Five stars are not enough for such a great place. Friendly and accommodating staff, good location, courtesy welcome drinks, breakfast with gluten-free options, pool, beach towels, super nice welcome hall for you to sit and relax(looks more like a museum, in fact). Train station is at walking distance, as well as the beach. There is a coin laundry right across the street... you just can't beat the value of this place.
Richard and César made us feel right at home and helped us out even after our stay had finished. I will for sure come back and recommend 100%

A basic very clean hotel with lovely staff,,breakfast great.
Pool needs new sunbeds and I would love there to have been tables and chairs outside.

It is sparkling clean. Very good value for 1 star hotel. It is close to railway station.
The staff are very friendly and they all can speak fluent English.
I arrived early at 10 am in the morning after a 21-hour flight. They have a facility for me to take a shower and get changed and left my luggage while I am waiting for check-in, which is about 2pm.
A large range of choice for breakfast. The breakfast is serving from 8am to 12pm.
I booked in the room with the pool view which is the excellent choice as I can dry all my towel and swimwear in the balcony.
The staff are very friendly and they all can speak fluent English.

Loved this place. Location is great. Tons of gay men staying here Breakfast was good. Night staff were friendly and helpful when I arrived home at 5 am. Room was comfortable. Enjoyed having the balcony Pool was amazing. Will return.

I don't want to shout too loudly about this hotel, for fear it will become too popular.
Stayed here with a friend to celebrate another's birthday.
The hotel is ideally located for both the town and the beach. It is clean and comfy and the staff are all very friendly. The shower is amazing!
We stayed for four nights and would definitely book if we go back to Sitges. Really great selection for breakfast and it's on later for those who go out partying :-). Really great little place, no idea why it has a 1 star rating.

Fairly priced and in an excellent location, yes it may be a little dated, but the team make up for it by being super friendly and helpful. This really does make a difference to your visit. If you are looking to stay centrally, this is a good bet, but as it's economical, it does get booked up very quickly. The rooms are basic , but lovely to have a balcony.

The positive reviews on google and booking, and guests claiming it's definitely better than a 1-star hotel made me book a room for my pregnant wife, toddler and me. We were placed on the third floor - the elevator was broken - in a room with broken bathroom light and broken AC. I had to ask 4x until someone came to try fix the AC with no success. In addition the room was barely sound isolated and parties happened right outside. We tried to check out the same night but we were not offered a refund. After a sleepless noisy and hot night we carried all our suitcases, stroller, etc. back downstairs and happily checked into another hotel.

Great stay at El Cid. Very central for walking in Sitges, close to railway station but far enough away from any noise in town. Loved the homely feel, and the breakfast was fabulous! Great, budget option for a stay in Sitges.

I'm very satisfied with my stay here.
The staff is really nice and friendly.
Location is perfect.
The breakfast offered a wide variety of foods, for everyone's taste.
If I ever return to Sitges I'll definitely stay here again.

Great hotel for the affordable price. The breakfast was delicious and sparkling wine was served too. I would like to see rooms more spacious and better soundproofed, but even without that I had a good experience here
