The hotel is nice, although our room wasn't exactly the same good looking as the picture but okay. The jamon at the breakfast was horrible, and some eggs would be nice to have too... Currently under renovation.

A traditional hotel in which you can imagine boutgeois families and travellers rest. Rooms are spacious with big and so comfortable beds. Bathroom with a small bath and all amenities. They serve buffet at breakfast and everything is delicious. I just miss some vegetable milk for ones who has lactose intolerance. Near to anywhere in Guadix, you can start wonder from the Roman theatre or the Cathedral...

Quite interesting, our room was perfectly symmetrical, with a toilet and aircon on both sides. However, it needed upgrading. A tad old.

The caves are very cozy and cool in summer

Spent a night here just to try cave accommodations. Not regretting it. Staff was very friendly and dinner and breakfast were excellent. Nice views to many directions from the hotel area. Rooms were good and stayed warm even with outside temperatures below zero, but the air in the room was a bit bad (too much humidity or something).

Unique historic place to stay/live just like our ancestors did.

I only stopped for tapas which was ok don't know anything else about the place..

we came in the morning at 3 there was no problem at this time to get a room. The condition was very courteous and friendly. simply great again.

Central hotel within easy walk of the cathedral etc. Restaurant at the side is very good value and nice food. Rooms are spacious and en-suites are modern with large shower cubicles. The strange thing was the lack of milk in the room- they provide a kettle, teas, coffee, sugar & sweetener but just give you 2 very small milk portions for when you arrive. Asked at reception on evening 1 for extra milk...

Two things can be highly recommended here: the full blast of AC, which, unlike in other provincial Spanish towns, is completely in the guest’s control, and the cleanliness of the rooms, with a very efficient cleaning staff. Pilgrims from UK walking the Camino Mozárabe. Nice clean large hotel room, with lots of hot water! Food in the cafe/bar is not well cooked and very disappointing.

Hubby and I stayed in this hotel. The receptionist was REALLY friendly upon entry. We were checked in fairly quickly. One can park outside the hotel (plenty free parking there)-no private though. There was no additional fee for my dog which was great! Check-in and check-out went super quick and smooth, I was allowed to stay 2 hours longer in the room also free of charge. I loved the bed and the pillows, everything was clean and simple. For a short stay perfect.

Lovely peaceful place to stay, especially welcome after the madness of the Alhambra. Guadix is not far away and worth a look. The kids loved the pool, I liked the coolness inside the cave. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful ambience, quirky get away for those wanting to experience something different. A lovely stay. We want to come back again and stay longer next time!

We have spent some magnificent days with the children and friends. El Palacete is a beauty, a typical old Andalusian house, with its interior patio and matching decoration. Everything is very clean and very cozy, in addition to how well located it is, right in the center. Thank Víctor for his availability and his attention, he is a charming person. We hope to return another time.

Spectacular place. We have been from 12/30/22 to 01/02/23. Very quiet place to relax and unwind, cozy and a beautiful cave with all the details and care. The owners are charming and offer you all possible comforts. We will repeat in summer and who has not visited it. I advise it.

A wonderful place, a very complete farmhouse, caves equipped with everything and an outdoor swimming pool, barbecue, wonderful sunsets on the porch, the children had a great time and made friends. Mario and Yolanda are sweethearts of hosts and people, it shows that they are very good people. Delighted with the site, we hope to repeat it 😉 200% recommended

First experience in a cave house: We have been a week and we could not be happier.
