Not quite worth the price, the quality and service is not on par with 5 stars. Restaurant is disappointing, very rough execution. Rooms are dated. And service is very uneven, a few members are amazing, but some are mechanic and cold

Wonderful stay in this gorgeous hotel. The rooms are beautiful with high ceilings and a lovely exterior. What is especially note worthy, is the incredible service. Everyone working there always went a step further to make sure our stay was impeccable. And I also have to mention the two adorable cuddly cats, that made the trip even better!

My stay at this centrally located hotel in Aix-en-Provence was perfectly fine. The service provided by the staff could not have been any better. An excellent location in Aix to explore the city and easy access to public transport. Breakfast selections were broad and fresh pastries excellent.

The hotel was totally fantastic; it is more like a luxury home than a hotel. Every aspect of the hotel - rooms, restaurant, public areas, gardens, pool - were fabulously maintained. I'm really struggling the understand why this only has 1 Michelin star... For me, it was right on par with certain of my favorite 3 star restaurants. Very average hotel, no privacy in the room. Aircon was inoperative and after asking to fix it nothing happened. You cannot ventilate the room unless you open the door to the public space. Lots of noise in conference room from other rooms, uncomfortable seats.

From the moment we walked in the staff were attentive and helpful. Max ensured we were settled in quickly and advised us on a beach to visit and restaurant to go for dinner. Rooms were clean and quiet.

We stayed here before flying from Marseille airport. Lovely clean rooms. Max was extremely helpful, directing us to several local attractions and catering to all our needs. Thoroughly enjoyable, would recommend!

We visited the second weekend of July and we had a wonderful stay. Really good value for money. Rooms were super clean, and the food at the restaurant was really good. Service was excellent as well.

The room was quaint and well insulated which was great since we have a small baby. We had supper at the restaurant and it was delicious. I'm vegan and they made a very nice three course meal. The breakfast buffet was also very good the next morning with a few vegan options.

I don't usually book a two-star hotel but I was attracted by the photo of the garden, which I assumed was tiny. It's not. I also assumed I'd be a difficult distance outside the old city. I wasn't. AND I got to stay inside my budget! Breakfast is served in the garden -- a basket of bread and croissant, butter and jam and a madeleine and a yogurt and a pot of coffee. No luxury stay, but convenient, nicely decorated rooms and near Aix. Parking convenient if you take the garage next door (parking pasteur, 20$/day) only complaint is the bathrooms need a renovation soon.

Room seemed renovated and was clean. Staff was friendly and location is perfect. We bought diner on the market and ate it in the nice garden of the hotel. Only downside is the lack of parking space but this cannot be expected for the price.

Very special place. Everything is like from the early 80's, very old-fashioned. So, if that's to your taste, great! If you're looking for something modern, this is NOT the place. The owner is kind and keeps a close eye on everything that happens in the place. Clean and OK in that sense. About 20 min walk to central Aix.
