Where to stay in Salla

Housing was pretty nice but the breakfast was the best ive ever had. Highly recommend

Nice houses surrounding the hotel/ reception. Good Scandinavian type food, friendly staff. Bar that serves Guinness got to be worth a round of applause.

Our cabin was old and the kitchen was dated but functional. We were so pleased to be able to wash some clothes (cabin had both washing machine and a drying cabinet). Dogs are allowed but added 25euro to the price. The sauna and toilet looked newly renovated.

Perfect location with the hiking trails right outside of the cabin. Cabin is perfect size for me and the wife and our two dog's with all the amenities. Nature lovers paradise 😊 we can highly recommend this place for anyone 😊👍🏻

An evacuees table was offered here which exceeded our expectations. Unpretentious delicious local food at its best.

I haven't been to the place but driving past would seem to be pretty quiet there. Seen from the internet, it feels expensive when you look at the location and the accommodation on offer.

We travelled as a group of four adults with a 15-month-old baby. I was a little cautious when booking this hotel due to some of the reviews, but we honestly couldn’t fault our experience. We stayed in Chalet 6 and it was perfect - warm and cosy (sometimes even too warm!). The chalet had all the utensils, plates, and cooking equipment we needed, and having an oven was a huge bonus as it meant we could...

The hotel building and rooms were very nice. The ”basic” room was surprisingly big and had big windows and a great view to the ski slopes. I was a little disappointed with the restaurants. We had pizza at Arctic Ski Bistro, it was decent but I wish there were more options. At the hotel or near it there is no kiosk or any kind of store. Nice rooms with a view. We had a buffet dinner since we are with a tour group. The spread and taste was good too. Met the skiing instructor who was very friendly. A pity we didn’t have time to get some lessons.

Bar, restaurant and view amazing. We all loved the ski slopes. Friendly staff and lovely food. Manager came to meet us at the table gave kids free ice cream, locals were friendly. We’ve booked again for next year! The lunch buffet was nice and good value. Drinks expensive but that’s same over all of Finland!
