The paseo walk to the designer lighthouse is a good way to walk off a generous buffet breakfast (didn’t take the Cava but it was there in plenty).

Another great stay Third time we have travelled here from England and would recommmend again. Fantastic location.

Great! Modern 4* in lovely location, everything spot on for us. Of course the photos on the listing are clever, the gym and pool are much smaller irl; but still all good. Local town is lovely too, plenty of nice restaurants and a market came on Tuesday.

Rooms are nice and clean. But this place is woefully understaffed. Endless waiting time at reception. Pool frequently opens after 11 am, no idea why. Wifi is sloooow. They charge 10 euros for 40 minutes of Spa which most hotels just include for free. Mixed feelings about this.

We've been coming here for a decade and everything has been great. We haven't stopped recommending this establishment. Until today, I ended up having an unnecessary argument with the receptionist and an employee (I think they're new this season). It was a very unpleasant situation. At this point, with the unprofessional practices I've seen, I don't think I'd come back again.

Generally a very good hotel. Reception were very helpful and friendly. The room is basic, a little small, but functional. Mine had a small fridge in for drinks. It could be a little noisy in the late afternoon from the pool activities. The only negative thing is the parking. It's not too bad mostly, but on Tuesdays (June to October I think) the car parks around here are closed for the market, so there...

Superb last day of our stay in Alcossebre in this venue. Great tasty food, all very individual and colourful. We ate a la carte...beef was perfect. Good to chat with chef. Small hotel . not near sea front

This hotel at Peñiscola, Spain by the Mediterranean, is something else. It is not a luxury hotel but is a hotel with a hearth. The amount of delicious food, the sweeming pool and the girls that serve you are amazing. And the prices!! I believe, are unique for such a good service.

We stayed for 4 nights and found everything to our liking. The room was large & spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, great view over the castle, WiFi good. There was an excellent choice of food in the dining room, we had booked half board & enjoyed every meal. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay at the Agora hotel again & also recommend it to our family & friends!

Pastry at breakfast is fully industrial type. Coffee is Netscape machine. The "embutidos" are medium - low quality type. You have some fresh fruit and cereals plus fried eggs, sausages and other hot dishes. The bathroom in our room is shown some aging in the dush but still acceptable. The location of the hair dryer is unacceptable, too close to the sink tap.

Overall I would say my stay here was pretty comfy. Adults' pool was a great surprise and very nice to have, nice views and relaxed atmosphere. WiFi didn't work as expected though (it didn't even reach my room) but worked fine on the lobby. Breakfast was good and comolete. Our room was big (two king size beds side by side,which made for a huge bed) and wide corridors.

Our room (Junior Suite) was nice and very spacious. It has two large and confortable beds. The living room was also nice and has access to a small balcony with a table and two chairs. The cleanless was good and the dinning room serves the classic continental breakfast. The location of the hotel is perfect to visit Peñíscola's old town and its castle and fortifications.

The service for checking in was so helpful. Parking a challenge but the staff helped to solve any issue. The room small but the bed, sheets, towels top quality. It was a perfect stay. Would stay another time.

Free parking at back. Location near 2 beaches the oldf town and plenty of cafes for breakfast etc. Owner/manager very helpful.

Price adequate to the quality. A big plus for renovated bathrooms and room service. Room with air conditioning. Private parking for visitors. Minor problem with communication at the reception - no English language.

Very clean room, nice stuff, good location :) I really recommend this place to stay in Peniscola. A couple minutes to the beach and the most important placea to see in this city.

Good simple hotel, good prices, clean, comfortable and very friendly

Even if it has 1*, the place is confy, near to the peñiscola castle (10 minutes walking) their prices are cheap (it cost us 33€ for a night for 2 persons). It has the essentials things from a hotel, wifi and air conditioner. I would go again when i go again to peñiscola.

A somewhat tired hotel in a sad street with a terrible car park. Rooms are okay. Lots of stairs to navigate before you get to the lift. A 10-15 min walk to the beach and old Town.

