Nice place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and tidy. Sauna and pool areas are nice. Overall it feels comfortable, it you are wanting up to date and new this is not the place however for value for money it is good.

An Old furniture and dirty surfaces inside the room are much smaller problem than the lack of ventilation. There is no ventilation at all! Futhermore you cannot open any window, there is no such an option. It smells like an old cigarette from 80s left here. The only reason to come here on summer is the absence of any other choice. The only thing I liked is the juice-machine in the hotel restaurant.

The room had seen it's better days. This hotel needs an urgent renovation. There were stains on the lampshade, ceiling, walls and the carpet. Didn't feel like walking on bare feet in my room.

Sommelo shows its age, but provided us much better value for money during the housing fair than Kouvola chains. Decent sauna with a pool is free.

Yes, an hotel locked in the 80s but quite clean. One complain during 3 days nobody came to clean my bedroom.
There is a large free parking, it's located near of the basic shops, restaurants, so great. I took my breakfasts there, they are complète, fruits, yogourt, jams, bread, ham, cereals, ..... good for a short stay 3, 4 days.
After I can not say what but something is missing.

Good location near the river in Kuusankoski. Good and polite service, clean. Hotel has free of extra charge sauna and pool, outside terraces and an excellent breakfast. Quiet guests happened to be during our stay. It just needs maybe some renovation. So all in all 3,8 out of 5 stars.

It's the only hotel in the town, limits your choice....

Really great hostel for the price. Rooms are functional, comfortable and clean.
Sauna and the swimming pool are included in the price.
Morning breakfast as well. You have the choice and food is good.
