Hotel Tropical

The reception staff, and the staff behind the pool area are brilliant at this hotel.
Nice and friendly with us and other guests, also the rooms are clean with a good powerful shower and air conditioning.

However, I have to give such a low review on this hotel due to the abrupt aggressive little dwarf they call security. We had our Bluetooth speaker quietly playing music as we prepared to get ready for the evening, the volume was on low for respect of the other guests. Within 5 minutes we received not a knock, but a kicking to our hotel door. As I answered it the security guard began shouting at me in Spanish. I explained to him we didn’t speak Spanish, he then barged past me and shouting ‘ no music! or get the **** out.’
Someone needs to teach him a lesson in decorum, there are ways of speaking to people and that wasn’t it.
The following two nights he had to snarl at us every time we came home like he was waiting for a reaction. I would never stay at this hotel again.

The worst hotel I've ever been to. If you consider staying in this area, staying in any "hostel" would be better than here.

I found that there are some hairs in the bed clothes, towels, floor and even the wall. So I talked about it to the receptionist and he called the cleaning employee and made me bring her to my room and solve the problem. It was very embarrassing because I have never confronted cleaning employee when there is a problem in my room. I think the personnel should have solved the problem all by themselves.

The facility was old and the bed clothes was itchy.

The most serious problem was noise. The customers made noise in the corridor at 2 AM but the hotel didn't deal with it. The noise lasted quite long. I wanted to complain to the front, but there wasn't a telephone in the room. I searched the hotel's telephone number on the internet and complained by my phone. And I could listen to the conversation of next room and outside, so I slept for just 5 hours while listening to the 'rain drop ASMR' on YouTube to block the noise.

Do you think this experience worths around 200 euro?

Avoid avoid avoid ! Besides it being an absolute awful kip of a hotel, unfortunately we had neighbours beside us (walls are like paper) who were fighting the whole time morning and night! We had complained 4 times to reception about this and nothing was done. Spoke to a man called Wuan (pronounced One) who literally laughed at us when we went back down to speak to him. We don’t get away often as we have children and were really looking forward to this. Please don’t book here. Besides this situation that the staff don’t care about, it’s really really sleezy. Another couple we came with were on the other side of the room and heard it the whole time also and had found bugs in their bed. Please don’t spend your hard earned money on this. Never have I had a hotel staff member laugh in my face when it was my 4th time making a complaint. Also the “pool view room” Be warned is on a busy main road and you have to cross this to get to the pool . If I could give zero stars I would