Very nice place close to the beach, restaurants, bars. Very clean, good breakfast. We will definitely come back.

The staff is very nice and helpful, even if you don't really speak spanish! It's a cute Hotel, the bed was very comfortable and I liked the shower. If you like it a little more familiar and don't have a problem when it's not super modern, this is the perfect place for you.

Amazing food, if you want come to Peñiscola better get prepared to a lot of fullhouses regarding the restaurants around the village, we got lucky when asking in this one since it was the last table at 13h. We arrived at 13h and paid for the full menu, 2 cokes and 2 coffees to closure. The services was amazing, the toilets are very clean, is very family friendly.

I barely give any 5 start to a restaurant unless it deserves it and I have to say that Tio Pepe deserves it. The best paella I’ve ever ate it. It was delicious. The costumer service is really good and so are the prices. Keep on the good job

Quiet location and easy walk to town and castle.

Newly renovated and had a super breakfast and service. The beds were comfortable and one of a very few hotels in Spain with a room safe. Lifeguard at pools. Easy walking for families to an entertaining walk to the beach. Great for families great for us travelling through.

Biggest Hotel room ever! My god...what a Hotel, and room...! Highly recommendable! Biggest room i ever been to! The bedroom was huge!, with a sliding door to rest of the apartment!, wich was a couch in front of the TV, it was a small kitchen, that means a microwave, to stowes!, a kitchen-sink, and then finally a bathroom..! Hotel had nice boutique feel about it. Two swimming pools. Angela the main receptionist helped us get two day refund as we had to leave early due to family illness. We really appreciated her quick response and help.😎

I was a week with my wife and my son and the truth was that it was a success to have found this place. It is true that the closest beach is a ten minute walk away but it is the best and quietest to be with children. Also where the hotel is located is a quiet area and there is not much traffic of people. The facilities are nice and well maintained, I really appreciate the attention of all the hotel...

Hotel is well located as you can walk up the hill to the pretty old town. We parked on the street outside which was very easy and only €6.50 for the day. The hotel has quite a “corporate “ feel to it but it was functional for our 1 night stay.

Stayed here one night. Staff on reception was ever so helpful regarding the parking and given there was a festival on parking was not easy. Great location. Very comfy bed. Great hotel for the price you pay! We had a beach front room, which gives you a great sunrise in the morning. It’s close to everything, the Peniscola castle, the beach, bars, perfect location. The room is what you can expect from it: decent, nothing special, but serves it purpose. For a budget hotel I’d definitely come back here.

This is a very good hotel in a good location. The rooms are large and the dinner buffet is excellent. My only criticisms are quite minor. Firstly, I didn't think much of the breakfast. The selection of cold meats were limited. Secondly, there were only two free power sockets available in our room. One was in the bathroom and the other in an awkward place on the headrest of the bed. 1st day and 1st impressions are excellent. We informed of late arrival and when we got there they knew who we were and made us welcome. The staff all seem to know each of the guests from the minute they arrive. Ground floor reception restaurant and public area is spacious and airy. Looking forwards to the next 3 weeks of our stay.

We came here for a tapas event, and the view from the dining room is spectacular. They were definitely busy, which we understand, but the servers were extremely rude. Not only did we have to wait a long time, but we watched them serve others before us and then make rude comments to us when we asked for anything. The small amount of food we tried was decent, the presentation excellent.

There are many breakfast options. The sea view room is great. The scenery is beautiful. The facilities are complete, with both a gym and a swimming pool.

Really nice, bright, modern hotel with friendly staff who were very accommodating with our requests. The location is excellent, with stunning sea views from the terrace and some rooms. They have a real good photographer, because the rooms look much bigger at the pictures then I real life. The bed is too small for a tall person. Rooms are new rebuild and look pretty. Clean and good quality. Earplugs are recommended for the morning when other guests are leaving the hotel. Area is very good. Many bars around and view is amazing.
