We had a rest a week ago. Large well-kept hotel. Every day you can see how the gardeners work on the landscape, how the staff takes care of the territory. The rooms are large, clean, cleaning daily. No complaints at all. All amenities in the room with a balcony. Cleaning is just perfect. Good animation during the day, there are activities. Excellent Egyptian animators know how to entertain and win people over. Particular attention should be paid to water polo and aqua aerobics) try it! The guys do their job perfectly! The beach is large and clean. But entering the sea is a little "painful" because of the stones (5 meters). There are really a lot of pools. The main pool has a bar with drinks and pizza time before lunch and before dinner. The biggest advantage is the hotel staff. People are very friendly and, indeed, diligently do their job. All questions and difficulties that arise are helped to solve. It is simply captivating. The pools are cleaned daily, disinfection of bar furniture, as well as sun loungers, etc. The food is really varied. They say it's true: "you won't go hungry". Every day there's something new in the main dishes. Very good breakfasts) especially croissants. Many thanks to all the hotel staff and administration for a wonderful holiday.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely incredible! From the fresh seafood to delicious Italian pasta, everything was top-notch. And the spa was like heaven on earth. The sauna and steam room were the perfect way to unwind. I'd definitely stay here again. Usually, the animation teams aren't my thing, but the Bravo team was awesome! They were incredible dancers and really got everyone involved.

The kitchen staff were specially accommodating, my girlfriend had gluten issues, so they alway provided gluten free bread and pasta. Also they were happy to prepare something special for her if she wanted.
We had a very relaxing time on the beach and the pool and we can strongly recommend as a vacation resort.

Our stay at Gemma Resort was truly delightful. The reception staff greeted us with the warmest welcome we’ve ever experienced. Housekeeping was exceptional, thanks to Mahmoud El-Araby, who ensured our rooms were always clean and comfortable.
The food at the resort was fantastic, with a wide variety of cuisines to choose from. Pool and beach services were beyond expectations, especially with Amro at the beach who was wonderful with the kids. Mahmoud Moussa was also incredibly helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect day by the beach.
The beach at Gemma Resort, while overall good, does have some areas that could use improvement. I would rate the beach an 8/10. The entrance is a bit rocky and slimy, and the corals are unfortunately bleached and not well-maintained. While some guests enjoyed the snorkeling and saw a lot of marine life including fish, turtles, and stingrays, others noted that the coral reef needs better care.
Despite these issues, the beach still offers a beautiful setting and plenty of activities to enjoy. The beach bar is a great spot to relax with a cocktail after a day of swimming or snorkeling.

This is my second visit within 6 months the hotel is clean and quiet, staff is kind and helpful you can always see the hotel manager (Mr.Ali) around asking hotel guests about the service and how satisfied they are with their stay at the hotel,rooms are spacious with nice balconies , food is amazing their coffee is special.

The resort is right on the beach. It was amazing. The resort has all the amenities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pools were great. The animation team was amazing and the fire show was the best. They were so thoughtful. They always tried to entertain us.

Worst experience and treatment by management;
That's the second time we visit Gemma Marsa Alam, the last time was one year back. This time we noticed a significant downgrade in the level of service, especially the F&B hygiene. The open buffet was always full of flies standing on the exposed displayed food, and it was so apparent that the pest control was not considered approriately. The last night, we all had stomach problems. My wife got really sick (diarrhea, vomiting and severe weakness and stomach ace) and had to take IV saline with medication in the hotel private clinic to help stop the vomiting and be able to travel back home to Cairo. And my child (three years old) has continued diarrhea till date, 4th day and still no positive progress, and he's very sick and in stomach pain.
I went to meet the hotel GM Mr. Ayman in his office before i check out to explain to him that there is a problem that needs his attention, but unfortunately, his feedback was very unprofessional, rude and unexpected. He just said that there is no problem in his hotel and that it's only myself complaining. When he called the clinic doctor in front of me, the doctor said that he got two cases the day before complaining from diarrhea as well. I tried to explain to him that food poisoning has grades, and that hygiene issues are to be seriously looked at before it's too late. But his feedback was totally unprofessional and unexpected from a GM dealing with a customer who has a problem, he didn't even offer any kind of help or support.
I am trying to reach out the hotel owners to check the matter. The general staff are really kind and have high level of hospitality, but I am really surprised from the top management reaction.
I am a frequent traveler to Marsa Alam, and definitely my next stay won't be in this hotel.

Italian food and Egyptian service, a perfect combination for a little slice of paradise!
Impeccable service, considering every detail, and very friendly staff. Well appointed decorations, understated and elegant. Mostly Italian clientele, so nice and relaxed atmosphere.
