Hotel «Fjalar» in Salo

Small hotel but amazing in and out! Super friendly service, nice room with jacuzzi bath tub, indoor pool and sauna. Breakfast was surprisingly good with juices, porridge, bacon, bread, yogurts and sweet pastries. Had a business trip and was able to work in comfortable meeting room.
Salo center is in a small walking distance with restaurants and services, but the hotel location is in quiet neighborhood.
Definitely worth the visit!

I loved my 4 night stay at Hotel Fjalar. Everyone at the hotel spoke excellent English and were very helpful during my stay. The breakfast is a must if you stay here. There is a great selection of foods and they provide delicious vegetarian options as well on request. The rooms are very clean and my room included a patio which provided the perfect place to sit and work while enjoying the beautiful weather. The best part was the sauna which you must try if you stay here. The hotel is located close to everything and is easily accessed by the main highway. If you're staying in Salo, stay at Hotel Fjalar!

Comfortable 3 star hotel reasonably close to the city center. What sets the place apart is the buildings history and its relation to the glory days of Salo. The hotel is even a destination for some tourist sightseeing tours in Salo! It's well worth considering when choosing accommodation in the city.

The staff is friendly and the breakfast buffet had most things that you would expect to find. There is a sauna and a swimming pool. Only one dressing room though, which might be an issue for some visiting groups. The rooms are large with medium sized bathrooms.

Quiet, well kept hotel with warm atmosphere and very nice staff. Interesting privat home transfered into a hotel. Private home atmosphere is still there. Nice vegetarian choises at the breakfast. Excellent choice for those who are looking for good night sleep.

Superb place to stay away from home.
