Parador de Turismo de Leon

We only visited the hotel's restaurant and we had a nice dinner. The service was great and the hotel looked very impressive at night from outside. The star of the meal was the pork. The octopus was good but not something I'd order again. I'd recommend sticking with red meat options if it is part of your diet. The desserts were nicely presented. They brought truffles with coffee/digestives which was a nice touch.

We had lunch here on the terrace which was lovely, very peaceful and , overlooking the wonderful roman bridge. A major contrast in architectural styles, externally and internally... Great service and value.. would recommend for a quite few hours. Well worth a visit, stunningly ornate and impressive.

What an unexpected stunning surprise. True 5 star hotel in a centuries old massive historical building. 10 minutes walking from all the restaurants and bars. Definitely recommend staying here if in Leon.

Outstanding hotel. Comfortable, quiet, helpful and welcoming staff. Delicious breakfast buffet. Onsite parking. The building itself is the star of the show with beautiful cloisters and the church. Highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with a few major flaws. No gym, no International TV channels. Restaurant staff were lovely but the dining room feels like a parking lot with fluorescent overhead lighting, when they could just use the wall sconces and some candles. Along with the mediocre food kinda ruined this exquisite hotel experience.

One of the finest Paradores. The restoration of the buildings is remarkable and is itself worth a trip to León. My superior double was larger than some apartments I've lived in. The room was very comfortable and I slept well.

The adjoining buildings are highlights of any visit to Spain and are standouts in León.

This Parador has exceptionally good service, a relatively rare but very welcome difference relative to other Paradores. The restaurant is very good but not outstanding. That said, they have a small but well curated wine list.

This is an amazing hotel in an historic building. Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant was quiet good.

Fabulous historic building, beautiful rooms with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms and balconies. The restaurant was very nice, as was the outdoor terrace. Great service. Private parking for the parador is behind it, on the right as you face the building.

It's an astonishing place, really interesting and full of history. It's enormous (so it's also quite cold). Anyway, it's a curious place to stay in. Service is good, rooms are OK, and the food is quite delicious!
