This is a really good getaway place. We were able to relax well, the Lake was really near the Spa so that was nice, their Höyry sauna is the best thing for me ♥️

A lovely, family-owned spa. Excellent views to the river (that looks like a large lake). Very friendly staff and few visitors (at least day-time on Wednesday and Thursday, when we visited). Just one wish: In the spa area there's a lot of natural light and moisture, so it feels totally useless that the plants there are plastic - there are so many real plants that would thrive there.

A blessed place with one of the best view of Finland. The Hotel is a jewel, although the rooms are not much fancy but as a unit with rich breakfast, nice staff - works out splendid

Great bat, very friendly service and good rooms. The sauna and spa could be better. Had a nice and spotless room with a view on the park. The dinner: fresh salmon the best I ever had beside we watched over the frozen lake. Astonishing view.

Quiet and clean place. Breakfast in the fridge and coffee maker ready. Close to the shooting range, which is a good thing.

This was a bit difficult to evaluate due to its specificity. In principle, four stars would also be justified, but based on our own experience, we rate it, so yes, it deserves five stars based on this visit. The small hotel was very cozy, the service excellent, a gluten-free breakfast was available on request, it was really quiet, a small playground for the children.

Same price for rooms of different sizes. 2 single beds and TV Does not work (cord disconnected !!!) 2to room insufficient. Toilet + shower really small compare double room for 2 people etc. No service in the evening (bar, food) to the center 6km. Breakfast was good and the bistro was nice

Very comfortable accommodation for the price. Due to the corona situation, I have not experienced the inn’s restaurant services. Sound insulation between rooms is low. I wake up in the morning to the alarm clock in the next room.

Really beautiful location, nice staff, probably the neatest cooking and shower facilities we have come upon touring Savo-Karjala. 👍 The small cottages are quite run-down, but that is going to be taken care of.

Nice camping place. Stayed overnight. Pets allowed. Room was clean. Swimming beach, BBQ plsces, mini golf all are within the compound. Shops and restaurants are also within few kilometres distance. Possible to use sauna, rent a paddle boat or bicycle. Have enough space for caravan and tent if not willing to stay in cottage. Price is ok. Staffs were very friendly.

I stayed in the AuroraHut at Aurantola for 3 nights. I needed a place to unwind my mind and reconnect with nature. I couldn't have chosen a better place. The glass igloo is in front of a stunning lake, far aside all the other cottages. So, no noise and distractions other than ducks swimming in front of you and wookpeekers doing their job. At some point you can feel like Monet in front of the Rouen...

Picturesque interior, quiet location. I recommend snorkeling around Rajasaari, great scenery! The hosts are friendly. The sauna is really nice. Loft sleeping area hot.

The place is beautifully located on the shore of a clear lake, and both rooms and cabins are available for accommodation. The beach sauna for rent was a really pleasant experience and so was the breakfast in the main building. We offer canoes and paddle boards, and the scenery is great. The host is also really friendly. There is also a separate area for caravanners and the possibility to eat on site...

Great place. The cottages on the island are well equipped, each has a sauna, you can make a barbecue as well as go boating on the lake. The space between the houses is so large that the neighbors do not interfere. Remember to bring your bed linen, otherwise you can rent a full set for € 7.

Lovely place to stay at a fantastic location with amazing views and a remarkable staff that was always kind, welcoming, and wonderful to chat with. Gym had all necessary equipment. Breakfast was complete and fantastic. It is a 70's building, but that doesn't stop it from being a great place to stay at. Second time here, and will come back.

Nice to have the gym and sauna facilities. Breakfast was good and the staff spoke perfect English. Plenty of parking. We got to walk on a Frozen lake which was awesome

Being a hotel from the 70's, this is place is pretty decent - not great, not terrible. Biggest pluses being the location, the view and the swimming pool with a sauna. Breakfast is ok and the staff is friendly and helpful! The gym is a plus as well. The rooms are a bit outdated and slightly stuffy, but not something you can't cope with, unless you're used to 5-star bling bling hotels.

I have been here many times durin past decates. It is actually nice that it havnt change so much. Really retro.

A real 70's vintage feel gives the famous Vääksy hotel a peculiar charm. It has a well-stocked bar and offers a good lunch table. On weekends, well-known artists and bands are performing. The entrance fee is moderate. It's also a great place for meetings and seminars.

Nice staff. but we were promised good spa but half the saunas and the jacuzzi was closes. The a place has beautiful views n large rooms so I would say it has a lot of potential.

An atmospheric and peaceful place to stay, and there are many different things to see within walking distance.

Spacious and beautiful room in a perfect location with warm and hospitable staff. Comfortable beds and good breakfast (better than expected). The room was a bit warm and we couldn't keep the windows open as the location is right next to a street. But it's not a biggie though, just something to bear in mind if you look for absolute silence.

Absolutely great villa, in a good location, the beach was shallow, suitable for families with children. The beach is approx. 100m from the cottage. A peaceful cottage village.

Almost new and very clean apartment in the mystical holiday village Iso-ruhmas by the lake near the village of Jaala. Wonderfully quiet place (low traffic noise from a nearby road). Alexander, Thank you for giving us a vacation in a beautiful place, hospitality and care for the guests. Mentally spent a week, enjoyed nature. Honestly, we didn’t rest with such comfort for a long time.

To relax from the hustle and bustle of the big city, we went to Villa Maria with our family. This is a wonderful place where you can relax your body and soul. The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay. BUT MORE THAN EVERYTHING was impressed by the FIREPLACE and SAUNA. There are all necessary appliances, kitchen utensils, etc. Fresh air, forest, cleanest lake _ this is a great place....

