Radisson Collection Hotel, Magdalena Plaza Sevilla

My wife and I spent four nights at the Radisson Collection Hotel in Magdalena Plaza Sevilla, and our experience was a mix of highs and lows. The hotel's location is fantastic, being close to almost everything you can visit in Sevilla, which made it very convenient for sightseeing.

The room we booked was spacious, and the bathroom was adequately sized for a couple. The shower was incredibly relaxing, probably the best I have ever tried in my life, which added a touch of luxury to our stay.

However, the hotel had some minor flaws. The breakfast was mediocre, not due to the variety of choices available, but because the coffee section was limited to a machine, and the staff did not approach guests to take special orders like cappuccinos or macchiatos. Additionally, for alternatives to milk, you had to ask the staff directly.

We were also unlucky enough to experience an electric outage that lasted almost eight hours, from 15:00 to 23:00. The staff was nice enough to compensate us with a few drinks at the lobby bar, which we appreciated. However, we noticed that the staff seemed a bit junior or not fully trained. While this is not a problem per se, they should always be assisted by senior management to ensure a smooth service.

Considering we spent over 400 euros per night, we expected a different kind of experience. The final judgment is that the hotel is mediocre for the price paid. With some improvements in staff training and breakfast service, the Radisson Collection Hotel could offer a much better experience.
