I was missing the home-sandals that they provide in the hotels, but you normally can find in the room (so you can have them in the sauna or when going around indoors) but I couldn't find them anywhere in my room or any of the common areas. So that was a shame.
The breakfast was fine. I was missing variety in warm salty food; there was not a toaster and the amount of vegan/gluten free food was scarce sometimes. They did not use to check and sometimes it was empty and not refilled. Also, I was missing some waffles or pancakes as an option for breakfast.
The lighting system in the room was as bit chaotical and difficult to understand, there was a light in a wardrobe that I never managed to turn off by myself. The bathroom light was also a bit tricky.
The gym was quite small and poor in machines, it was lacking a fair amount of material.

Sliding door and fancy toilet in rock suite (room 500) didn't work. Otherwise all five stars.

Excellent location in the old town about 300 meters from the harbour and close to the town church. The breakfast buffet has wide choice including options for gluten free and vegetarians.
The hotel also features two other outlets (Bistro and bar) that offer a nice-but pricey-selection of food and drinks.
The rooms are a bit on the smaller side but the helpful staff, great location, and good food made up for it.

Great hotel, great location, the rooms are excellent. It might be nice if room service had more hours. For anyone who uses a wheelchair, it's worth noting the ramps on the room floor we had were very steep and could use an update for easier access.

The place is nice, near the lake if you want to walk your dog. Good breakfast and services.

Nice hotel, with a very friendly staff. Quick check in and check out. good breakfast but a bit difficult to find via the underground tunnel… and the breakfast room was quite crowded. Enough different options including lactose free. Space rooms altough they are a bit outdated.
There is a small bar on the ground level, and a nice salon where you can sit. Very slow elevators so iff you are in a hurry, the stairs can be the best option to get down, especially in the rush hours.

Situated in the center of Kuopio, right by the cathedral. The service was very good. The rooms were not to my liking, they had industrial/pagan feel to them, a lot of dark and bronze - I prefer a bit more light rooms.

Nice rooms after renovation, nearby Lake Saimaa and Kuopio harbor which is cosy at summertime.
