Cortijo El Sotillo Hotel

Stayed here for €55 a night in October. The room is large, clean and stylish. It has a large outdoor private patio area with tables and sun loungers. The ranch vibe throughout is lovely. I paid an extra €8 for buffet breakfast, which I found to be worth it (can have unlimited proper coffees plus wide variety of foods). Located just outside San Jose, 15 minute walk or very short drive into town, nice for people who want to be slightly outside the hustle and bustle.

A great place to stay,very clean large rooms with sit out terrace quiet but a 15 min walk into San Hose with shops,bars and restaurants and a fabulous beach,
They were very good to let us stay by the pool until our flight...

Nice hotel with a warm southern vibe, very friendly staff, plentiful breakfast, and a clean pool area. Only downsides are that it's not the most convenient location to get to the beach on foot, and the shower quality and water pressure could be improved.

Stopped at this hotel for two night's while touring the area. Superb hotel staff very friendly and the food was great. As I live in vera very unlikely will stay again but would certainly visit San Jose again and hotel for a meal.
After getting home and researching this place . did not realise how many times the out building's were used in filming spaghetti westerns

Great local food. Friendly service and all of this in a great ambiance for a reasonable price.

Spacious original old cortijo, beautiful old public rooms, large comfortable bedrooms with excellent big bathrooms
