The Hotel Vistabella is an amazing resort in a beautiful location. The hotel staff all are friendly and helpful, making for a welcoming environment. Our suite was great with a stunning view of the water. The restaurants on-site all were delicious, offering fresh seafood. We spent a relaxing four days at this resort; would go back in a heartbeat.

My wife booked this largely due to the presence of a decent size bed but we had wonderful relaxing stay on our second to last night of our stay in southern France and Spain. I loved all but lighting to find room bad!

The hotel is ideally located next to the road which goes to Cadaquès in the quiet countryside, and less than 2 km from the sea. The building has a lot of exterior charm. We had already been there 11 years ago, but it is a shame that this hotel has aged and so have the room facilities due to lack of maintenance and modernization. Very beautiful farmhouse, lovely setting with a beautiful swimming pool. For room n14 can accommodate 3 people, very large room, bathroom very large but not practical (no heating, the bathtub with jets a little dated but it is not a spa, the photos are very misleading. And the bathtub faucet is positioned at head level! Who knows 🙄...)No shutters, window in the roof which lets in the daylight, as well...

The location is wonderful. The breakfast was great. Had a great time relaxing by the pool and at the beach next door. Also did some walking on the trail along the water and took in the views on the nearby hills. If I went back to this area I would stay again. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Had some loud neighbors and staff addressed the issue with no problems.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautifully situated hotel with its long tradition of hospitality on the Costa Brava. Beautiful place, located at the 'end' of the road (you are not allowed to go there as a tourist). Accessible for snorkeling, seen some black sea urchins. The road to it is a surprise every turn!

Nice and easy to access- Most Calas are quite difficult to access and usually involve a good hike however this Cala was beautiful and easy to access. Parking is nearby and only requires about a 5 minute walk to the water (no inclines). We were invited to stay overnight at this hotel by a friend from Cadaques. We had a most enjoyable stay, especially interesting because it coincided with the vendimia (grape harvesting), so breakfast outside was accompanied by a totally new experience for us, watching the grapes being bought in for pressing, etc. The hosts, especially Carme, Rafael and David were charming and very attentive. We absolutely loved this place! Set in the mountains between Roses and Cadeques is this hidden gem. Built in the 1300’s it’s full of charm but maintains modern comforts. Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean and air conditioned. Staff is utterly amazing, we wish we had spent more time here. In house produced olives and wine were delicious.

I loved it there. Waking up in this peaceful countryside was amazing. I enjoyed every single moment there. An additional bonus is a winery where you can try and learn about their wines that are really good. Thank you for the tour and all the conversations about wine and football!

I missed the messages from host and checked in later than 4pm. When I arrived at the place in dark I found a note left by the host which was very clear and we checked in successfully in a self-service way! Thank you so much and the room was good 😊 very impressive scenery ⛰️

We booked for two nights here for our honeymoon and it was a pretty good stay! We were slightly disappointed with the very tiny room size, it was hard to move around in. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. For a spa hotel, we were surprised to find the shower gel in the shower completely empty and no real toilet paper, only a container of tissues on the wall. I booked a Swedish massage...

The hotel is great. Rooms are tidy and spacious. We were there off season so I would like to think that that was the reason why you had no access to massages or the SPA. Note that the SPA area (just a jacuzzi and sauna) are paid and you have to book. Definitely not worth it. The “puerto” is stunning and the hotel is very well located behind the main road but with easy access to the beach.

Overall good value for money. Unfortunately the restaurant staff gave us a bad experience the last day. Came down to the restaurant 10 min early and was scolded for getting a coffee. Then waitress stated I could not come for breakfast with my wife having eaten earlier a light breakfast myself. Very unnecessary treatment! 😒

The rooftop terrace had wonderful views. We enjoyed that. Very clean throughout. The kitchen with a coffee/espresso machine, refrigerator, and drinking glasses was appreciated. Correct rooms without major luxuries. Spacious bathroom. Proper cleaning. A good option to stay a day or two. The mattress sagged a bit and the bed was made up of two singles pushed together. It has air conditioner. The biggest downside is the noise, you can hear a lot from the adjoining room.

This hotel is an outbuilding of the Porto Christo hotel where you have the gargantuan but much less luxurious breakfast. The rooms are small but comfortable it is very clean the problem is the water pipes as soon as you turn on the tap it makes a terrible noise throughout the hotel day and night... There is a valet parking service paid but convenient parking can be complicated unless you like to walk

Two star hotel in the center of El Port de la Selva. For check in you have to to Hotel Porto Cristo just opposite. I had a nice room with no outside windows (only windows on the inside). Nice bathroom with excellent shower. Tv, airco and good Wi-Fi. The building is not well isolated, you can here what's going on in the room next to yours.
