We stayed for 8 nights last week, our seventh visit to Hotel Carmen. Albero and Daniel offer a friendly warm reception everything you visit. The rooms are kept immaculately clean by the staff. Balcony rooms still provide a great sea view. Martin and the team in the cafe/bar provide a good selection of food drink and Tapas. Home from home feeling with security from a 24 hour manned reception. Overall they provide a family personal touch. So unusual these days. We are already booked for next year😎 See you all then Paul @Nicki

Fabulous big room ....at the front so mountain view....great walk in shower loving it....great value great location cannot fault it.....

I have been going to Hotel Carmen (cafe only, not the hotel) for many years for a coffee and tostada as part of my daily walk, however today was disappointing. The service was awful... a long wait to be served...despite other customers coming in and being served. The waiter in particular was rude and abrupt.. the waitress a little better but disappointing service from both.. that said, it is a good little place if you just want a quick stop for drink and a snack.. I hope next time that normal service has resumed.

Room was OK for short time no kettle in room was small fridge watch what you put in it nice clean room basic had proble hot water for shower

This small hotel in La Cala is wonderful value. The bedrooms are very well appointed and the welcome from the staff is second to none.

All the staff very friendly & helpful. Cafe Carmen is good valve and again all the staff friendly. Rooms are a little sparse\basic, but excellent shower. Less than 5 minutes stroll to the playa.

everything from the minute you entered you cold feel the warmth it was a very cold windy day but the welcome from the staff on reception was so welcoming. The room was spacious exceptionally clean and warm bed vey comfortable.
