Hotel Boutique Aroma de Mar in Sancti Petri

To be honest the service people and location were great but the room and services of the hotel were for a 1 star hotel max.

The room was super small and didn’t have a kettle or fridge, the air conditioning was dripping water, no reception after 10 p.m, and small cockroaches were found in the room and hallways (tbf the room was clean and it was the season of them in the area, but still it’s not ideal to find them)..

Our experience, after booking see view with Sofabed for child, expecting a 4 Star experience.

They were incapable to solve their problem with booking, and tried to make it ours. They wasted 40 Minutes of our precious time to enjoy the sunset, and make us wait at the reception standing in front of them.

Finally in the room, many bad surprises:

Only standing up you can see the sea, sitting down we had a wall to look at, and a walk path where Hotelguest can see directly into your bed when you open the window for fresh air.

The room was very sticky and unpleasantly smelling with thin air, the aircon is not adjustable. Either on or off, nor works it with the window open.
We could not sleep all night because of this.

Bathroom-is like in a disabled Hospital Bathroom. Shower directly in the room, the entire Floor was wet and slippery after taking a shower.
Shower head was broken and water splashed into all directions.

Bathroom was very sticky and humid, and the window did not open up.

The sofa bed, when pulled out was so close to the entrance door that once the child is sleeping, there is no way out, also in case of a fire very dangerous, as no other way out.

The light of the light switches is so bright at night, that if you like to sleep in a dark room it is impossible.

No towel for child no water for child, even after asking.

Sofabed was not clean opened up with dirt and strangers hair.

The mattress was comfortable but developed a lot of heat lying on it, as if sleeping on plastic protector beneath the cover.

Fridge is very noisy during the night.

If guest above uses the bathroom, a lot of noise from the pipes running down.

TV keeps stopping due to poor internet connection.

All in one we could not sleep all night, and ruined our next day, big disappointment, as we were very happy and excited to have found this lovely looking hotel on booking.

The staff is ‚trying‘ to sound friendly but has ZERO sympathy and ZERO understanding for the situation, this was the reason that we canceled breakfast and lunch as we did not feel welcomed at all.
