This hotel is good in the south of France

The room is very satisfactory, with complete facilities, clean and sanitary, spacious and comfortable bed, and good hotel service. The hotel also has a swimming pool, but I didn't have time to experience it. The breakfast is very rich, with a wide variety of snacks and fruits. The restaurant is very warmly decorated. It is a very satisfactory stay experience.

I really appreciate the hospitality offered by the staff, and enjoyed my family trip at the hotel. The indoor swimming pool and the sauna was very relaxing. I wish I could come to enjoy the outdoor pool in summer. Breakfast was excellent, and the Napoli pizza right across the hotel was one of the best pizzas in Europe.

I found this a luxury stay in a quiet and convenient location. Valet parking was a nice touch! The property is beautiful with a retreat-like outdoor pool area complete with loungers, bar, and cabanas. Cafes, stores, and restaurants are all in walking distance.

Very happy with the hotel. We had a very good experience with Mario, the bartender, who suggested customized cocktails not on their menu based on our desired tastes. They were very good. He was also very friendly.

The hotel was quite nice with good vibe and not far away from the city centre. The room is big enough for the big suitcase. The hotel also offered the restaurant and the reception place is good for working as well.

The location is a bit away from the city center - 15 minutes walk. The only thing I didn't like was that there was cream and coffee in the room only on the first day out of 4.

The address is a bit remote, but everything else is ok

Parking is very convenient, which is very friendly for self-driving tours, but not for public transportation. The outdoor swimming pool allows children to come back and continue playing in the water at night.

It's an elegant older hotel with a restaurant on the first level. The rooms are small but comfortable and fully appointed with a safe at work desk plenty of power ports and a closet. I handled out the request for tidying up the room but my sign was ignored. I was a bit angry and upset as I needed someone to clean my rubbish bin. My room was on the ground floor. A bit noisy. But the room is spacious with cooking equipment. As Ax doesn't have good food, cooking can be an option.

super! The room is very big and the surrounding environment is very quiet. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the city center and 10 minutes to the bus station. L40 can go to TGV and Marseille Airport directly, which is very convenient. The gentleman at the front desk speaks very good English and communication is barrier-free. You can cook and the facilities are complete. Very satisfied!

Tiny room with the worlds smallest TV. But the room had a balcony, witch is why it get three stars. Only 5 minutes to walk to town.

Decent for the price. The room was dated and some of the furniture was wonky. For the price it’s acceptable. It’s about a 15min to the old town.

Perfect place to stay if you want to enjoy the Provence Markets and Aix has a huge one. Great location, friendly staff. We didn't do the breakfast so i can't comment. We ate at the restaurant and it was very good. Rooms were well appointed and the hotel is well maintained. We would absolutely stay there again on our next time in Aix.

Central and friendly We booked 1,5 hour before we arrived at midnight and they responded quickly and helped with parking and everything we needed. Amazing location in the middle of town, but can be noisy on weekends. Spacious room and new bathroom.

The hotel is in the middle of the classiest street in town. You are literally in front of Cezanne:sothers house and only a few minutes walk from almost anything of note in the old city center.

Highly recommend… We had a wonderful time in the beautiful old town of Aix-en-Provence and we were so happy to return to our super comfortable and very clean hotel room every night. We appreciated the robes and slippers, the comfortable beds, the overall elegance of the hotel, and the friendly staff.

Annoyance with your toilet flush that requires an Olympic athlete. No slippers or towels to wash. Carpet with stains and dampness in the bathroom, mold and odor (there are ways to capture moisture at low cost) otherwise very good

The hotel is a bit far from the city, but it is very suitable for self-driving because it is very close to the interchange. All facilities are good and the breakfast is rich.

A group of 6 ladies stayed 2 nights and had a delightful time. The location is terrific for walking and seeing the sights, finding restaurants, shopping and exploring. The staff are kind and helpful and the hotel is lovely. The breakfast was delicious and copious. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Small, but clean rooms. Nice bathroom. Continental breakfast, with freshly backed pastries. Not really close to the city. You can use a parking lot near the hotel. All in all: good services for this price.

The hotel is clean, tidy and comfortable. Although it is not the city center, the No. 8 bus terminal is right at the door and it is very convenient to reach the central square in 20 minutes. The surrounding environment of the hotel is beautiful and the scenery is pleasant. Awesome!

After a perfect refurbishment the hotel became a Mercure instead of Novotel. New, well kept rooms and beautiful common areas are topped up with a lovely breakfast room with great, well measured breakfast. I'm planning a new visit very soon.

