Hôtel Le Mozart

Nice hotel close to city center, good parking possibilities, good for the price.

Home away from home.
We felt at home at the hotel. A perfect location to start off each day on a new adventure getting to the Luberon or to the coastal towns of Antibes, Cassis, Marseille etc. Comfortable beds, good water pressure in the shower and a delicious breakfast each day. The staff is attentive yet unobtrusive. Helpful if we needed cuttlery or dishes for our own enjoyment of the delicacies we found at markets or shops around town.

The hotel is pleasant , clean and comfortable.
The only hitch was that the cleaner removed a knife of mine from the room probably presuming it belonged to the hotel.
Despite asking about its return twice I never saw it again

Confortable and calm close to the pedestrian area. Excellent breakfast and very kind personnel.

The Mozart was one of the most pleasant hotels we have stayed in. The room was clean and comfortable possibly a little on the small side but for the cost it was perfect. The staff were very welcoming and helpful even though we arrived a bit early. The breakfast was 5 star and well worth having. I would recommend the Mozart to anyone looking for a good reasonably priced hotel.

The location is walking distance to tourist attractions. Area around hotel has various restaurant, supermarket and pharmacy. Room facility is complete such as there is kettle to boil water.

A good value find in Aix en Provence
This was a great hotel in Aix en Provence.
It was a pleasant, short walk from Cours Mirabeau and everything in the town centre.
The room was spacious enough with a decent bathroom. With the blinds down it was nice and dark for sleeping and there was little noise from outside.
I had a small balcony which looked out over the side of the building.
The breakfast was good - continental style with plenty to choose from.
The team at the hotel were friendly and courteous, and spoke good English (unfortunately I speak very little French!)
For my room and breakfast, taking into account the central location, this was excellent value for money and I would definitely recommend Hotel le Mozart to others.

The hotel is a good choice for budgetminded travelers but it is somewhat distant from the center of the city. It took about a half hour to walk to the rotonde, which is the center of Aix. However, along the way to the rotonde are plenty of cafes, shops selling food, wine and bread. The route is pretty direct and leads directly to Cours Mirabeau, the main thoroughfare of Aix, You can take a taxi from the rotonde to the hotel for 8 Euros. Breakfast provided a nice selection of European breakfast choices and you could dine on the outside terrace on the days that it was open. The hotel didn't have laundry facilities, but there is a pressing service(dry cleaner) a short walk from the hotel on Gambetta that will do laundry. My personal biggest negative was that you have to climb a steep driveway and then some stairs to reach the entrance to the hotel. Although you can bypass the stairs by entering through the garage and taking a lift to the main floor, you still have to walk to reception at the entrance. If you're carrying luggage, either way it's a trek. I'm in my eighties, so at the end of a day of walking, climbing the hill was a chore. All in all not a bad choice.
