The hotel itself is not bad, small but OK spa area, nice restaurant in the main building (Manor House). Breakfast is good. Service is average. My room was booked by the company and when I paid they said they couldn't give me a receipt with company details. Early in the morning they started changing the TVs in the rooms, so there was drilling and other noise. The safety of the elevator is under question...

One night family break Great stay at a lovely hotel. We stayed for one night with two children and could not fault the hotel - the room was spacious, the spa was excellent, and the breakfast was plentiful. We can’t wait to come back again!

Extra large room was spacious but could be more comfy. Colours and materials in the room were nice and calming. Some noise coming through from the corridor. Service was welcoming and available. Breakfast was good but a bit more versatile. Sauna at the artic is extraordinary. Strong recommendation to visit sauna.

We had a company trip here for one night. Most of the buildings are rough 80's styled concrete things, but the manor itself was beautiful. Location was nice and quiet, with green nature all around. A big let down was the food and the wine we had for a late dinner. The food was quite low tear and the vegetarian option was horrible canned mushrooms thing. The rooms were clean and had some basic stuff

Nice cozy place away from city hustle bustle.... ideal for hosting conferences and events. Bit far away from any happenings and having your own car to drive around would be ideal. Also dinner lunch and dinner options are limited and better to include in to package.

great place to visit for a conference or other social training etc. Great restaurant with ambience that will impress. Bar also extremely cosy with local beers that will make your social get-together reach new heights.

Nice little boutique hotel in complimenting the spirit of Porvoo Old Town in a splendid location right in the heart of the city. The room was neat and cosy and had a little sauna as well( thank you for the upgrade). Breakfast was lovely and served in a nice and intimate space. Every time again. Gorgeous little sweet place. I had room number 1 with a sauna in my bathroom. The owner was just lovely and gave us a really warm welcome. A nice farm next to a river owned by hospitable hosts holding horses and donkeys. We enjoyed having a tasty breakfast with warm homemade buns and other local products, staying in a traditional summer house (good sleep as no sunlight, sounds and heat getting inside). There are also sauna, bicycles, boats and hiking options.

Best day of my life!! The owners were super super nice, walking with the donkeys was amazing and the savusauna with dock on the river was too notch!

Because. Clean apartment and no unnecessary crunches like this during Korona. I didn't miss anything. I was overnight and the friendly host brought breakfast and payment was easy to complete. I recommend it to people who want to spend their nights sleeping well. Decent beds and bed.

Staff is very nice as are the rooms basically, but it is on the third floor of an office building. No staff at night at all . Accommodating if you arrive late on day of arrival , but they close at 1:00PM on Sunday . Can’t even store bags after that time.

Very good in the decent basic hotel category. Clean, quite spacious, tea, coffee and an armchair in the room. Pleasant breakfast space. Very well located for both the bus station and the old town. Like many cheaper Finnish hotels, doesn’t have 24-hour desk coverage, though staff when there were efficient and polite.

Breakfast was good, not outstanding. Our room was clean and the sauna was great! Can't beat the location for walking around town and the old part of Borgå. The staff was nice. We had an issue with our room key one evening and could not get in. The desk is not manned in the evening so getting a hold of someone to let us in was difficult but once we made contact they remedied the situation promptly...

you get what you pay for. A reasonable price for a totally outdated hotel. The rooms are clean but haven‘t been updated for ages. In the lamps still the good old energy saving bulls are flickering. Breakfast is simple. The location is ok, it’s close to shops and about 10 mins to the old town. The parking in the underground garage is very convenient.

Ideally located in Porvoo, this basic, no frills, self-service hotel room was quiet, spacious, clean, and comfortable. It is true that the pillows were children size, but we brought our own. The breakfast was very basic and would have been much better if the bread selection had been more varied and exotic.

A lovely spot to stay in Porvoo. The staff were so lovely and found a place for my bike inside the building. The breakfast was amazing and the sauna was excellent.

One day visit Quite nice and straightforward visit with all the necessities. Breakfast just fine; porridge, bread and also some vegetarian options. Didnt check gluten free options. Nice room, no disturbances and everything worked smoothly. Close to Porvoo old town, around 15min walk.

Nice and quiet area, good staff and easy to check-in and out. The building is a bit old though, but still in a decent condition generally.

I liked the cleanliness and facilities. But human contact is not there. It’s was hard as tourists to time checking in and out with only phone instructions.

Minimal accommodations and they need to work on their communications. We never got our 3pm text for the key code. The girl that runs the attached Thai restaurant (but a separate entity) was more than helpful, and the food was good. I’d recommend the restaurant but not the lodging.

Peaceful place to stay overnight in the old city center, simple yet very good breakfast, small garden where you can eat breakfast and enjoy blossoming plants.

We (two adults) stayed at Ida-Maria in Jan/2021 for two nights in ”Pieni huoneisto, puutarhanäkymä”. The room was lovely, cozy and clean. Delicious breakfast and very good service! All of this in the heart of Porvoo Old Town. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Everything is pretty good here! Only the pillow is a bit uncomfortable. But the location is great. My favorite is breakfast and sauna. Definitely recommended.

A wonderful hostess, kind, sympathetic, takes care of her customers. Excellent apartments, where you can take a walk, there is a beautiful, purely Finnish district nearby :) It takes a maximum of 15-20 minutes to walk to the city center.

Very nice guest house. Clean, comfortable, hospitable Russian-speaking hostess. There is a sauna, a kitchen where you can cook food. Coffee, tea and porridge for free. Periodically stop here and then plan.

An oasis of sweet and salty cafe dishes

Very quiet. We were the only ones in the building after business hours. The room was romantic and it was like going back in time, still with everything you needed. Breakfast was served in the cafe downstairs and you got to choose from salty and sweet pies. So good!