I dislike leaving negative reviews but I feel obliged to share my experience. The hotel is nice and well located. The staff are all very friendly and professional. However the hotel does not appear to have received any investment since it was built. All the fittings are very old and in a poor condition. The carpet in the room was disgusting and looks 30 years old or more and is worn and full of stains...

The room is spacious, the bathroom, washroom and room are separated from each other, and it is very quiet when the bedroom door is closed. The toilet paper is unbleached pure wood pulp natural paper, I like it very much!

The service was great and the workers was really nice and always available.. location was great had everything close by and 30mins away from Marseille.. The restaurant was nice and food on point.. We will be back! Luxury from start to finish! The hotel, location and FOOD was divine! We loved our stay here and will be back. We would have liked a little bench or stool to put our clothes on in the room and a steamer, but everything else was perfect.

We loved our stay at Le Pigonnet. The property is over 100 year old mansion! There were different parts of the hotel that you can stay at each having their own pool. The gardens were out of a story book. It was pure serenity! However our room had some plumbing issues and the view not that great. They accommodated and handled the situation with such grace. We absolutely will come back to stay there...

The hotel is very clean and looks very nice. Breakfast is nice and varied. The rooms are comfortable and the staff friendly. We stayed for a night in transit from the airport which is very close as well as the Aix TGV train station.

Stayed for one night. The room was clean and tidy and modern in decor. There was people above us that started getting louder in the night due to them drinking on the balcony but other than that it was comfortable. Easy book in and was left to come and go as wanted to. Parking available for free and in a safe area.

Very nice and modern hotel with recently renovated & refurbished spacious rooms, some with small balconies. If you travel with your pet they provide a bed. The location is good if you are catching the train from the TGV station although it’s true that the neighborhood itself is pretty industrial, although there are some restaurants and bakeries around. The main negative is that the noise from the highway...

The hotel is located in a,slightly industrial area, however do not let this put you off as there are bars and restaurants around and in the hotel which are really good. The room service was excellent for the duration of my stay and John's service in the hotel bar was 10/10. He was really knowledgeable and friendly and his drinks were really good. The Hoyel Le Nelson itself is a very nice, modern hotel and the room is very comfortable. The shower facilities are good but the bathroom door design is strange. The sliding door does not completely close, instead leaving a gap that results in magnification of any sounds emerging from the bathroom. I was excited to stay at Aquabella for my first trip to Provence, expecting a charming boutique hotel surrounded by nature. Instead, it’s located in the old town, which felt a bit run-down. The staff were lovely and very helpful, but the hotel itself was disappointing—the room was small, dated, and had a moldy smell. Breakfast was included, but we chose to eat out as it wasn’t very inviting. Great...

We stayed in the suite. It was clean. The room was very clean, the bathroom looked like a spa and the customer service was very accommodating. The pool was relaxing with a bar. The evening bartender knew our drink of choice on day 2. Highly recommend this place.

The location of the hotel is good, very close to town and away from all the noise. Rooms were OK, relatively modern and quite spacious. Service however can be improved, staff were not particularly friendly nor helpful, they would just "do their job" so no personal touches. All in all, an OK hotel but quite forgettable.

We had such an amazing time at Aquabella in Aix-en-Provence! Relaxing, luxurious, calm, beautiful... very tasty breakfast and lunch and dinner as well - you basically don't have to leave if you don't want to :D The spa is also amazing, and the cocktail bar next to the fantastic pool serve delicious drinks, frankly I wish I was still there!

Stayed at this property for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The staff was very courteous and helpful and polite. The rooms were spacious and well-lit. Breakfast options were also good. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Found the stay peaceful and relaxing.

Clean, cheap and available when everything else is closed. No water in the gym. The food was so so and the breakfast with little options. Pool was great but the noise and the super hot floor plates made it uncomfortable.

The location is around AIX, and it takes 40 minutes to walk to the center. The room is large and clean. The breakfast is simple, with bread, milk and some basic food.

If you are looking for good equipment, charming buildings and more service, this is not the hotel for you. Well placed hotel for visiting Aix en Provence. A well equipped room, good size bathroom and very comfortable bed. The continental breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The hotel also provides free secure parking, a real bonus in this area. All staff were helpful and friendly at all times

Very nice surprise, quiet location, small accommodation with kitchenette, large cupboard, armchair, table chair. Own. Only problem, non-smoking room, the bathroom ventilation brought back a smell of cigarette smoke throughout the stay....

The Mozart was one of the most pleasant hotels we have stayed in. The room was clean and comfortable possibly a little on the small side but for the cost it was perfect. The staff were very welcoming and helpful even though we arrived a bit early. The breakfast was 5 star and well worth having. I would recommend the Mozart to anyone looking for a good reasonably priced hotel.
