The spa hotel building is not super attractive, but everything is clean and comfortable. Spa itself is quite nice after a recent renovation, and the setting is stunning. Very good breakfast too!

Excellent boutique hotel and spa. Awesome seaside view. Great facilities to have any kind of party or reception, birthdays, weddings, etc.

We went there for the midsummer bonfire and had a couple of drinks at the balcony. Cycling from the Porvoo old town took around half an hour. However, the landscape was so beautiful, and romantic:)

This place is a gem. We visited the restaurant. The food was fresh and very tasty, the staff was friendly and helpful. A very nice experience.

Me and my wife came to Haikko for our honeymoon. We had a room in the new building. The interior was nice, but the outside architecture was quite ugly. The spa was very atmospheric and had a large variety of pools and saunas. We could buy drinks and snacks at the bar and even bring them to the pool. Using the spa area was restricted to one visit of 1,5 hours. Also the massage was organized very nicely...

A very strong recommendation for a weekend getaway! It has it all - a great location, design, food, drinks, service. A special thanks to fantastic cocktails, a delicious breakfast and stylish sauna with pleasant atmosphere and good "löylyt". The stay was worth every penny!

A full five star hotel! Close to everything and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. It felt like they knew each other. In the midst of the hustle and bustle they always had time to offer advice and even chat! The common areas are very clean and homely. The breakfast is full; nothing extra and nothing was missing. Beautiful and modern hotel with minimalist design. Our stay was absolutely comfortable. Rhubarb cocktail prepared at the bar was also refreshing. Would love to check in again in winter as we noticed a gorgeous fireplace in the room :)

Nice cozy place away from city hustle bustle.... ideal for hosting conferences and events. Bit far away from any happenings and having your own car to drive around would be ideal. Also dinner lunch and dinner options are limited and better to include in to package.

Quiet, beautiful boutique hotel. Good location in old town. Excellent breakfast. Hotel has no bar in winter time but there is a grate restaurant Meat District just few steps from hotel.

Quaint, stylish, old fashioned and nicely located hotel just in the middle of the old town. The hotel has their own parking lot and the cost was about 15€’s per night. The hotel has rooms both upstairs and downstairs, around 12 in total. Some of the rooms have their own saunas. Rooms are equipped with antique furnitures.

If you like nice and old-fashioned or antique design, this is your place. I for my part like more modern interiors. I dont care for a vintage looking couch or furniture. It seems to be a clean and very personal hotel. Staff was kind. I suspect the room is not soundproof but its an old fashioned house so thats normal. I had the suite, private couch and living room area and a private sauna.

The reservation included relaxing sauna and one of the best breakfast with many vegetarian and vegan options! Location is right there in the heart of Porvoo. Low budget, old skool. Clean and tidy with nice staff. But rooms adjacent to road are noisy, and the blinds / curtains are poorly maintained so room never dark. Tired and needs refurbishment - looks like 1990 European style. Easy parking and access, breakfast relaxed and okay. Room service is limited only to replacing towels, so toilet not flushed not beds made up. There are better choices.

Peaceful place to stay overnight in the old city center, simple yet very good breakfast, small garden where you can eat breakfast and enjoy blossoming plants.

We (two adults) stayed at Ida-Maria in Jan/2021 for two nights in ”Pieni huoneisto, puutarhanäkymä”. The room was lovely, cozy and clean. Delicious breakfast and very good service! All of this in the heart of Porvoo Old Town. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Everything is pretty good here! Only the pillow is a bit uncomfortable. But the location is great. My favorite is breakfast and sauna. Definitely recommended.

Finding this place is hard. Either use the navigator and drive strictly according to the coordinates, or use the Internet on the spot. Check in advance that your navigator has a road to this place. We spent the night here on the way to Helsinki. A great option to relax if you arrived in Finland late and if you want to spend the night cheap.

Really tasty waffles in the cafe with Hommanäs' own wonderful raspberry jam. There could be signs to the cafe on the road, so as a tourist it took me a while to realize that it is in the main building :D

A beautiful manor house from the 18th century. Warm and welcoming family. They produce excellent jams and juices. Very peaceful setting and nice athmosphere.

It is a charming hotel located on top of Porvoo just next to the church. It is a beautiful old merchant house renovated to fit a small hotel. If you are looking for a flash modern hotel with stamp size rooms this is not for you. It is an older hotel with spacious clean rooms, a superb breakfast and friendly service. It doesn't gleam or shine but offers an excellent central location at a reasonable price. We only stayed a night but would come back for a longer stay without hesitation. I was there for 10 days. The room was very big. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and warm. They were cleaning my room every day. The brekfast was served from 5:30! - that is really good and there was so many things to choose. The hotel is not modern but it is very cosy, people very helpful. And it is in centre of town. For sure I will come back!

Placed right next to the bus station, this hotel is ideally suited for the tired traveller. The breakfast starts early (already at 05:30) so if you need to get up and onwards then you can still get food.

I dont know why this hotel should not deserve 5 stars... its location, cleanliness, amenities.. all were perfect.. the only downside is the distance of the hotel from the public transport.. but everything else greatly matched expectations...

How can people rate this cozy and well-equipped hotel (my room had tea/coffee making amenities and a fridge!) less than 4 stars? For the money, given the country we are in it’s just fantastic! Hotel’s Achilles’ heel is the distance from the old center in case you are on foot and it’s a cold Winter outside (it’s around 20 minute walk, so doable in any case). Other than that everything is just brilliant...

This place is about 25 minutes walking from old town Porvoo, and like many hotels in Finland, there’s no air conditioning only fans. But if the weather is nice it’s a lovely walk and the rooms will feel very comfortable. There’s plenty of space (by European standards) with your own private bathroom!
