Ilunion Caleta Park

Hotel Ilunion Caleta Park, with its location on the beachfront and near the green park, is an ideal place for a quiet summer staycation. The facility is suitable for people with physical disabilities as all areas are wheelchair accessible, including the outdoor pool and parking lot. The parking is paid and includes slots for EV.

The rooms are spacious, cozy, clean, and well-maintained. There is an option for half-board, which offers a variety of cold and hot meals, desserts, fruits and drinks. All dishes are fresh and delicious.

The hotel surroundings are quiet, with plenty of dining options and tapas bars nearby. The staff is awesome and professional.

Wow, what a place. The hotel reception & bar has had a refurb three days ago so not only does it smell good it looks stunning.
The location is unreal. Everything is in walking distance and the most incredible costal path that goes for miles starts here. It’s a small place close to the busier areas by taxi if needed. The hotel staff are very efficient and speak incredible English. The beds are comfy, pillows especially. We chose a sea view which is worth its weight in gold for the view. Everything is super clean and tidy. The coffee is superb!
My husband and I will defiantly return for a weekend break again.
On the beach are plenty of restaurants and around the corner in the main area are bakery’s and food places you can’t no stop at.
Highly recommend this hotel and location!

The hotel is based overlooking a lovely bay, 35mins from girona airport by taxi.
There are a handful of restaurants very close by but more choice in the town of San Feliu de Guixols which is an easy 15-20min walk away. S'agaro also has some restaurants and a supermarket about a 10min walk away but these are inland on a busy road.
Platja D'Ora is a 10min drive or 15min on the bus from s'agaro and you'll find lots of restaurants, shops including department stores etc. Very built up but worth one visit if you're looking for something more lively. Also has a great beach with line of nice looking bars and restaurants facing the sea.
We chose a sea view room at hotel and the view is stunning from all of them. We were right in the middle of the middle floor.
Rooms are basic but functional and clean.
Beds were two singles pushed together which was fine. Firm but comfortable enough.
Bathroom basic, little old but clean.
Unfortunately the walls in the hotel are paper thin and you can hear anything and everything move in nearby rooms. This included the cleaners who appear to start before 8am. This is my major issue with the hotel as it does impact a lie in. Thankfully was quiet at night.
The hotel has a pool but we only used once as beach is so close. The pool is clean and tidy but doesn't get much sun so is pretty cold.
Service is very efficient and friendly. Staff responded exceptionally well to our Air conditioning having a malfunction and sent for help straight away who resolved it.
We had a drink or two at the hotel every night either before or after we went for dinner (or both) and was served by Marcelo who was incredibly friendly and efficient. Made us feel very welcome. Drinks are priced reasonably.
We had breakfast at the hotel most mornings which if you book in advance (night before at least) it is ten euros per person. There is alot of choice. Food quality was good but the hotter food is generally left to get cold which is a shame. We did not eat lunch or dinner so cannot comment on that. We didn't experience any issues with the restaurant but it wasn't too busy.
One last thing which is not the hotels fault is that there is some construction work right next door. During the weekdays it was distracting when sitting out for breakfast but as we left for the beach everyday it didn't concern us. It's a shame this is going on but every hotel was constructed once upon a time.
Overall for the price we paid we were very satisfied. Would we return? Probably, if we could have a top floor end room with less rooms connected to mitigate the noise issue (and once nearby construction is finished).

Basic rooms but everything was there that we needed. Breakfast was great and enough variation for 4 days.

Overall great hotel with friendly staf, perfect for a short sun trip in the off-season.

Comfortable hotel with air conditioned rooms, swimming pool, decent food + drink options, and nice views from balconies (at least for the ocean side rooms, cannot speak for others).

We had a really great stay at Ilunion Caleta Park! The location is perfect, right on the beach, and the rooms are clean, fresh and comfortable. Breakfast was good too. It is relaxing and peaceful with a lovely atmosphere.
The staff were friendly and always helpful, a special big thank you to Sergeo and Anna at reception who went above and beyond to help me with something, i am so grateful for their kindness! I will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Staff was very nice and always helpful. Room/Hotel was chic and always clean. Cleaning staff was very thorough. Compliment and a big thanks to the cook(s), which created us some veggie options, when there were none on the menu (on lunch days without buffet). At this point we would like to give some feedback for the menu/buffet in general: It would be better, if e.g., eggs and bacon be served on separated plates, so veggies can take a plate of egg too without meat :-) Or add some tongs next to them, so we can “steal” the veggie stuff from those plates :-D
All in all, we had a very pleasant time at the hotel and would definitely recommend it. Thank you for that!
