Hotel Rosengarten in Zweibrucken

The staff was the unfriendliest. I checked in with a family member but my parents did already check in and even though I had my ID they didn’t want to let me in. They said I had to call my parents to open the room for me. Also they don’t have two keys for each room. During check out we asked for a water bottle for the trip and the girl at the reception said we can get that at the restaurant but it costs. We went there and asked for still water and they gave us “medium”, we said we wanted still and the girl there said that one is still water…. It’s definitely NOT. then she went get a still water bottle and needed another 5 minutes (the restaurant was practically empty, there were only two small tables occupied and still 3 waiters).
During breakfast I asked for milk without lactose cause I’m intolerant and they only had soy milk, I asked for oat-milk because I like that better and because my dad saw it there but they answered they only have soy milk and they gave me the full closed carton as if I took it from the supermarket.
The elevator was extremely dirty and very very slow! It took ages for the doors to get closed. The rooms were SO warm. Everyone I knew who slept there that night sweated (multiple rooms were booked) and the bathrooms felt like a sauna. There is no air conditioner or ventilator.
Good things were the garden, breakfast room with direct sunlight and view on the garden, parking lot and position of the hotel.
I wanted to give 2 stars because of the location but everything else really only deserves 1 star.
