Peaceful hotel with a spa Peaceful and comfortable spa hotel, beautiful surroundings by a river. Small but many-sided spa which was not crowded. Good breakfast.

The setting on the river and the amenities make this a peaceful retreat for anyone desiring a spa experience. The front desk staff was attentive and efficient.

A lovely, family-owned spa. Excellent views to the river (that looks like a large lake). Very friendly staff and few visitors (at least day-time on Wednesday and Thursday, when we visited). Just one wish: In the spa area there's a lot of natural light and moisture, so it feels totally useless that the plants there are plastic - there are so many real plants that would thrive there for sure!

This is a really good getaway place. We were able to relax well, the Lake was really near the Spa so that was nice, their Höyry sauna is the best thing for me ♥️

The small hotel was very cozy, the service excellent, a gluten-free breakfast was available on request, it was really quiet, a small playground for the children.

Same price for rooms of different sizes. 2 single beds and TV Does not work (cord disconnected !!!) 2to room insufficient. Toilet + shower really small compare double room for 2 people etc. No service in the evening (bar, food) to the center 6km. Breakfast was good and the bistro was nice

Very comfortable accommodation for the price. Due to the corona situation, I have not experienced the inn’s restaurant services. Sound insulation between rooms is low. I wake up in the morning to the alarm clock in the next room.

A very cozy and beautiful place to stay for a bigger group for a night out or a meeting with a good floor plan. High quality beds and linen, good sauna, functional and well equipped kitchen. Even stars are full of cleanliness 👍🏽

Really beautiful location, nice staff, probably the neatest cooking and shower facilities we have come upon touring Savo-Karjala. 👍 The small cottages are quite run-down, but that is going to be taken care of.

Nice camping place. Stayed overnight. Pets allowed. Room was clean. Swimming beach, BBQ plsces, mini golf all are within the compound. Shops and restaurants are also within few kilometres distance. Possible to use sauna, rent a paddle boat or bicycle. Have enough space for caravan and tent if not willing to stay in cottage. Price is ok. Staffs were very friendly.

Good place for over night stand, but I don't like to stay there longer

I stayed in the AuroraHut at Aurantola for 3 nights. I needed a place to unwind my mind and reconnect with nature. I couldn't have chosen a better place. The glass igloo is in front of a stunning lake, far aside all the other cottages. So, no noise and distractions other than ducks swimming in front of you and wookpeekers doing their job. At some point you can feel like Monet in front of the Rouen...

Picturesque interior, quiet location. I recommend snorkeling around Rajasaari, great scenery! The hosts are friendly. The sauna is really nice. Loft sleeping area hot.

The place is beautifully located on the shore of a clear lake, and both rooms and cabins are available for accommodation. The beach sauna for rent was a really pleasant experience and so was the breakfast in the main building. We offer canoes and paddle boards, and the scenery is great. The host is also really friendly. There is also a separate area for caravanners and the possibility to eat on site...

Great place. The cottages on the island are well equipped, each has a sauna, you can make a barbecue as well as go boating on the lake. The space between the houses is so large that the neighbors do not interfere. Remember to bring your bed linen, otherwise you can rent a full set for € 7.

The peace of the place... Nature is wonderful and bushama... the Only minus - no WiFi in the houses...)

Lovely place to stay at a fantastic location with amazing views and a remarkable staff that was always kind, welcoming, and wonderful to chat with. Gym had all necessary equipment. Breakfast was complete and fantastic. It is a 70's building, but that doesn't stop it from being a great place to stay at. Second time here, and will come back.

Nice to have the gym and sauna facilities. Breakfast was good and the staff spoke perfect English. Plenty of parking. We got to walk on a Frozen lake which was awesome

Being a hotel from the 70's, this is place is pretty decent - not great, not terrible. Biggest pluses being the location, the view and the swimming pool with a sauna. Breakfast is ok and the staff is friendly and helpful! The gym is a plus as well. The rooms are a bit outdated and slightly stuffy, but not something you can't cope with, unless you're used to 5-star bling bling hotels.

I have been here many times durin past decates. It is actually nice that it havnt change so much. Really retro.

A real 70's vintage feel gives the famous Vääksy hotel a peculiar charm. It has a well-stocked bar and offers a good lunch table. On weekends, well-known artists and bands are performing. The entrance fee is moderate. It's also a great place for meetings and seminars.

Spacious and beautiful room in a perfect location with warm and hospitable staff. Comfortable beds and good breakfast (better than expected). The room was a bit warm and we couldn't keep the windows open as the location is right next to a street. But it's not a biggie though, just something to bear in mind if you look for absolute silence.

Absolutely great villa, in a good location, the beach was shallow, suitable for families with children. The beach is approx. 100m from the cottage. A peaceful cottage village.

Alexander, Thank you for giving us a vacation in a beautiful place, hospitality and care for the guests. Mentally spent a week, enjoyed nature. Honestly, we didn’t rest with such comfort for a long time.

To relax from the hustle and bustle of the big city, we went to Villa Maria with our family. This is a wonderful place where you can relax your body and soul. The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay. BUT MORE THAN EVERYTHING was impressed by the FIREPLACE and SAUNA. There are all necessary appliances, kitchen utensils, etc. Fresh air, forest, cleanest lake _ this is a great place....