Perfect spot for a stress-free weekend at the beach without the crazed tourist crowds. Amazing views, delightful set ups, just too slow service. But again... It's meant to be a stress-free staying, so... Four stars

Just walked in the lobby to take a look and got lots of information and a bit of history as well as a good look at the common areas.

The Mukkulan Kartano area is one of the more iconic locations to visit outside the Lahti center, and namely provides tennis courts, campfire sites, two beaches, a volleyball court, a sauna and playground all situated around the historical Mukkulan Kartano manor. A great place to go sunbathing on a summer day or just adventuring around on any day, the manor itself also acts as a hotel, conference place...

We had a First of May brunch there, and really enjoyed the stylish place and the tasty food. My only critical comment is that the music played there didn't suit the place at all - it was some kind of pop music, sounded as if there was a radio hidden in the fireplace, the music came out from a very small area (instead of the normal way when you feel it comes from "everywhere") and the style just didn...

Nice location, in the centre of the town, although the street itself is not specially beautiful. The room are very nice, bathroom is ok. The view of my room was towards the other buidlings roof, not specially nice. Very nice breakfast and good staff. For the price, this is a good hotel.

3 person rooms have either two normal beds and a convertible couch or some have three normal beds. HVAC is quite noisy, almost like staying on a ship. Room cleanliness is OK, but bathroom is sometimes not properly cleaned. Friendly and helpful staff.

A very nice Hotel for a reasonable price, in the center of Lahti. Parking was a bit tricky, because at the parking garage I was searching for the Sokos Logo on the signs, which are in fact very tiny on the bottom on the signs saying Seurahuone. Great central location, pleasant rooms (all though they are a bit small) and very tasty breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised to see that my room had balcony! The bathrooms are impractical as there is no barrier between shower and the rest so you have to get the whole bathroom wet in order to take a shower.

Excellent hotel in a great location in Lahti. I stayed here several nights. Both check-in and check-out were easy. The bed was very comfortable and I had a view onto Alexander street. It was a very good stay and I could just recommend this hotel when you are planning to come to Lahti.

Very good modern hotel in the centre of Lahti. Nice, cosy rooms, comfortable beds, complimentary sauna. Very good breakfast - many meals to choose. One remark - for me unacceptable to have scrambled eggs made out of powder. Please consider to change it. It's so easy!

Great staff everywhere. The room felt very clean, and thank you for the advice to choose room indoors, not towards the street. Breakfast had a whole table with glutenfree! Should I say something to improve is it like most hotels, I missed a shoehorn in the room.

Basic room, but good service and location at the very centre make up for a lot. Garage also so you don't have to park by the road.

Price correct and good allocation in the city center. Varied breakfast but I might have appreciated a little more variety in sweets (bakery, cereals,...). The negative part, which is a shame, is that there is no reception service in the afternoons. We were traveling in a group and two colleagues accidentally forgot the key inside the room, so they were fined 150 euros to come and open it, an issue...

This three star hotel has all necessities but some limited services. There is a free WiFi but it isn't that fast. Breakfast is good and available every morning. Premises are fine but not recently refurbished. There is one microwave in the hotel rather than one in every room. I'm rooms there is a fan but there is not air-conditioning. Location is excellent in the center of Lahti.

The price-quality ratio good. Although in downtown, is a quiet street in front. Staff very friendly.

This hotel is small, comfortable and cozy, but it has some disadvantages. For example, you can't have lunch small or dinner here, there is only a breakfast.

Good service, but the rooms are quite basic. There is no Smart TV or fridge, and no shampoo products are provided. The walls are thin. The location was fine for us. However, the parking space is small and not included in the price (14€/day). Self check-in was available, and the doors worked fine outside of service hours.

The rooms were quite small but totally accomodating for a 1-2 person stay! I love that they gave an option to have your room cleaned or untouched if you're staying more than onee night. We notes that the walls were a bit thin though as we could hear videos pur neigbours were playing and talking. Good for one night stay. Really basic, offering only bed and breakfast. Rooms quite small, not possible to open windows. Quite expensive for such a standard. For 10€ more you can have much better stay at Sokos or Scandic.

This is an old hotel, because the air condition is bad and you have an extra fan in the room. The switches to the bed lamps were missing and one bed was moving and squeaking. This are basic features that should always work. The scrambled eggs were like a hard omlette. Otherwise, it was an ok breakfast. It is ok to be green, but don't be stupid. The key-cards should not be covered in wood. They felt...

Due to entrence directly from the garage, I expected not so much of the hotel. However , I was very surprised. Nice reception, friendly and sweet recepionist, and the room was very good. Located by the railway station makes it easy to enter for travellers. Big breakfast buffé added a plus to my experience.

We enjoyed our stay at Camping Messilä, the camping has great facilities, and is located near Lahti and next to the lake Vesijarvi. It also has a nice beach with volleyball fields and a jumping cushion park. Also the beach has a water park and rental for canoe, Jetski, water hover board and other things. The camping’s sanitary facilities were exquisite, the showers were hot and free, and the camping...

Amazing place. A good reason to visit Finland. Great value for your money at this camping site. Scenery is breathtaking and so many activities around.

There are too many caravans and so beautiful beach also there are 3 volleyball area with beach football place, very nice 🎉🎉🎉

Awesome! The lake is quite warm, the beach is cleaned every morning, the food is excellent (lohikeitto is a must have, excellent cook), there's plenty of shadow for tents; downsides: lots of duck droppings and the toilets might be a bit messy, but there's not much one can do about it, so I don't mind at all. All in all, excellent vacation.
