The smallest hotel room ever! I am seasoned traveller but the standard room we were given was stamp size and hot even in August when outside temperature was+15. The table fan was in deed needed. No cupboard for clothes and the shower spilled water all over since the floor tilted away from well. Rooms were though tidy and recently refurbished. The staff was really friendly and parking free. We felt very welcome and taken care of. The BIG minus was the temperature in the rooms, no ac and not even a possibility to open a window. We couldn't sleep at all.

Nice and cozy rooms. Staff is very friendly and works with excellent attitude. We game to hotel very late, just before restaurant kitchen closes but any way, they made us great dish. Strong recommendation to this hotel.

Comfortable 3 star hotel reasonably close to the city center. What sets the place apart is the buildings history and its relation to the glory days of Salo. The hotel is even a destination for some tourist sightseeing tours in Salo! It's well worth considering when choosing accommodation in the city. Location was great, Price was perfect, It was unexpected that I didn't have staff to check me in, but that was absolutely fine, no need. It was a last minute idea for a room. No frills, super clean. Just what I need to my travels in Finland.

Near salo train station. Good place for rocker hangout. Might get a little noisy below but it's alright. Room were big.

We went to the bar downstairs, and we didn't actually stay in the hotel. The place is obviously new, because according to our memory, there was a different restaurant in the same place before, which also turned out to be good. A cozy place with good refreshments.

So after a change of plans, thanks to covid, i had to get a room on friday around midnight..Called the owner and he explained to me everything how to get inside and where to get something to eat in the middle of night. The cottage was a rare find! Like staying a night in a very cosy museum building :) The staff was very friendly and helpful, everything was beyond our expectations.

We were here in May. Nice located on an island close to the city. New Toilet and shower building and friendly staff. You can only park on grass so be prepared for that. Couldn't find any waste-storting bins only one residual waste bin...

The camping area is quite beautiful and so is the nature trail connected to it, though especially on the latter I'd wish for better markings. There are a lot of well trotted trails that are not part of the main one, and the main one rarely even has the coloured markings for following it. It is the first time I've come across this here in Finland, though I've gone through quite a few of the trails...

The lady at the cafe and reception was super lovely. We thought the cabin we booked was going to be ours only, but it was actually a room in a shared cabin, but that was fine too. The place was full, but we couldn't hear our neighbors, so the rooms were really sound proof. There weren't toilets at the cabin, but they had put portable toilets next to it.
