I had the best stay ever ❤The hotel its situated not too far from city centre, only 7 min walking, very clean, modern furnished, huge comfortable beds. I enjoyed breakfast 🥐🥓🧀🥞☕I simply adore the staff, very nice and friendly, ready to help anytime. I highly recomand this hotel 🔝
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the BW Galice. Close enough to the centre of Aix en Provence to walk. Staff very helpful and hotel very clean well taken care of.
The Best Western Le Galice is located about 10-15 minute walk from the center of town but it is a very easy enjoyable walk. It is also located about the same distance from the bus station and we walked with our luggage with no problem. The hotel has a swimming pool which we found very refreshing in the heat of the summer. The hotel does not have the charm of a local French hotel but we found it...

I found this a luxury stay in a quiet and convenient location. Valet parking was a nice touch! The property is beautiful with a retreat-like outdoor pool area complete with loungers, bar, and cabanas. Cafes, stores, and restaurants are all in walking distance.
Really nice and quiet location with larger rooms and plenty of amenities. A bit of a snafu at check-in when the receptionist said ‘if I am giving you your keys, your bags are already in your room.’ They were not and they refused to hand them to us when we went back to the desk to collect; ‘we will bring them to you.’ A weird hill to make a stand from- just give us our bags please. They arrived a few...
A fantastic stay at a great property in the “new” part of town. Clean, spacious rooms, and a terrific pool area. A bit of a walk to the old town so not ideal for those with mobility issues.
Very unimpressive capability when managing guests. I requested an extra bed then extra bedding.
First I was offered an extra rollaway bed for a fee and was asked to see if I wanted one after seeing the room. When I returned and asked for one I was told they were out of beds due to high demand and occupancy. I then asked for extra bedding. I was told it would be sent up and when after an hour...
Lovely experience, the staff was remarkable! The rooms were quite spacious and immaculately clean.
The kids loved the pools (both indoor and outdoor).
• Last month I stayed at this 5 star Marriott hotel for 8 nights as a platinum elite member. Got upgraded to higher floor with panoramic view and balcony. We had a wonderful, memoriable time.
1. Staff were all very helpful, friendly, polite, always had a smiling face. They knew my name.

We didn’t expect that they would have a party from Wednesday to Thursday night. They played loud music until 12:15 am! It would have been good to know ahead of time that we wouldn't be able to rest well. It's more suitable for young party people.
Was traveling with work in a Mercedes sprinter van. Extra long wheel base & high so was happy that there was plenty of secure parking.
The rooms are very good all natural materials used. Comfy bed quite rooms so slept very well. & helps when all you here is nature sounds 👍
Good quiet location, playgrounds for volleyball and basketball, swimming pool, clean rooms, no TV 👍🏻, €55/night.
Great concept and architecture: the accommodations are in the middle of the nature, so that you feel immediately disconnected from every day stress as soon as arrived, and you can relax and rest properly.
Also, there are several spaces nearby created to work there that are very bright, ideal for team building and group activities!
Definitely will keep in mind for a different type of stay with my company...
We fell in love with the setting, the long walks outside of the campus are stunning!
The natural pool, volleyball, patonk!
Our apartment was absolutely incredible! It was a modern concrete pod. Extraordinarily well designed. The bed was the comfiest bed I've ever slept in. The apartment was well stocked with everything you needed.

Very nice hotel located in a quiet neighborhood near the train station The room was clean and comfortable equipped with many amenities. All staffs were courteous and friendly. The breakfast, while was not as fancy as its price suggested, was quite good with many options. It even offered cook-to-order breakfast menu which included several items, even though the food I ordered from the menu didn...
A group of 6 ladies stayed 2 nights and had a delightful time. The location is terrific for walking and seeing the sights, finding restaurants, shopping and exploring. The staff are kind and helpful and the hotel is lovely. The breakfast was delicious and copious. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
While exploring Provence stayed for 2 nights. Friendly guy at the front desk, offered a piece of local candy. Close to the center. Parking was a plus. Room was small and weary, great shower flow. Haven’t used the pool or restaurant. Merci
Pros:
We were upgraded from a classic room which was nice of reception (room 327). Room quiet as faces pool but there is some noise from adjoining rooms. Location on main road so easy car access. Breakfast offerings good except no toaster which is pretty standard in Western hotels. Had some lovely cakes and good range of fruits. Location right near old town so can walk to all restaurants, shops, cafes...
The staff were very helpful and welcoming and the hotel was situated in a good position. We would have preferred a walk in shower but overall the room was small and functional. The pool area was lovely but getting in and out was made difficult with only handrail steps.
Breakfasts were plentiful but coffee not up to standard.
The restaurant for dinner was exceptional
The room was spacious, beds comfortable with dark out curtains. Nice bathtub and separate water closet. Our coffee machine was hinky tho
Great, delicious room service. Recommend the wonderful appetizer that has goat cheese. Arugula, heirloom tomatoes, avocados and black olives

