Great Staff, excellent location, good breakfast and good pool

Breakfast varied options and until 11am. Beds super comfortable. Quiet at night apart from when there is live music on the rooftop bar. Front line beach and walking distance to everything. Free street parking.

A wonderful trip and staying here helped this immensely we were greeted with such warmth and this continued throughout our stay. The hotel is spotless and very well cared for. Breakfast was perfect great choice of food and drinks. It is located so close to everything you need and want. All those work here were a pleasure and extremely helpful. We will be visiting again next year!!!!

A very clean and modern Hotel to stay overnight while visiting the Nijar area. The Hotel Staff were very helpful and courteous. Parking is available at a very modest Price.

I liked this hotel with its friendly helpful staff, cosy feel and original design. Nice large room with safe and fridge (not a mini bar). Good buffet breakfast. There's a supermarket nearby and it's just a short walk to restaurants and the beach. Found parking easily in the street. Only thing I found a bit strange was that there was nowhere to hang hand towels near the sink...

We stayed there for four nights and really enjoyed our stay. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. The staff is very friendly and helpful, e.g. with tipps where to go or where to eat. Stayed here for €55 a night in October. The room is large, clean and stylish. It has a large outdoor private patio area with tables and sun loungers. The ranch vibe throughout is lovely. I paid an extra €8 for buffet breakfast, which I found to be worth it (can have unlimited proper coffees plus wide variety of foods). The hotel is in a great location just outside San Jose but easily reached on foot. The building has been extended, but this is in keeping with the original house. A must for fans of spaghetti westerns! The rooms are spacious and very pretty.

A great place to stay,very clean large rooms with sit out terrace quiet but a 15 min walk into San Hose with shops,bars and restaurants and a fabulous beach, They were very good to let us stay by the pool until our flight...

Nice hotel with a warm southern vibe, very friendly staff, plentiful breakfast, and a clean pool area. Only downsides are that it's not the most convenient location to get to the beach on foot, and the shower quality and water pressure could be improved.

Stopped at this hotel for two night's while touring the area. Superb hotel staff very friendly and the food was great. As I live in vera very unlikely will stay again but would certainly visit San Jose again and hotel for a meal. After getting home and researching this place . did not realise how many times the out building's were used in filming spaghetti westerns

A magnificent surprise. A hidden gem with sea-view, we stayed in a large and beautiful room with its spacious bathroom. Definitely worth visiting and close to the local beaches. It is a small and quaint hotel and the centre, where you will find shops and restaurants, is withing walking distance.

We got a apartment as a room! It was very big, with lots of space. It was apart from the hotel, but just across the street which was good. Then in the hotel there was a balcony where you could see the beach, and go down to the beach! The meals where very good too.

Lovely location and lived the simple but stylish decor and the big bathroom. Restaurant food was pretty good but breakfast was uninspiring

We knew the way to San Jose…. We really enjoyed our stay at Vistamar. The apartment was located about 15 min walk into town but about 2 mins from a beach. The apartment was well equipped and was very spacious for 2 people. The air con worked very well and we were able to sleep comfortably.

We love this Aparthotel and return time after time. It's fabulous value for money and has views like you wouldn't believe. All the staff are absolutely lovely and so welcoming and helpful and they all seem to like each other which makes the atmosphere very friendly. We cannot find anything bad to say about it. Nice stay The facilities are good. The apartment without sea view is comfortable and clean. The beds are good but the pillows are not. Unfortunately the cafe is closed during the week and the nearest one is a 15 minute walk away. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The property was having building work carried out while we were staying as it was low season . We were offered an upgrad to a sea view room which was a beautiful view but we still had to pay the upgrade charge . You would have thought this would have been complimentary due to the room being free anyway and to compensate for the building work .

A great place to stay in San Jose. Nicely furnished rooms, and friendly staff. The breakfast is outstanding value for money. No car park, but usually not a problem on the street in the vicinity. Walking distance to the beach/harbour.

It is an ideal place to visit San José, and the beaches of Mónsul and Los Genoveses, among others. They had a small refrigerator that has been great for us, the pool was wonderful, and the area was quiet and close to the beach and restaurant area. We will repeat!!!!

Very friendly family run hotel, clean, plenty of hot water. The odd number rooms at the back are quieter than the even number rooms. Breakfast is continental style

Perfect room location, practically in front of San Jose beach, close to the port and restaurants. The room is new and clean. Rosa was also fantastic from booking to leaving the room. The only flaw is that in 5 days there was no change of towels and sheets

The accommodation is literally 10 steps from the beach of San José, one of the most beautiful towns (for my taste in the Cabo de Gata area), Rosa was super friendly with us, being available for any questions that arose and making recommendations about what to visit in the area and where to eat. We were a couple of weeks ago, we would definitely share, the apartment is amazing! First line of the beach, next to the port, super new, very nicely decorated, nothing is missing! Except a cutting board... Hehehe the girl (Rosa) a charm! The upstairs apartments have a very large terrace with a 3+2 suite and even a shower in case you want to sunbathe and cool off, a real blast!
