Wadi Lahmy Azur Resort - Soft All-Inclusive

We stayed in this village for a week. Compared to other tourist villages that I have had the opportunity to visit on the Red Sea it is very different. The buildings are people-friendly and leave a lot of space for nature. In fact, despite being in the middle of the desert, the village is full of greenery, thanks to a rigorous water recycling system. The food is very good and digestible, different dishes are served every day. Entry into the sea is facilitated by a pier with exits into the lagoon and after the barrier. The seabed is very interesting, what is certain is that the reef has become a little ruined over the years, it is best to swim away a little from the pier to appreciate it, after which you arrive at an underwater paradise. The journey then ends near a forest of mangroves, which can be reached by leaving the beach in a few minutes. The staff is very kind and affectionate.

I recently spent four spectacular nights at Wadi Lahmy Azur Resort, and I can confidently say it was a memorable experience. While the resort is a bit distant from Marsa Alam and its airport, it’s conveniently close to Hamata Port, Qula'an, and Wadi Al Jimal, offering plenty of sightseeing opportunities.

The hotel itself is a peaceful resort, featuring two pools and a marina where guests can snorkel and swim in two beautiful lagoons as well as the open sea. The marine life is absolutely stunning; the remote location ensures a sense of purity that enhances the underwater experience. There’s a diving center for those eager to explore the depths, and the gardens are meticulously maintained, creating a serene atmosphere.

The beach is another highlight—peaceful and inviting, with access to snorkeling at your own risk outside the hotel. My room was comfortable and well-maintained, contributing to a restful stay. I appreciated the resort’s commitment to sustainability, using renewable energy for electricity and recycling wastewater for garden irrigation.

A special mention goes to the staff, who were incredibly helpful and friendly. From the reception to the bartenders and room service, everyone was attentive. The restaurant staff, led by the remarkable Mr. Wael Shams truly stood out. Their hospitality made dining a delight, especially with the delicious cuisine on offer. The oriental dishes were a highlight, and I want to extend my gratitude to the chef and Mr. Wael for the unforgettable Omm Ali and Kunafa.

Overall, Wadi Lahmy Azur offered a restful vacation in a lovely setting, and I genuinely hope to return soon. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature!

The best hotel ever. Very clean, service is the high level. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is very tasty, and everything is clean. It's not my first time in this hotel, and not last. This is very quiet hotel, the best for relax. Beautiful house reef and also very good dive center. I highly recommend.

Fantastic place and great experience for us.
Staff is very friendly and helpful and will try to help with any issue. The view is amazing, from the beach ("guarded" by bird of prey osprey on one end) you can see beautiful laguna and deep sea, plenty of birds and fish, ships on the horizon.
The restaurant offer a wide variety of food, so anyone can find something for themselves, there's a fresh fish on daily basis and awesome sweets.
Next to the restaurant on the beach there's a tent where nice older gentleman is serving Arabian coffee and shisha, there's a nice spot out there to look at the stars.
There's a well maintained garden full of flowers and trees in the area, couple of pools and bars.
Laguna is very warm and clean, great place to swim and observe marine life, the coral reef in the sea is even more stunning, and there's a diving center on site with great instructors/guides.
One can also find some shops and couple of spots to play games.
Rooms are well maintained, cleaned daily and there's always a pleasant smell when returning to the room.
Some of the facilities could use a little bit of renovation, but it's nothing discouraging.

It's a perfect spot for quiet and nice vacation, quite far away from the airport and other resorts, which for us was a big plus.
Alcohol is available but paid extra, so we saw no loud partying people behaving badly (who probably wouldn't choose this hotel), which was also very pleasant. Perfect spot for divers.

The structure is quite clean and the staff is very friendly and available to help. The manager, Sherif is really competent and keep a close eye on everything that goes on during his guests stay. He also organizes a lot of excursion and every month he organizes a beach clean of the mangroves reserve, showing his interest in preserving the environment. The manager is always available like his staff and it really improves your stay

A perfect place for a relaxing chilling time. The sea, the gardens and the pool. Just the food did not have a wide variety but it was good enough. The personnel are super nice. I forgot my watch around the pool and found it in the morning at the reception. The sea has a big natural calm pool. The corals are charming for snorkeling.

Pros: nice and considerate personel, good food, nice pools and gardens, great snorkeling straight from the pier, wonderful scuba diving spots within one hour by boat from Hamata marina. Cons: interiors will need some refreshment soon, rooms could be cleaner, expensive beer at the bar. Anyway, given the price, it's worth 5 stars.

Beautiful location with great fish and sea life in the lagoon and fringe reef. Large mangrove within walking distance. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good variety of food and they surprised me with a cake for my birthday. Highly recommended!
