very helpful and lovely, the breakfast is ok. The location is great and very central. All in all definitely worth a stay.

Old hotel, rooms are simply furnished but clean. Staff very friendly. This house is in need of renovation. But enough for one night. Breakfast is sufficient. You can eat well in the restaurant. I would advise against a longer stay

I can't connect my stacks system at first absolutely.I don't know what some people for 40 .- Euro room price incl. Room is still to be expected.I was friendly and exellent welcomed,my questions were kindly answered,the room was clean and ordendlich the Breakfast is sufficient and for the category, even lush (as I've experienced), I can only say everything in all at any time again !!!

It's cheap, friendly staff, clean and a nice allround hotel. Only disadvantage is thr location, it's a 15 minute walke on a very uncomfortable road to the nearest bus and the industrial terrain besides the hotel isn't very nice either.

Check in, checkout : great. The keys are provided with locker box and you receive it's code on email. Cleanliness : great. Kitchen : great. Location : not so good. Wesseling Nord is the nearer station, that being outside Köln zone. Also Google Maps do not show the stairs to cross the bridge on the way from station to to hotel.

Good priced hotel and the room was great with a shared kitchen that was good to have. Very friendly helpful host. The location is a bit out of the way so you need a car or Uber. If you come bring train Wesseling Nord is a 20 minutes walk along a straight road.

The staff were very generous, they always had a positive attitude. Great for long-term stay though you need to walk a little to get to the nearest train stop. The shared kitchen is open all the time. The rooms were quiet, so were the surroundings of the building.

Clean and large room with access to a vending machine... Big queen size bed that was very comfortable... Location felt as if we were in the middle of an industrial estate, as it is... Excellent hotel for a business stay in the area, not really for a romantic getaway.... Parking was an issue as there are not sufficient spaces for the number of rooms and would have preferred secured parking, I'm not...

There is a small kitchen for you to cook yourself, the room looks good, the shower was great. Bed was very good, but not really worth talking about, the bathroom was a bit dirty. The host was really nice and is also happy to accept criticism. On the whole a price-performance killer! 50 euros for a double bed is a great deal.

Brilliant food, quite extraordinary and not overly expensive

This hotel was great. I couldn't give them 5 stars, however, because they gave me a room with a bathroom that had a slanted ceiling over the shower. I was too tall to take a shower. ?

I stayed at the Bonprix Hotel this weekend and I liked the experience! The room was clean, the breakfast so good and the hotel staff was so nice! It is located at 15 min walk from the train station.

Decent little hotel, easy check in and out. Not a huge choice for breakfast. Don’t be put off the industrial estate we didn’t hear any noise.

Its a three star hotel in a semi industrial area that offers breakfast only. They do laundry and keep the rooms clean. Im here for work and its a good enough place to stay money wise.

Breakfast was amazing. Very pleasant personnel that really care about your needs and are sweet people! Comfy beds, nice italian shower, enough space to store our things.

Very nice place to stay. I would give it five stars, but the "small" TV only had a few channels, the breakfast (although good for a continental) was limited, and the language barrier was a small challenge. I would still recommend this place because they were friendly and not frustrated by the language barrier.

The only thing that could make stay better in the summer, would be airco in the hotelrooms. The rest is great service.

Re. Restaurant ONLY: hidden gem for some local dishes (see pictures; e.g. once a week there are very tasty potato fritters called “Reibekuchen” or “Rievkooche” op Kölsch, mouth-watering sauté potatoes or “Bratkartoffeln”). Went here as I was craving some good German dishes and was positively surprised. Also friendly service - will return again.

It's ok if you just coming late to have a sleep. Pros: - Close to railway station - Beautiful neighborhood - Free WiFi Cons: - No breakfast - Furniture in the room isn't very functional - No fridge in the room

Super nice room. Well decorated, clean, and taken care of. They gave us breakfast for free, and as we are vegan they even made it specially for us. I would totally come back.

We booked a room for 2 nights, with breakfast. Our room was on the 3th floor. It is a different place, than the restaurant/reception, but only 1-2 minutes on foot. The bed was extra comfortable, the room is quiet, looks good and clean. We get nice breakfast, what was tasty and enought. Thank You very much! :)

Amazing staff, I had ran into issues on my commute into Bruhl and got stuck on the other side of the Rhine River. Staff was helpful in making sure I had a place to stay and were extremely accommodating. Grateful for them as otherwise I might have had to sleep on the streets. 10/10 will stay here again. Great value for money.

