Great location, friendly and considerate staff. I was travelling by bike and they let me keep it in the room, also giving me a ground floor room to make it easier. The pool looked nice, but i didn't get to use it due to opening times and me only staying one night.

Nice location, close to the beach, far away from the busy area. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is quite basic, not much attention to details. The pool area could use some new sunbeds and some rough cleaning of the pool walls. The pillows are unusable, all clogged.

The rooms are gorgeous and the food is good. The service at the restaurant isn't impressive, though. Very inefficient. There's a pool on the ground floor, a tiny infinity pool on the highest floor, and a decent sized jacuzzi. The hotel has a beach that is walking distance right behind, so well located.

The hotel was really nice and very relaxing. The hotel is situated outside of the town it's self, but the walk is fine and a taxi back was 7euros, so the distance is no problem. I would definitely go back.

To fellow birdwatchers, this hotel is in prime location, near major birdwatching sites of the area. The rooms are lovely, and with a bit of luck you may even have a view of Africa! Overall, a great experience. Despite the hotels location on the side of the highway, you don’t hear any noise and the gardens are beautiful and lush. The restaurant was lovely. The rooms are simple, but clean. This is a good three star hotel.

Blissful, idyllic, clean, best food. Absolute heaven. I cannot praise this hotel enough, we stayed in a bungalow and it was great, the food in the restaurant was outstanding, we ate there twice a day, The staff was amazing, the cleaners, reception, all waiting staff, especially Isabel at the restaurant. I was not staying at the hotel, but was trying to have a lunch at the restaurant. Everything was great, but during “siesta” time they only serve cakes and drinks. I believe that it would be great at least to offer starters like cheese, jamon, olives etc. So if you hungry and it is “siesta” time, then you need to look for another place. We recently stayed at this hotel on our stop in Tarifa, and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel's restaurant outlets were great. The pool area was stunning, providing a perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff were incredibly attentive and worked tirelessly to ensure our stay was perfect. Great stay at La Residencia! Rooms are light, comfy and sound proof. All the comunal spaces are really lovely - the roof terrace, main bar and restaurant are all great spaces. Superb breakfast. Incredible hotel tucked away in the corner of tears by the harbour. Excellent services with a roof top swimming pool and a spa circuit in the basement. Super clean rooms and well equipped. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in Spain with loads of healthy options, fresh food and even champagne.

There is a lot to like about this hotel. Clean, pleasing decor and excellent lighting in the rooms and hallways. The dining room and bar are airy, bright and spacious areas. The staff we dealt with were helpful, efficient and kind. We had massages. They were ok.

The accommodations of the Cordoniz are very quaint. Nevertheless, unless you have a car, you are entirely dependant on taxis to get around.

We spent 3 nights there with my family. The room are really small but neat. It's a well maintained hotel but clearly not a 3 star. The hotel is very, very clean. The staff are all attentive and professional, and there are a lot of staff too so the service is very good. Great pool area and a short walk over the road to the beach. I would recommend choosing one of the bungalows as the rooms in the main building can be noisy. The food is excellent - lots of locals eat there and it is a local favourite.

I've come here for more than 20 years now with my family. The staff is always super friendly and the food is really good. Dining outside in the warm evenings is the best.

We have just had a lovely stay at La Codorniz. We stayed in a bungalow which was very clean and comfortable. The en suite had a great shower with plenty of hot water. Nice hotel with a really cool tropical/jungle vibe. Stayed here one night but thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast was a buffet and they ran out of some stuff without restocking which was a shame but still pretty good. Especially considering how cheap it was. We stayed in the Shayla room and had a hard time laying down the bed. They cannot afford to have a bed in that hotel quality that as soon as you move, the bed frame squeaks a lot. For the rest, magnificent situation and beautiful decoration.

Very well-kept place, on a small square in the nightlife of Tarifa. Despite the nightlife, the noises in the apartment are minimal. The apartment is equipped with every comfort, from the courtesy set to a water softener. Small flaw: reception closed until 10:00 in the morning.

Apart from Basil Fawlty on reception, ( English will know this character) the hotel is great, no fuss, restaurant staff are great, breakfast was good had everything. Secure parking. Rooms immaculate. It is not walking distance from the old town so be prepared to drive. The is however a great restaurant 3 minutes walk at the end of the drive. Or use the hotel.

This hotel is perfect for excursions! Just 10 minutes by car for Tarifa center. The hotel has been refreshed after covid, but our room was a bit small and old, but also correct for one night. A family run business, decent place for those who wants to spend some days for relaxation. 1 km to the ocean beach Los Lance's, 8 minutes drive to the city center of Tarifa. Close to the places famous for kytes and windsurfing. The rooms are daily cleaned. You can have breakfast for 5.20 euros. Decent prices compared to the other hotels and camping around.

Location is perfect, there's a full equipped kitchen available, the Wi-Fi hardly works, it's really noisy but rooms are clean and spacious. Theres no reception, you have to check in at the hostel across the street which we didn't mind. Good value for money

We have just spent three wonderful days at Tarifa staying in this very nice hotel. The Asian touch and the beautiful weather makes you feel like being far, far away. The hosts are super supportive and welcoming. On Saturday was Salsa night and on Sunday Tango which is also frequented by locals which makes it very enjoyable. An awesome stay in a green oasis, located in the walking distance from famous Valdevaqueros beach. The pool is a great place to hide from the wind if surfing is not your thing.

We booked a quadruple room, it was very nice and large with a lovely terrace outside. 10 mins walk to the most amazing beach that has bars, snacks bars and restaurants. I can't wait to visit again. Only gave it 4 stars at found the bed and pillow too hard and woke up sore.

Not a bad little hotel, they have five rooms and each one is different. The staff is friendly and helpful, we stayed in the loft which is big but has no actual clear window. All the windows are frosted glass and the outside balcony is a bamboo encased 2 meter space.