We stayed two nights, in two different rooms, separated by a about a week. Neither room had a functioning air conditioning unit. And it was hot. Like, wet the sheets and try to sleep kind of hot. But, they have a wonderful buffet, the rooms are clean and it's located just off the motorway. So there's that.
You get what you pay. Overall very good, the rooms were clean and comfy (the pillows were very thick, this is something that needs to be solved, specially for places like this where you spend just 1 night stop by). I totally recommend to have dinner in a place called "Chez Gaby" (only 700mts away, 10 minutes walk). They serve a really good pizza and one of the best Calzone I ever had. The breakfast...
Clean and comfortable, great location if you have a car. Nice grass area to lounge in outside. Lots of space for pets or kids. The hotel was modern. The walls are thin though so you can hear the neighbours but overall still a great stay!

The hotel is very centrally located. Friendly hotel personal. I was disappointed by the "Spa Facilities". There is only 1 small Jacuzzi (very crowded), 1 sauna, 1 Hamam. There are laying possibilities but not very clean sofa beds. It is a bit outdated, too many people. They are offering a tea. No swimming pool available during winter. There is an inside pool, but only allowed for sport activities...
The hotel was great, rooms a bit small. We had a great meal in the restaurant. We found the spa very difficult to work out and it was fully booked. I couldn’t get any prices in advance in English
Great hotel with a great outdoor pool and spa. Breakfast was great but didn’t eat dinner at the hotel, location is very central. Basically can’t fault it.
This was our favorite place we stayed during our trip in September 2024! It had a great location close to the old city in Aix, a wonderful full service spa complete with sauna, hammam and cold showers, hot tub and beautiful outdoor pool. I was so glad we stayed here for 3 nights during our honeymoon because it allowed me the chance to use the spa every day and even attend a yoga class too (extra cost...
Ideally placed to wander out of the door and into the old town.
Staff were very accommodating of my very basic French.
David and Chloe terrific hotel ambassadors. All else good but for restaurant and inconsistent wifi.

Wonderful stay in this gorgeous hotel. The rooms are beautiful with high ceilings and a lovely exterior. What is especially note worthy, is the incredible service. Everyone working there always went a step further to make sure our stay was impeccable. And I also have to mention the two adorable cuddly cats, that made the trip even better!
While we weren’t totally thrilled with our room itself (which we didn’t realize until a couple days into our stay was actually designed to be a handicapped room), mainly because of some house keeping issues, overall the hotel was great because of the service. Laurent, Romane, Angelo, Benjamin, and Melanie went above and beyond for us and made our stay very relaxed and comfortable. The shuttle into...
Beautiful property with excellent well appointed rooms in a lovely setting outside of Aix en Provence. A quiet and secluded hotel resort which is off the beaten track.
Check-in was simple and quick - no hassle. But unfortunately the AC in the villa kept resetting and/or kept shutting down. The technician seems unable to fix it.

We were here for 3 weeks and the staff were just fantastic. Amenities were great and the hotel in general really well located. Make sure you get into Aix-en-Provence as it is a quaint little student town. Some fantastic restaurants here too!
Really nice place to be. People are nice and it is easy to find your way in this city. The little streets of the city are really cute. You can find a lot of amazing shops.
Very well maintained premises. But room bathrooms need improvement. Restaurant was very good with tasty food also they offer lot of food options for breakfast. It would be good if attending person at reception could speak good English. They couldn’t understand well the conversation and swiped the card with wrong currency option and even not ready to accept the fault.

