What a gem! Hotel Tres Mares in Tarifa is absolutely fantastic. The food was spot on, the service was brilliant, and the accommodation was just what we needed, clean, comfortable, and with brand new air con, which was much appreciated in the heat.
The gardens and grounds are beautiful, really peaceful and well looked after, and yet you’re only a two-minute walk from the beach. It somehow manages to feel like a secluded retreat while being right near everything you need.
Parking was easy, and the price? Incredible value for what you get. We genuinely loved it here and we’ll definitely be back soon.

The photos of the room look better than the reality. The garden is beautiful. We stayed for two nights, but for a longer stay it’s better to find another place

Very well located at 10mn from Tarifa, the hotel is a real peaceful warm and resourcing place. Not only that the food at the restaurant is delicious. We'll definitely revisit again.

Stayed for one night. Room was a bit small and no view but all worked great. Bathroom is beautiful. The swimming pool area, cafeteria and breakfast was great!

Fantastic little gem close to the beach in Tarifa. Garden is absolutely fantastic, rooms are basic but nice, but the best of the best is the human factor - service was exquisite from beginning to end, including even maintenance people. Special shout-out to Carmen that's in charge of the pool area - she is very nice, guest oriented and can't do enough to please you. Breakfast is also quite nice and a little detail, which for me was huge, is the music - absolutely perfectly timed and in accordance to the time of the day - made the stay absolutely perfect. Thank you so much and see you soon!!

Huge disappointment.
I booked the Tres Mares Hotel for my family with our pet for two nights but we had to leave one night early. Below I will explain why this happened. In the morning when we were about to have breakfast, the person from the restaurant started yelling at my husband and my pet that pets were not allowed walking here. Our pet was on a leash per hotel rules and did nothing. My husband just headed to the restaurant patio with him. My husband does not speak Spanish and asked this person to explain what happened in English. The person responded by impolitely saying that he did not speak English. I tried to settle the incident and asked her to bring me black tea because there was none on the buffet table. She rudely refused me. When I asked her name, she refused to give her name. It seemed very rude and we were shocked at this low level of service. My husband said it was impossible to stay in this hotel and we should leave immediately. I went to the front desk and complained to them about this situation. The receptionist gave me the name of the person from the restaurant. Her name is Sarah. After that we left this hotel.
I paid at check-in for two nights plus an additional 20 euros for our pet, and in the end we got a hotel that is not friendly to animals, lost breakfast, got a spoiled mood and generally still in shock.

The place is very nice, garden very cute. If you get a room on a groud floor it will be dark as there is a small window. Overall rooms are basic, no fridge. There is an exyra cost of 5 euro for a baby crib.
The breakfast very basic but fresh. Dinner average and a bit over priced for the quality. There is a waitress Carmen who is very nice and sweet but Sara who works in the restaurant is horrible, with an obvious attitude towards any request you make, correcting your Spanish too if you make a mistake. The manager didn't seem to take the complain seriously.

Nice hotel with a really cool tropical/jungle vibe. Stayed here one night but thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast was a buffet and they ran out of some stuff without restocking which was a shame but still pretty good. Especially considering how cheap it was. Rooms were clean and comfy and the lady at reception was very helpful.
