Prinsotel Alba & Spa in Cala d'Or

We had a wonderful stay and can’t recommend it enough. The location is ideal. Just a short walk from Cala Gran beach and close to great restaurants and shops. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. Our room was spacious, modern, and had everything we needed. The pools were a highlight, especially for our little one, and we did not have that much trouble to find a sunbed. The staff were absolutely lovely: friendly, helpful, and always smiling. A special thank you to the entertainment team for keeping the kids happy and engaged all day! We also enjoyed the food, especially the lunch options by the pool. We didn’t use the spa this time, but it looked very inviting... something for next time. This hotel is perfect for families or couples looking for a relaxing beach holiday. We’ll definitely return!

Lovely hotel missing an iron The spa was fantastic and Ghania is a credit to your hotel she is friendly and helpful The food was much better than expected at the pool and will return again Perfect for young families and also couples not noisy and close to the beach and restaurants I last came 37 years ago as a 2 year old and is exactly what you want when visiting Majorca

I don’t usually leave reviews but the main thing I would like to say about the Prinsotel Alba is the amazing staff - they were all so happy, friendly and could not do enough for us. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere where all of the staff were so lovely. We arrived at the hotel and Juan welcomed us and got us checked in. He couldn’t have made us feel more welcome! We had a one bedroom suite which was situated on the top floor with a view over the main pool. It was far bigger than we had thought it would be. It was immaculate, the bed was huge and there was a large L shape sofa in the living area which was also our third bed but still left plenty of seating! The bathroom was spotless with a huge walk in shower with rainfall and handheld shower heads. The kitchen area was well equipped with a small fridge, kettle, microwave and nespresso coffee pod machine. The pool area, although busy was lovely and was very relaxing. The bar area was great - again all of the staff were so happy and friendly. Good choice of drinks and cocktails, lovely grill area which was open in the evenings and a truck that did pizza, chips and other delights throughout the day. The main restaurant never felt overly busy and was always clean and tidy - the evening meals were nice but the breakfast was amazing, plenty of choice, hot and cold and all so fresh. We ate out three times in the evening and our favourite restaurant was Fernandos cafe in the main town, it was really pretty - dressed with fairy lights and they did the best lasagne! Again the staff here were really attentive. The spa area is very relaxing and an added bonus at the hotel. The hotel is in a great location, a 5 minute walk to the beach of Cala Gran which was beautiful, a little further on from the beach is the main town and about 10 minutes from the marina. I would highly recommend staying here and could not fault the hotel at all. Thank you to all the staff, especially Juan on reception! We will be back!

Our second year staying here and it was 5* again. Rooms really clean, cleaners would come in every day & leave clean towels etc air con in the room was great. Staff at the bar around the pool are really lovely & friendly, cocktails/drinks arent too expensive. Great pool, staff in reception really nice. Will stay again next year.

Beautiful rooms, the beds are fabulous. The hotel is perfectly located for the beach and the town. The nearby restaurants are great, so many to choose from. The staff at the hotel are fantastic, so polite and always cheery and helpful. I have already booked my holiday here for next year!!

Just arrived back from a 4 night stay at this hotel and had a great stay. Rooms are lovely and spacious with lots of storage. The location is absolutely spot on, 2 minute walk to the beach and then about 7 mins to Cala Esmerelda. Really close to the centre of Cala d’or with lots of bars and food options. Pool area was great, they played music (not loud club music as I’ve seen in a previous review) and the entertainment crew were fab! One con being the sunbed situation - most sunbeds were taken by 7am however spare sunbeds were piled up to be used and there was enough room round the pool to set up yourself. Despite this we never found ourselves without a sunbed and always had a good spot right near the pool (it’s just abit annoying!). Food at the pool bar was absolutely spot on and reasonably priced. Food in the buffet was good. The buffet isn’t huge so the variety isn’t extensive however there was always plenty of options for us, hot and cold. Transfer time is about 1hr from airport in a taxi/minibus and cost 90 euro, reception booked this for us and were so helpful and the minibus itself was very luxury!! Overall would 100% return to this hotel, we had a gorgeous time!

Amazing staff, super helpful. We missed our transfer to the airport and they got us transport to the airport in time for our flight. Hotel itself is gorgeous, and the location couldn’t be more perfect. We had an amazing time here, would definitely recommend