Perfect spot for a stress-free weekend at the beach without the crazed tourist crowds. Amazing views, delightful set ups, just too slow service. But again... It's meant to be a stress-free staying, so... Four stars

Just walked in the lobby to take a look and got lots of information and a bit of history as well as a good look at the common areas.

The Mukkulan Kartano area is one of the more iconic locations to visit outside the Lahti center, and namely provides tennis courts, campfire sites, two beaches, a volleyball court, a sauna and playground all situated around the historical Mukkulan Kartano manor. A great place to go sunbathing on a summer day or just adventuring around on any day, the manor itself also acts as a hotel, conference place...

We spent one night, and the hotel has everything that is needed. The room was comfortable, bright and well-equipped. Breakfast is good (as always in Scandic hotels), and it is possible to find any type of breakfast (cereals, sandwiches, fruits, etc). The room is very clean.

The hotel is in good location and staff were nice. However the hotel clearly needs renovation. The room was okay but nothing special. There was not any good view from the window. I had extra bed in the room, but it was so uncomfortable that sleeping in it was really horrible. The breakfast was good and i have nothing bad to say about it. Whem I visit Lahti again I will definitely choose another hotel...

The room was tidy and the breakfast was decently good. However, the air-conditioning didn't work properly and it was very hot and humid inside. The staff tried to help, which was nice, but overall there are better Scandics I've stayed at. Overall very average experience.

Stayed one night here before the Finlandia Ski Marathon. Entering the hotel is like going back to the 80's when you look at the interior. Everything was nice and clean though, service was friendly and breakfast very good, so quite an OK experience for the price you pay.

Nothing to complain, easy acces with good location, staff were nice. Breakfast is versatile, parking is made easy and location is good. Hotel building is quite old but the place and rooms are clean. We enjoyed out stay, i would recommend this hotel.

The Loft rooms across the street from the main hotel are very nice—modern and spacious. And the lounge in the center of that area is gorgeous and restful. It is fun to check out the lovely sauna lounge there outside the saunas too. The desk staff at the main hotel are highly trained and work hard to assist with reservations and any questions. One even managed to get me a same-day dental appointment...

We spent our wedding night in this hotel. The room was exactly how we wished and very classy. The hotel had taken into account our special day and there were towelswans, sparkling wine and creeting card awaiting us in the room. Myself and my bride were extremely impressed. Ok hotel for good location, in the city centre. Car parking was two different building, also rooms is two different buildings, staff OK, breakfast OK and large, many choices, room ok,we have quite big room for oval window. Hoten is heart of Lahti city, You can easily walking around and see city.

The rooms was very hot and there was no possibility to decrease the temparture in the room. Luckliy there was a small fan but the windows could not be open a lot to let any of the rather cool air outside in..

Basic but very clean and convenient budget hotel with good breakfast in the middle of town. Definitely not luxurious but perfectly adequate for a few nights' stay.

Good service, but the rooms are quite basic. There is no Smart TV or fridge, and no shampoo products are provided. The walls are thin. The location was fine for us. However, the parking space is small and not included in the price (14€/day). Self check-in was available, and the doors worked fine outside of service hours.

The bed is a little softer than other hotels, and the pillows are looser. Apart from these two points, there are basically no flaws. We did not buy breakfast, which is on the second floor and cannot be seen. The front desk in the lobby helped us print our boarding passes, and there is free coffee and tea, and a microwave.

The rooms were quite small but totally accomodating for a 1-2 person stay! I love that they gave an option to have your room cleaned or untouched if you're staying more than onee night. We notes that the walls were a bit thin though as we could hear videos pur neigbours were playing and talking. Good for one night stay. Really basic, offering only bed and breakfast. Rooms quite small, not possible to open windows. Quite expensive for such a standard. For 10€ more you can have much better stay at Sokos or Scandic.

This is an old hotel, because the air condition is bad and you have an extra fan in the room. The switches to the bed lamps were missing and one bed was moving and squeaking. This are basic features that should always work. The scrambled eggs were like a hard omlette. Otherwise, it was an ok breakfast. It is ok to be green, but don't be stupid. The key-cards should not be covered in wood. They felt...

We enjoyed our stay at Camping Messilä, the camping has great facilities, and is located near Lahti and next to the lake Vesijarvi. It also has a nice beach with volleyball fields and a jumping cushion park. Also the beach has a water park and rental for canoe, Jetski, water hover board and other things. The camping’s sanitary facilities were exquisite, the showers were hot and free, and the camping...

Awesome! The lake is quite warm, the beach is cleaned every morning, the food is excellent (lohikeitto is a must have, excellent cook), there's plenty of shadow for tents; downsides: lots of duck droppings and the toilets might be a bit messy, but there's not much one can do about it, so I don't mind at all. All in all, excellent vacation.

Beautiful place. Great food. High comfort in cottages. We have been in 3 different ones and from the smallest to the biggest all of them were clean, cozy. With sauna and jacuzzi, fireplace. There is kitchen Whit all basics which you need for cooking. And owner is charming enthusiastic and open-minded man. It always was a pleasure to stay here and with our two kids we had all what we needed to spend...