Nice and cosy hotel with lovely staff. There's also a big terrace to relax on the shade on a warm summer afternoon..
Yes, it is next door to the railway station. Not it is not a typical "station hotel" for casual overnight travellers. We were weary, driving through France and decided to visit Aix. After negotiating the traffic we found a carpark by the station, and walked around the corner to Cezanne. Do you want a Superior room or a Junior? This place was simply stunning. Amazing pool, beautiful room. The staff upgraded us as it was my birthday. The terrace in the apartment was out of this world. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Beautiful city and local area. 5/5
Villa Saint Ange was one of the better hotels we stayed at on our Honeymoon trip this summer. In most ways, it was a perfect hotel, but it missed the mark in a couple small ways.
The good: I believe this is the most beautiful hotel we've stayed at in France (and we've stayed at quite a few). The attention to detail in the rooms was unparalleled. You truly feel as though you're staying in an old, regal...
One of the best restaurant in town. In just a couple of years Villa Saint Ange has positioned itself at the top of the best places to eat in Aix. We tried the restaurant but did not stay on the hotel. First of all, the setting is splendid . I spend a lot of time looking at reviews and researching hotels. On our 3 week trip through France this hotel was our biggest disappointment. Partially under construction with no advance notice of it. There is really no indoor bar to grab a drink with friends and family....maybe this is coming. Rooms were decent but I do wish I had selected a different property.
The hotel is a 20-minute walk (1.2 km) from Cours Mirabau Street. The hotel renovation project is nearing completion. Everything is clean and renovated. The garden is very pleasant in good weather; romantic in rainy weather. We are satisfied with our stay. I recommend you to try the French omelette for breakfast.
The outdoor part of the property is still very beautiful and peaceful, having not visited for many years. The rooms are clean and nice but could definitely use at least some nice art. They are very simple.
The smaller room (51) stayed in for the first 4 nights was not luxury. The larger room (30) was roomy and modern but, very simple.
Sophie at the main pool is incredibly helpful, kind and professional...
Beautiful hotel with magnificent gardens, multiple pools and a fantastic restaurant. Only downside is it’s under construction right now so it’s not at its full potential currently. We were informed by 2025 it would be done. Regardless, I’d happily stay there again.
This is the most beautiful hotel, with gardens reminiscent of La Mamounia in Marrakesh, but more beautiful, I think.
We stayed in one of the villas, and it was just perfect, from the large salt water pool that we had virtually to ourselves, to the super comfortable and huge beds, brilliant showers, and private terraces to have a drink on in the evening.
The staff were all lovely - those at lunch...
The best things about this hotel is the beautiful gardens and the helpful staff. The hotel is under renovation, so there was quite a bit of construction and unfinished areas. Tiny room with the worlds smallest TV. But the room had a balcony, witch is why it get three stars.
Only 5 minutes to walk to town.
Decent for the price. The room was dated and some of the furniture was wonky. For the price it’s acceptable. It’s about a 15min to the old town.
We like to stay there . It was near by city center , few walks away railway station and frequently trains to Marseille for 19euro round trip. Parking 🅿️ in the hotel with big lots . Supermarket just 5 min away opened 7 days weeks . Nice swimming pool. So you will enjoy your stay !
A nice hotel located very near to the Aix en Provence train station. If you plan to travel around France using train, you can save transport cost by staying here. The room is nice and clean. The staffs are nice. It is 10-15 mins walk to city centre. I just hope they could have a centralized light control in the room
Good in general, rooms are a bit badly designed for offering a compact kitchen, great location. The only issue I would say is that we needed a cab to the station and the person at the reception kept trying to explain that it was too close, we already knew that, but we wanted anyways since it was in a hill, he kept insisting on explaining what we already knew! We got an uber instead.
Clean + organized with good Covid 19 processes in place. Great central location (once figured out the Aix en Pvce one way road system!) Friendly + helpful staff.

B&B is a hotel run by young, willing young people who are hard at work maintaining the place. Unfortunately, they understand few other languages than French, but that is not the real problem. I had to ask several times during my stay that my room be cleaned, but only on the fourth day was it cleaned. Sorry for the negative review, but the place deserves a bit more care and cleanliness.
Excellent value for money. In particular the young man on reception could not have been more helpful. I'm really struggling the understand why this only has 1 Michelin star... For me, it was right on par with certain of my favorite 3 star restaurants. It is quite amazing how they are able to bring such flavor to each dish, each bite. The combinations of ingredients / flavors are so unique and surprising and work so, so well. What a treat! Such an incredible experience, so much more than just a meal
An outstanding culinary experience. The chef has a flair for the extraordinary and the setting is absolutely beautiful. Even in the middle of a heat wave the outdoor setting was relatively comfortable for the evening.