Comfortable, clean rooms with SUPER friendly personnel and AMAZING cuisine! The "hotel" is actually several houses (spread in a small radius around the center of Brühl) which have been renovated and nicely outfitted for overnight stays. In my opinion, the best place to stay in the area around southern Köln...the hotel and restaurant is located in Brühl's pedestrian area. I stay there every week for...

The staff are wonderful, the location is ridiculously convenient. With cafes, restaurants, a shopping mall and access to the Phantasialand shuttle service very near by. You get what you pay for with the rooms, they are affordable and contain the basic essentials. The only concern I came to realise was that certain rooms are can be opened with the same key. Which raises concerns of saftey and security...

Not a bad value for buck. We had a couple of hiccups during our stay but the overall experience was still memorable. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to try the sauna. First the bad: Room was not ready when we came here, we had to wait. Not a problem but I don’t need to see my room before it’s ready. We ordered our dishes without pork meat (we even asked if that was possible weeks before we came...

The Hotel is clean and the rooms spacious. The boxspring beds are very comfortable. The Restaurant, with its atmosphere, highly recommended. The dishes are small but fine, a true gourmet. The service is very nice and attentive, reading a literally the wishes from the eyes. As a classic. To recommend only more

Big rooms with all the nececities

Nice clean rooms. Staff helped me nicely when I couldn't pay my parking ticket due to machine malfunction. Rooms are very hot though, no air-conditioning unfortunately. The beds are also not very comfortable.

Very nice hotel, close to the center. Just keep your window closed at night during the week because the start working at 7 am. We stayed in the appartement and realy liked it. Very nice to visit Phantasialand (15min away) There is an amazing Chinese restaurant (Orchidee) close by. Just go straight to the center and it's at the roundabout.

Best hotel to stay in Roddenkirchen bf area. Easy and quick accessibility to the bus and tram. Located near the Rhine river. Major shopping locations are nearby.

Beautiful, very individually decorated hotel overlooking the Rhein River. It was very clean with friendly staff. The beds are very comfortable. We had a room with a balcony with a view of the Rhein.The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the breakfast room is a stunning wintergarden. No designated parking but plenty of spaces available on the street. The Rhein is 30m away, and we had a lovely walk...

If you go to Cologne, you need to know a lot. First time staying at this hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised. The room where I slept had a jacuzzi. The interior has a great design. The hotel has a bar where you can also have a drink. The breakfast here is also very good and you can directly see the Rhine from the promenade. Very good value for money. Highly recommended....

Great breakfast and great rooms. We stayed in two roos over a week period and even the second room which was smaller than the first was a great stay. The shower worked great and the rooms both had great views. The service was also exceptional.

I had a very pleasant experience at Gertrudenhof. It is a small intimate hotel, good and friendly service and a wonderful breakfast in the morning. The room was kept immaculately clean and I truly enjoyed my stay.

Very nice staff. My room was very clean. Breakfast was ok...unfortunately you have to pay extra for cappuccino. In my opinion this should be included in the price

Quite noisy hotel. And sometimes the rooms are too hot. It was not really possible to turn the heating completely off. The staff was nice to give me a room without a middle door to not hear the neighbors. Pleasant atmosphere, view on the Rhine from the inside and from the high terrace, very friendly service, varied menu, close to facilities for mini-Golf and wide or short walks - all in all: GOOD!

We have used some place to camping car in front of the hotel. Practice when you want to visit Cologne, and we use the facilities of the hotel.

The place was clean and nice. Breakfast was great. But. We cane in a bit early to drop off our luggage cause we were going to a concert and we didn’t want to be late nor take our luggage with us. We were not allowed to put our luggage anywhere. The hotel was locked and the receptionist only spoke german.

We were allowed to stay 2 nights in this very nice small pension (4 rooms). It is located in the immediate vicinity of the Bühl train station in a small park. The rooms are clean, modern and tastefully furnished and we really liked them. The breakfast is lovingly prepared at the table and is sufficient. The host is very nice and attentive. He gave us one or the other interesting tip for our stroll...
