Great stay in a great hotel What a great landscape with a great hotel. Great design with the necessary charm for the snowy winter landscape. Great room - great view. Just great and we would definitely come back.

The wow factor is the location with valley view. The other wow factor was our bear cave suite. Whirlpool, large sauna, fireplace, steam bath, two bathrooms and a lounge area. Great hotel that deserves 4 stars. Very friendly staff and guides. Good location and accomodation. Variety of food and enough time to eat during all shifts. Perfect for Lapland starters. Skislopes bit short though. Pity there was no small fitness. Spa is small : pool, 1 sauna, 1 steam bath, 1 jacuzzi.

Best view in syöte. We arrived to get coffee and cakes here and check out the view. It did not disappoint us. Views were spectacular. Cafe are had lots seatings with scenerys and pricing was very reasonable. 2 coffees, chocholate cake and goat cheese pie were 20€. I would visit again. Only minus was that there was no service in finnish language.

We stayed for 1 week wich was too short.....but thst's tge sentiment when time is too short! Absolutely fabulous hotel, smiling and always cheerfull staff. I visited the hotel for the first time after the major upgrades, and it felt like I had arrived at a completely different place than before. The new owners have done great work in a short time. A nice mountain top resort, with large rooms and views that tranport you to a wonderland in winter. Room is large and bath has a jacuzzi! Fantastic at the end of a cold day outdoors. There is a sauna and gym, though it was initially a challenge to navigate to it. Meals at the restaurant is good. Though dinner was simple, it was elegant and we love the dessert. Very good service compared to iso-syöte. I recommend this place! Rooms are great, nice view. Breakfast are good. The burger and pizza seems nice but we don’t have enough time to try.

We enjoyed all. One day trecking to Rytivaara and small trip to Vattukuru. Room with wonderful sceenery and with jaguzzi was basic but relaxing after long walk. Restaurant was ok but no ala'carte on September. Good breakfast. Good price.

Fine room with great view (jr. suite, summer visit). Hotel feels very good kept. Good starting point for mountain biking in the area.

The rooms dont have blinding covers for the windows. What would be handy in the summer. The basic rooms are very basic. But very clean! Breakfast is simple but enough too choose from. Also gluten free food/breakfast. And a super view on the nature outside. Alsofriendly staff who really likes to help you.

Rivitalomökki oli Pikkusyötteen rinteellä. Kaikki oli siistiä ja toimi erinomaisesti - jopa vedenpaine ja viemärit vetivät kuin uusina, toisin kuin usein vuokramökeissä. Kuivauskaappi tuli pyöräillessä tarpeeseen.

The rooms is breathtaking!! The view is just so beautiful ! The floor is heated so you don’t feel cold at all. There is a mini kitchen with coffee machine / toaster / kettle/ microwave/ fridge. The hotel is in the national park in Syöte and there is so many activities you can book ( ski / snowmobile / husky ride / bike rental … ) Also few restaurants around and a mini market. The sewer smells in the cabin, and it doesn't go away by running water. At the neighbor's construction site, construction waste is burned in the yard next to the cottages, it kind of takes away the holiday atmosphere.. Otherwise, a nice cottage!

The glass-roofed suite is a small, compact unit. The glass ceiling and one wall are calming elements and give a wonderful sense of space. There are 4 suites next to each other, yet they have a "wilderness" feel. The downside is that the sauna is 660 meters away and only open from 18:00 to 21:00, but since I'm not passionate about saunas, it didn't bother me much.

Really clean and stylish suite. The appliances were modern and the tableware from the Pentik saga series. Comfortable bed with a direct view of the starry sky. The perfect wedding night.

Nice room, it was a wonderful weekend to enjoy here! Good breakfast that was included in the price. Customer service is a bit clumsy when applying for key cards. When leaving, it was convenient when we left the keys in the room at check-out time and went straight home. The 4-unit suite apartments are adjacent. A nice place to stay, but a little too bright and hot in the summer. Fortunately, there is an air heat pump that can be used for cooling in a small space.

Very nice hotel. Nothing major amiss. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to enjoy activities in Iso-syöte. The location is easily accessible by bus. Breakfast was a bit basic but good. Checkout is unusually early at 10.

Kide hotel is an apartment style hotel. Rooms have good amneties like oven, fridge, coffeemaker (bring your own grounds), toaster, water kettle, tv with streaming. Also there's a clothes drier in the bathroom to dry out your gear. This is clean, new looking, comfortable place. We got a good deal with the prices so great value. Easy check in and out. I would recommend.

This place both in location to ski lifts, restaurants, rental places and bars along with a market makes it one of the best value stays ive had the pleasure of going to. The national park is also not far down the road they had skiing and bike storage rooms in each building and you can ski to your front door. Stayed for 3 nights at KIDE first weekend after new years eve. The hotel was brand new, clean and very fresh. Rooms are spacious with fully equipped kitchenettes and even a drying cabinet for sport clothes. Cosy place to stay in beautiful surroundings. Further up mountain there is wonderful views.

We went here with the family of 10 people. Everything went smoothly. We were very late because of a delayed flight and we were still able to have dinner. The house was clean and we got everything we needed. For the two children of 1 and 2 years old we got extra gear and all we needed for them. We got good overalls and gear for activities as lang laufing and snow walking, there are sledges you can use...

Such a warm welcome. Friendly staff, lots of freedom to use pool, sauna, pool. Made a special effort on Christmas Eve, allowing us to decorate the tree and inviting Santa to the hotel. Snow safari trips were all high quality and we loved being able to downhill ski nearby on our days off.

Nice, clean rooms. The rooms are quite big (for example they feature a table and a sofa. Unfortunately only a few rooms, the ones closest to the restaurant, have WiFi. In most rooms you won't have internet. The restaurant/lobby does have a strong, fast WiFi network. There is enough informal seating in the restaurant/lobby. The walk to the skiing centre is about 15 minutes. The hotel has free to use...

If you choose hotel Herrko, go for the little cottages (fireplace, sauna, kitchen, etc). Lovely place to be during the winter (5 min walk from main hotel building)
