Can get noisy during the day due to highway bridge

Went there for the first time and was not dissapointted. The staff was polite (by finnish standards) and the had everything a person could ask in one stay. We had a cottage for us six. Two adults and four kids. The cottage had toilet, tv, gas grill (gas paid extra by the day), fridge, microwaveowen and dish set. At the camp site there were four sauna's. Three electric and one smokesauna. The lake had pure and clear water. The reception served food and drinks. You can rent a SUP board or go to row, play pool or play some minigolf. There are pedal cars, trampoline and much more for kids and toys and books for the bored ones. This place is 2km from the city centre. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a summer getaway. Allmost every pic is apparently too big for here, sorry

Beautiful place, an island in the middle of the clean lake Ruotsalainen. Camping spots are on the grass or the gravel and separated with hedgerows which gives privacy , too. You can get a spot with own lakeside terrace if you’re willing to pay a little extra. It’s worth it. The staff is very friendly and sanitary facilities are tidy. There’s a small restaurant in the area where you can buy fast food, icecream, drinks, breakfast etc. You can also rent a bike, pedal car, kayak, sup board, yard games if interested or play mini golf. Heinola town centre is near, as well as padel yards and an outside gym. Notice that road E75 goes really near so the noice of the traffic is loud 24/7. There is also quite a number of seagulls screaming from the early morning to the late night - and pooping, too.

Very cozy, quite small camping site. Caravan spots are great - they are surrounded by nature. We mostly spend nights outside of camping/caravan sites, but during every trip there’s at least one stop in a camping site. This camping has a sauna designed by a Japanese architect and it’s very beautiful although a bit worn. Perhaps that makes it even more beautiful. This was the icing on the cake during our stay. The views to the bridge are beautiful during night time and sunset. But some noise does come from the bridge, it’s quieter during night time. Friendly staff. Also: the area has signs about dog walking not allowed in the camping area. I think this must be something left behind from the old owner. We heard a new owner has had the place for one year now and at least the employee in the reception was very dog friendly, and we were allowed to bring our small dog inside the restaurant/reception building. There’s also a track to walk your dog just outside the camping area, if you want to do a proper walk.

Amazing camping!! Our cottage was way bigger than it seemed at the photos. Also, it was super clean and the staff was very friendly :)

Nice camping place. Stayed overnight. Pets allowed. Room was clean. Swimming beach, BBQ plsces, mini golf all are within the compound. Shops and restaurants are also within few kilometres distance. Possible to use sauna, rent a paddle boat or bicycle. Have enough space for caravan and tent if not willing to stay in cottage. Price is ok. Staffs were very friendly.

Good place for over night stand, but I don't like to stay there longer
