After my stay, I did not feel very happy with the hotel. It's apparently a 4 star hotel although it doesn't give that sensation. Good location and a short walk to the beach. Restaurant is busy, plenty of food but hot food is lukewarm at best. Long queues for the one coffee machine the mornings, over 12 people at times. Nice pool area. Bar is expensive

We went there for a couple of nights to relax and it was amazing. Getting a room with a beachside balcony view is worth it! The views from our balcony were great! Make sure to catch the sunrise! The breakfast is also great and the staff was always very helpful. Location is the best! 100% recommend staying here.

Quirky, past its heyday type of hotel, but very nice and we enjoyed our stay. Would return. Lost a star by charging to park in their decades old carpark that has sufficient spaces for a full hotel. No street parking available ( or even necessary).

This hotel is tired and in desperate need of refurbishment. However, it is very clean, the breakfast is great, the beds very comfortable and all of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The €9 a night parking charge is annoying and off putting, just put the rate up by €5 and include car parking please

I stayed in this hotel last week on Thursday night. The staff were all so kind, I was even treated to a private breakfast from who I think was he hotel Manager. The hotel grounds were beautiful, the building was super cute. I 100% recommend a visit.

Hotel very close to the beach, less than 5 minutes from the center. The facilities are a bit old but for a night or two they are more than affordable. The treatment was excellent, they cared about our comfort at all times and offered us a beach umbrella and hair dryer. Our room overlooked the interior terrace and there was nothing to be heard, all very quiet.

Very correct 1 star hotel. Perfect location. Attention from the girl at the reception very good. Small room but everything very clean. It had a balcony with a mosquito net and a fan, which made our stay more comfortable. In short, a very comfortable and very clean 1-star hotel for a short stay.

Fantastic service by pleasant people dealing with adverse weather conditions. The house red and house white arrived in custom bottles, a nice touch. The food: mussels, sea bass fish, calamari and steak where all excellent. The desserts raspberry sorbet and Sant Feliu pastry - superb. In summary highly recommended.

It was an excellent dining experience, very friendly service, has a menu of the night and special menu. I highly recommend their bacalau capaccio, lobster paella and grilled mussels, all super delicious, especially the flavoring of the paella, u can taste the lobster flavor in it! Highly recommend

Nice and quiet, 15-20 min walking away from city center, restaurants, nightlife, etc. The rooms that overlooked the swimming pool are very quiet, the ones of the other side a bit less. Good breakfast buffet. Nice swimming pool with grass to sunbathe. Free WiFi. The only negative thing would be the bed, which was old and squeaked loudly every time we moved during the night, waking us up.

Hotel Aromar is in the best location, a few steps away from the beach in a quiet part of Costa Brava. Our team really enjoyed their time there as we hosted a summit at the hotel. The staff were always friendly and were able to assist us with any requirements that we had. I hope to visit again some time in the future with my family.

This hotel is the perfect spot in on the beach and in the middle of Platja d'Aro. The staff is friendly and we had a great time. The rooms are cleaned every day and some rooms have coffee pod machines in. Their breakfast buffet is also worth every penny.

We had an amazing stay here with my 8-month old daughter. The location is perfect , the staff is very helpful and the food and drink was amazing! I am gluten intolerant so I really appreciated the allergy labels at the breakfast buffet as well as the gluten free bread, muffins and crackers offered . I hope to stay there again! Fabulous Hotel! We come every year with family, location excellent, food very good and Entertainment team is fantastic! With aqua gym, inflatables slides and activities for kids. Today it was Minions Theme Party day and kids had a delicious snack surprise.

Totally underrated. A perfect location. In the centre of shop streets, a 3 minute walk to the beach. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Dog friendly! This is a fabulous, friendly hotel very close to the sea front. The hotel is quite small and very homely. The communal areas are very nice. The pool area is quite small but was not busy while we were there. The breakfasts are excellent, the breakfast area is large with seating available outside in the lovely courtyard. Lovely hotel and spa! We used the Spa during the afternoon and then ate at the restaurant afterwards, had the €16 menu and it was delicious! Mar at the reception was very helpful and her English was fantastic, a credit to the Hotel! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing afternoon on a day with bad weather 😄

We often come to this hotel.. I regret having contacted the buffet meal It was downgraded in quality. Especially the meat. No more branded yogurt. Damage. We are going back in August but it may be the last time. We will see.

This is in theory a ‘simple old-school Spanish hotel’. It’s basically all about its terrace, which is lovely - possibly the best location and best view in Platje D’Aro, shaded by pines and overlooking a lovely rocky cove at the quiet end of the town. It's amazing how a butler at the breakfast buffet can ruin the overall impression of a place like this. Everything from the receptionists, activity leaders, waiters and lifeguards were fantastic throughout our stay. Very beautiful aparthotel, large and clean apartments very well equipped. Surrounded by trees, with a large pool and very close to the beach. Good stay overall. Excellent beachfront location near a calm cove, if you book directly parking is only 6 euro. Breakfast is excellent, with a patio directly across from the ocean to eat at and the pool is warm. Very nice rooftop deck as well although as of this writing in May 2023 it appears under renovation.
