Hotel Vibra Algarb

Overall I feel the hotel standards to not meet a 4 star requirement.

1. My experience with the check in staff was not welcoming at all. The agent had an issue finding my booking despite me having a reference number, she then told me it had not been paid for despite me showing proof of payment. She was very unhelpful and appeared to getting some kind of pleasure making my check In experience as difficult as possible.

2. The rooms are very dated, there were cracks in the floor tiles and the shower over the bath was uncomfortable as it was difficult to move around due to the way it is positioned.

3. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable and the pillows were just as bad as the mattresses.

4. The towels were tiny not big enough to cover your body, thin and cheap.

5. The cleaner did come most days but only made the bed. The floors, shower and toilet were not cleaned.

The only nice part of the hotel was the dining room and breakfast.

I have stayed in many 4 star hotels all around Ibiza and I can say the Algarb is definitely more 3 star than 4. If they spend a little bit more money on making the rooms comfortable it will meet expectations.

Lack of variety of food for all meals. Drinks on AI is poor for the amount you pay for AI. Although rooms were cleaned daily they were not cleaned properly and bathroom was never cleaned once. Walls are paper thin so you do hear everything. Also lack of sun beds around the pool and we were out of season. Some bar staff were lovely and friendly others very rude. Drinks are never filled to the top on AI however if you are paying you get far better service and measures. Most reception staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and will give good advice.
