Don’t get carried caught with flies on you Excellent hotel resort. Lots to do. Mostly included in the price. However, you have to pay extra for spa pool , tennis and more well known drinks. By the pool we were sometimes pestered by flies. Don’t let them stay on you as they bite!!

The view of the airport was unique and fascinating, watching the planes come and go without being disrupted was a daily entertainment! The view from our room 419 was superb, sun, ocean and pool view. On avery clear day, you can see Tenerife and La Gomera. The convenience of access to transportation, Santa Cruz and many excursions. All so close. Room had an amazing view, meals with room were great and the area is fantastic!! Only downside was the room was a bit older and the bathroom had water damage.

The food quality seems quite mediocre and the pools are somewhat chilly.

The service before the arrival was very bad, I wanted to book and the staff was very impolite, saying I could not another two separate nights to an existing booking. The WiFi connection is also horrendous, my laptop doesn't connect, something simpler would be better. Gym is quite old. Otherwise the garten is absolutely Superb and the pool a dream

No aircondition or ventilation on toilet,but beds are good, plenty of room, nice little garden and a big pool. It's close to the airport, the beach and the city of Santa Cruz and yet it's nice and quiet.

Honest review about our stay here. I veered between 3 or 4 out of 5. Negative thoughts first: Room 119A had a bad drains smell when on balcony and was also noisy. We had an amazing stay at this place, for our first holiday with our baby. The place itself is beautiful, in the midst of a botanical garden. But the staff was also truly the best I ever experienced. We have spent a wonderful weekend in a very quiet rural setting with beautiful views. The best, without a doubt, the copious and delicious breakfasts that they have prepared for us. The lady has been very kind to us at all times. The house is very beautiful, it is very well cared for. Ideal if you want to stay in an authentic Canarian house among banana trees. The house is beautiful but IMO the furniture and decoration in the rooms are outdated. The garden looked quite abandoned.

Yes the hotel was a bit older, but despite that it was clean and we loved staying here. The breakfast is okay. We would definitely come back here.

We stayed in the bernas garden apartments for two weeks without breakfast and dinner. The apartment was cleaned every day except of Thursdays and Sundays. Towels were changed twice a week and bed sheets were changed once a week. The apartment had a balcony towards the east and a terrace towards the west side. Rooms are adequate . Bit remote really do need a car . Best book car in advance as first 3 we tried were fully booked . Food in restaraunt was just about warm . Had to go in kitchen and use microwave . No resteraunts within walking distance . No footpaths on road to san pedro . Take a torch at night .

I was slightly worried about this hotel after the reviews I read. I wanted somewhere basic to stay with no frills and this gave us just that. Good little hotel for the price. Very helpful staff. You do need a car to enjoy the location at it's best. Very quiet. Bed's comfortable. kitchen reasonable with plates ,cutlery and even a corkscrew 😋. Would definitely return for longer next time.

Well-equipped holiday home with great outdoor / pool area and very nice hosts. Unfortunately quite dark, damp and dusty inside the house.

Everything as always a spectacle. 100% tranquility. Everything clean, beautiful. Comfortable and warm beds. The garden patio is wonderful. Just as a downside, the bath towels would be nice if they were a little bigger. Maggie and Álvaro and Piqué the kitten hosts 10!

Ideal accommodation, surrounded by beautiful gardens, totally quiet, with spectacular views and a very pleasant pool. The welcome was very friendly and he advised us where to eat and places to visit. What a wonderful place. The garden is amazing, calm and the owner is full of good advices. It s very central, close to Santa Cruz, but you can also drive to all the main hiking startpoint.

Very nice view, peaceful surrounded by all of the banana plants La Palma offers, the food was really nice and the price was good for what you got.

We decided to take a trip from Tenerife to La Palma. See this vulcanic island. So we looked up a nice place to stay. Hotel Hacienda De Abajo was highly recommended and it stood up for everything. Nice accommodation, friendly staff and a lovely garden and facilities. The restaurant is one of the best on the island. So we were very satisfied and happy. We will be back.
