Hostels in Porvoo

A wonderful hostess, kind, sympathetic, takes care of her customers. Excellent apartments, where you can take a walk, there is a beautiful, purely Finnish district nearby :) It takes a maximum of 15-20 minutes to walk to the city center.

Very nice guest house. Clean, comfortable, hospitable Russian-speaking hostess. There is a sauna, a kitchen where you can cook food. Coffee, tea and porridge for free. Periodically stop here and then plan.

Great hotel for families: clean, comfortable, quiet. There is everything you need to have a pleasant rest. There are not many rooms, from the amenities: a toilet and a shower room with a sauna are on the floor, but at the same time you don’t stand in line and don’t run into neighbors at all, a spacious kitchen with everything - cutlery, crockery, household appliances, a big plus - sweets in the kitchen...

Bed was comfortable, my only complaint was the lack of blackout shades for summer. Not too far away from city center.

Very cool place with a great history: former maternal house. Don't you wanna stay in the midst of the place where life was born? Simple but cute and tidy.

Situated walking distance from Porvoo old town. Excellent, friendly welcome. Very warm and clean. Spacious. Attractive old building. Free parking. Much better than hotel. Meet interesting people. Clean kitchen to cook meal, etc. Short walk to old town and cathedral (see photos)

Great spacious room, nice kitchen and bathroom, not far from the center and Old Town. And it was interesting to learn the history of this place and see the monument to Alva Forsius.

The hostel is an idyllic, old wooden house in Porvoo. It takes you ca. 15 minutes to walk to the hostel from the bus station. The hostel is situated near the public indoor swimming pool. The rooms are very plain and reduced but tidy. No sheets in the beds, you need to bring our own or use a sleeping bag. There are pillows and blankets. There is a TV in every room. WC and separate showers for women...

If you are looking for a flash modern hotel with stamp size rooms this is not for you. It is an older hotel with spacious clean rooms, a superb breakfast and friendly service. It doesn't gleam or shine but offers an excellent central location at a reasonable price. We only stayed a night but would come back for a longer stay without hesitation. I booked it because elsewhere was full but it was a happy...

I was there for 10 days. The room was very big. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and warm. They were cleaning my room every day. The brekfast was served from 5:30! - that is really good and there was so many things to choose. The hotel is not modern but it is very cosy, people very helpful. And it is in centre of town. For sure I will come back!

OK hotel, little old fashion and have seem it's best days. But clean and convenient garage. Elevator was out of service, unfortunately.

Placed right next to the bus station, this hotel is ideally suited for the tired traveller. The breakfast starts early (already at 05:30) so if you need to get up and onwards then you can still get food.
