A hotel in a remote suburb, about 20 minutes' drive from Cologne Cathedral. The overall room experience is quite good, very nice and very quiet.

The location is not close to Cologne, but there's a bus stop not far outside the main entrance, though it's less convenient than driving. The single room is well laid out, with a relatively spacious bathroom. The breakfast tastes good.

Free parking is available, the hotel is large, the service attitude is good, the room is spacious, the facilities are complete, the shower has a large amount of water, the bedding is clean and comfortable, the breakfast is rich and delicious, and it is a very cost-effective stay experience.

Really pleased with our stay. The hotel is dog friendly (we had to pay a extra 15€ fee). The staff was really nice and when we got the the room there was a letter welcoming us and our dog plus a can of wet food and some Treats for her. Nice hotel, stayed here for 5 weeks and still did not get bored about the people and the hotel. The staff is friendly, it's close to the train station where you easily can get in to cologne. It's on the foot of a hill, and in a nice surrounding for a little hike or jog. The only thing is that it's a little noisy outside because a road and trainrail.

The room is big and new, and the balcony is also big. There is a towel heating pipe and air conditioning. There is a capsule coffee machine. The parking lot is free and there are many parking spaces. The nearest supermarket (rewe, dm, lindt) is about 2.5 kilometers away. The surrounding area is relatively quiet. It is suitable for driving here.

I stayed at the Bonprix Hotel this weekend and I liked the experience! The room was clean, the breakfast so good and the hotel staff was so nice! It is located at 15 min walk from the train station.

Its a three star hotel in a semi industrial area that offers breakfast only. They do laundry and keep the rooms clean. Im here for work and its a good enough place to stay money wise.

Comfortable Ibis budget hotel with convenient location for the motorway. Breakfast was simple but nice and staff were welcoming. The location is surrounded by car retailers and industrial type units but there are a variety of fast food and better restaurants within a mile. Rooms were a bit hot bit beds were comfortable and very clean.

It's not very good for big groups as there is no way a bus can normally get in and out of the parking lot. The entrance needs some work in that regard. There is only one lift which is also terrible for big groups This one seems to be a European thing: the shower box doesn't close all the way through the other wall, so when you have a shower you also shower the whole bathroom as well

I use this Mercure as a base when travelling to work in Germany and it's always been a welcoming, friendly and quiet place to unwind after travelling / working. I've marked the location down for the benefit of others, for me and the office I need to visit whilst in Germany it's perfect, however some may find it a little too far out of the city centre. Usual ibis which is located conveniently right at the highway intersection. It is the cheapest one in cologne usually and one of few with free spacious parking. So getting here with car is without a problem. However the nearest public transport station is half a hour walk away. Nice hotel outside of Cologne I stayed at this hotel for five nights, in this small town for a wedding. The hotel is clean, pretty and comfortable. I was very happy with the a/c in teh room...really good for Europe standards. Breakfast was awesome. I appreciated the affordable parking. Check in after hours was easy.
