Four-star hotel located in the Corsican mansion in the Old town of Ajaccio, close to the beach. The bright rooms are decorated in an elegant style. Those wishing to explore the local attractions can book tours through the historic city and visit the museums and galleries.

Located in Ajaccio's Old town, 300 metres from the beach, 8 km from Ajaccio airport.
Consists of one 4-storey building.

Beach: public sandy beach, 300 m from the hotel (2-coastline). Between the hotel and the beach road runs. Sun beds, umbrellas - for a fee. The length of the beach - 500 m.

Comfortable and relaxing stay. We found their service to be helpful and welcoming. The breakfast and setting was delightful. Great location along a pedestrian street, with plenty of great restaurant options.

Very disappointed that their valet damaged my car and tried tio hide the damage.

Simple, comfortable hotel in good location. Decor is a bit tired, top ups of coffee and water daily should really be included at this price level, but aren’t.

Would like to warmly recommend Hotel Palazzu Pozzo di Borgo where we had a wonderful stay mid August:
-the location is incredible, right in the heart of the city, near the port, the Citadelle and many restaurants
-the building itself is beautiful and the rooms are very nice and spacious including high ceiling
-the price was reasonable for this high standard
-the team has been so nice and incredible with us - they helped us when our dog was sick and was also super helpful when they shipped back the iPad that we had forgotten at the hotel. They packed it super well and the pick up with DHL was very smooth

Would not choose it again!
We stayed fortunately only two nights, that was okay. Plus: The location is great, the bed was comfortable, cleaning staff and reception friendly. As a hotel it does its purpose. You have a place to sleep. For me negativ: you don’t want to stay longer as necessary in the room / hotel. Not cosy and comfortable at all. The atmosphere is cold and empty. No nice materials or details which makes you feel welcome as guest. For ex: main door is super heavy to open, no one helps, I saw some elderly people also complained about it. The table in our room was in some parts broken, also the closet. Brown walls and black furniture > no decoration to light it up, no cups in the bathroom for toothbrush, no hand soap, no welcome card, no minibar > 1 small water bottle on the table for two people and was not fresh, no refill, the city beach has no natural shadow and the hotel offers 2 parasol for all the guests … you can imagine how often we could go to the beach. No books / magazines to read …

Lovely hotel. Close to the city centre and all main sightseeing. Large and cozy rooms. Helpful staff. And there are 2 very friendly cats living in the hotel. When we are back to the city next time, it will be out first choice where to stay.

The hotel itself is very nice with lovely appointed rooms w/ air conditioning and wonderful bathrooms.
The main issue we experienced was construction going on in the adjoining room, even the adjoining wall to our room. It started around 10:00 a.m. (we were jetlagged) on Friday. Despite the fact that we mentioned the inconvenience around 2:00 p.m., it continued past 7:00 p.m. when we were headed out and the next morning. Also, the floor had a bunch of dogs you could hear quite often. It seemed really uncharacteristic for a hotel of that caliber and the staff seemed confused every time we brought it up to them and didn't do anything to mitigate it.
There wasn't laundry service in the hotel and
parking was additional $40 euros a day so we just found street parking instead.

It was ok. The rooms were a bit coldish and did not feel 100% clean. The breakfast was not so good either. The staff was polite. The location was good but be prepared to pay 100€ per week for near by parking spots if you have a rental car.
