This was the scond time in the historic building of Villa Urhola. We really like the rooms that have the "villa feeling", high ceilings etc. This house is a completely different case than the main building of Kruunupuisto that is a huge rehab center. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the surroundings nice and one can swim in the lake both on the beach and at the nearby ferry pier. ...

The setting was beautiful. From my balcony I looked over lawns and the lake. The grounds are large and have lake access, a pond, a sensory garden and a great little cafe serving waffles. They lead onto a trail which takes you to the lovely art centre and forest museum at Lusto. The layout of the interior shows clearly it was a former hospital, but it's given charm by the old photos, tiny lounges...

A nice experience and, above all, an elevating experience. Unique nature and an old sanatorium building, where guests were welcomed with a warm attitude even at midnight. Fresh strawberries with oatmeals.

Idyllic setting for this lodge. Beautiful view of the lake from the cabin. Fabulous swimrun course to Petri island. Very hospitable host who brought us smoked fish and apples.

Really great summer and winter place. We visited here for a day last summer (2021) and decided to spend our winter holiday (2022) here. Loads of winter activities, great cottages and service.

A beautifully located restaurant, great for lunch and dinner and easy to get some necessary groceries. Their staff is friendly and speak English.

Wonderful camping. Camping itself is quite big. You can choose to live in apartment, villa, small og big cabin, tent or park a camper. Shared kitchen and wc/douche are clean and big enough. We have 4 beds camping summer house. Located just next to the lake. Beautiful. The house has two bunk beds. So it's really only for kids. Refrigerator, microwave and some cupboards in the house. The beds' size are smaller. One of the upstairs bed is much smaller. The house is clean. We rent the bedsheets and towels for €13 pp. There are some spots we can swim on the lake. A car can be parked easily...

I really like the place. Quiet, remote but not too far or difficult to get.

A relaxed inn and very friendly hosts with a lovely sociable dog. The room was clean and had its own toilet. The shower was found downstairs and it was also very functional. At breakfast, homemade rolls, breads and family cakes were delicious. The beach sauna was booked, so I didn't have time to test it.

Then that log Snow White with a few mh. In the cottages, shared clean washrooms and toilets in the courtyard building. Snowcat also has its own shared hygiene space. For people who are looking for a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of the city or a place to spend the night at the end of a trip. 65e a night, own small cabin with a bed and a mini-fridge. Toilets and washing in a common area. 200 meters to the sauna/beach. Good breakfast 10e. Nice, relaxed staff makes you feel welcome.

The beds were quite small and i kept hitting my self against the radiator on the wall luckily its summer so it wasnt hot. But otherwise good room

Nice and comfortable stay hotel at Kerimaki area. A bit out of the town & definitely you need your own transport to reach the hotel. Hotel is facing the lake. Come with wonderful BF & free parking facilities

Room (Lauri) was spacious and individually decorated. It had everything that we needed. Big bed was very good. Service was excellent, apartment keeper called us in advance and checked things related to reservation. Short distance from Savonlinna and easy to drive to opera and back.

Friendly staff and clear instructions for arrival. Well equipped kitchen. Small private toilet and shower room, which were separate from each other.

We booked spontaneously, everything worked smoothly. Large rooms with living area and own kitchen. Toilet and shower are shared in the hallway. On request we got a great breakfast basket and were allowed to use the sauna for little money. Value for money absolutely great and the hostess was extremely friendly.

Last 4 days I stayed in this pretty apartments. The owner and his family are very kind people . The place is amazing, hotel is located on the lake with super view. We had Appt. Nr. 9, perfect for 2, best because its on the southern end of the premise and very calm. 6 days in paradise. Best breakfast ever with home baked sourdough bread and EVERYTHING you might desire. Fish shop is worth a visit. Smoked salmon and trout from heaven or rather Çaki's smoking chimney *\0/* Excellent soups on demand.

Excellent service to sweaty bikepacking guys. Food (fish soup in the evening and breakfast) was excellent, sauna was warm and the water in the lake was refreshing. Special thanks to Sirpa who made us feel welcome.

Very basic. The room was a bit messy when we arrived. The aircon doesn't seem to have an off-switch, only a temperature knob. Other than that, nothing to complain about. Very basic, you get what you pay for. I can recommend this.

Rooms quite small and malodorous, then we asked (we were 3 couples) for double rooms but the beds were divided...the door of the room was a little bit broken (there was an hairline crack so it wasn't well closed). Breakfast in the norm.

Good offer for it’s price. Old historical buildings brings romantic atmosphere. Also it’s located on the first line next to lake beach, and 3 minutes walk to the castle. The only disadvantages were spider webs and cockroaches in the room. Also quite a poor choice in the hotel’s restaurant. Anyway, a good variant for 3 stars.

Had a great stay at this property. The hotel has a rich history. The staff is helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is really good. There is hotel parking as well as free street parking in front. Rooms are cozy in general, but I found the bathroom a bit compact. It is very close to all major attractions. Definitely recommend this hotel and will visit again.

This is our go to go place in Savonlinna. The (Disco) swimming pool is definitely a plus. Comfortable bed and pillows. Slept well. Breakfast could be better.

The room was old. The tiles was messy paid so the concrete between the tiles was over the tiles. The shower sink was the same as the sink. So it ran thru a whole in the shower under the sink. With a name like Spahotel I would expect higher finished and quality. The room itself was good. Good bed, nice view (I had in the direction of the city senter). The service was ok/good

Good hotel with mice view from balcony. The price is good, the hotel is old. The parking space was easy to find and the hotel is a quick walk to the center / attractions. Access to the spa is included in the rooms and the breakfast is quite good. The customer service was excellent. The staff were super friendly. They even let us check in hours ahead our of time. We got the room with the lake view. It was reslly beautiful. The free breakfast was super delicious. Not to mention that our dog got the best treatment ever. Free treats, also with bed and food bowl for hotel use. Definitely recommend this place when going to savonlinna
