Absolutely excellent hotel for the price in high season. Great breakfast, beach towels provided as well as daily cleaning. Very old school classic Spanish hotel which means it’s slightly dated but has some brilliant touches. Other reviews mentioned you can hear people walking above you etc, but it didn’t bother me, maybe bring some earplugs if that might be an issue. Location is fantastic with access to the station, airport bus and the old town.

This hotel was outstanding considering a 1 star!
Staff were amazing especially the girl in the breakfast room and Eduardo on reception.
Breakfast was so great ,very pleased we stayed at this hotel.

The place is ok. It looks very old but we stayed 1 night. So far AC was great, washroom little tight but nice and clean. Breakfast saloon was a little cold in ambience.

I had a really pleasant stay here at Hotel El Cid. The room, although compact, had most things you could need. I think a small fridge to keep drinks cool in the heat would have been a nice addition. There were also no tea or coffee making facilities. The bed was large and comfortable though and there was air conditioning, so I had a good sleep each night. The breakfast was really good. They had a variety of choices including cava, if you got there early enough. The swimming pool was quite cold but they had lots of sun loungers to relax on if cold pools aren't for you. The best surprise was the welcome drink at another hotel down the road on their rooftop. The hotel is also very LGBT friendly.

The rooms are perfectly adequate and the service is fine. There is one reason I rate this hotel five stars and it's the price. They serve a decent breakfast, they are one of the few hotels that have a decent sized pool & location can't be beat ....if you're not a snob when it comes to hotels, then choose El Cid.

An impromptu night in Sitges, we decided to stay at the El Cid Hotel. It was a great choice. Great location, excellent facilities, super-comfortable bed, and newly renovated bathroom. A super-full breakfast is included in the price. We'll definitely be back.

Five stars are not enough for such a great place. Friendly and accommodating staff, good location, courtesy welcome drinks, breakfast with gluten-free options, pool, beach towels, super nice welcome hall for you to sit and relax(looks more like a museum, in fact). Train station is at walking distance, as well as the beach. There is a coin laundry right across the street... you just can't beat the value of this place.
Richard and César made us feel right at home and helped us out even after our stay had finished. I will for sure come back and recommend 100%

A basic very clean hotel with lovely staff,,breakfast great.
Pool needs new sunbeds and I would love there to have been tables and chairs outside.

It is sparkling clean. Very good value for 1 star hotel. It is close to railway station.
The staff are very friendly and they all can speak fluent English.
I arrived early at 10 am in the morning after a 21-hour flight. They have a facility for me to take a shower and get changed and left my luggage while I am waiting for check-in, which is about 2pm.
A large range of choice for breakfast. The breakfast is serving from 8am to 12pm.
I booked in the room with the pool view which is the excellent choice as I can dry all my towel and swimwear in the balcony.
