This is a great hotel for the price range. High standard of cleanliness. Good on site secure parking. Good breakfast Polite and professional staff. Practical location 10 - 15 mins drive from Amboise.
Great hotel to stay for a night to visit the chateaux in the area
I had a 3 night stay at Ibis Amboise with my wife for our honeymoon. The positives were that the location is a 5 min drive from the city center, and there were some shops and an amazing Boulanger around for breakfast. Check in was fast, room was clean, and there was a bathtub. The negatives were that the mattress were very thin, not the most comfortable, room space was pretty small, no mini fridge...
Friendly welcome, comfortable stay, lovely buffet breakfast. Plenty of parking and just a short drive to the centre of Amboise. Very welcoming to our dog too.
Decent place to stay in a primarily commercial area.
Well located and comfortable, with a bath too. No lift might be a problem, though staff friendly and I’m sure would help with the luggage. Short distance to Amboise - recommend Leonardo da Vinci’s final home , the chateau Clos Lucé.

Pros: The front staff. Very friendly and helpful. Cons; 1. Our toilet broke 2 out of 3 nights. very inconvenient to say the least. Awful in fact. 2. Nickle and dime you everywhere...12$ to park, 5$ for an additional nespresso(they only give you 2), and the biggest disappointment is they charge you 15$/bottle if you want to drink your own wine in their yard. Terribly cheap and foolish practice...
Where to begin? We loved our stay for it’s charming sunlit residence and for the generosity of their service . Our hosts provided us with an exceptional breakfast each morning and an evening dinner cocktail in their garden , as well as guidance for restaurants . I felt lucky to be staying right here. Merci Merci 🤍❤️💙❣️
Little pleasant boutique hotel Old furniture but modern bathrooms Very clean and meticulous The lady owner is very friendly, and the rest of the staff overly kind The breakfast area is pleasant, overlooking a little garden
A beautiful quaint hotel, in a stunning town. Hotel really suited our needs. Nice spacious room, swimming pool, safe car parking & a few minutes walk from all the town’s amenities. The owners are wonderful, friendly people & made us so welcome. Would thoroughly recommend & will definitely return.
We stayed here in May 2025 for four nights. We reserved a “City Side Comfort” room in this 4-star hotel. It was an impeccable hotel. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and spacious. Our room had a mini refrigerator, Nespresso machine, and a water kettle. The garden was beautiful. Our daily breakfast was excellent. Room very comfortable and great shower. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Could have better choice of breads and jams but buffet was replenished. Have stayed twice and would return.
Not easy to find breakfast poor choice, set up for business men passing through. Really need a fridge in the rooms !
Stayed here as a one night stop over en route to Spain and Portugal. Excellent good value for money hotel. The hotel is not far off the motorway and with sat nav not hard to find. Very friendly reception staff who were happy to help with anything. Decent secure underground parking at 5 euro per night. Room/bathroom were modern, new and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. This is a fabulous little hotel. polite and friendly staff. Its quiet new. The rooms were well presented, clean and of contemporary decor. My only criticism would be finding the entrance to the car park. If the managment could create a map/plan from the Tram stop to the carpark via road and post it on their web site and SM pages it would be a great help to future visitors. Thank you.

Basic hotel. Perfect for an overnight stop. Next to Poivre Rouge for evening meal.
In need if modernisation and would benefit from air conditioning has there was no circulation of air, which inturn made the room extremely hot.
We always stop here for 1 night while driving through France. It is a very comfortable and clean hotel with free parking. Great location and easy to find. Excellent value for money. Would recommend if needing a quick stop over👌
Regardless of what time you arrive, there is an automatic check-in machine just outside. The rooms are adequate for a place for rest your head. The beds are clean but not so much the carpets. The bathroom is extremely small and reminded me of a boat where everything is cramped into one space.

Access to hotel was very fast but not using the check-in online. We used the automatic machine in the entrance to get room number, pay the bill, etc.., and it worked perfectly.
We had a disabled room, very shabby, shower wet room flooded due to blocked drain. Staff very good and extremly helpful.
Excellent room, modern decor, comfortable bed and excellent shower. Although they are near busy roads the rooms seem to be sound proof as didn't hear any noise. Externally the grounds have been landscaped so it's a nice little walk for the dogs. The rooms do get extremely warm but you can open the window (but get the noise of the traffic) or there is air con. I believe these hotels are rated as 2*...

The staff are doing a reasonable job of working with a tired building that would benefit from updating & modernisation. We were travelling back to the UK & the location is conveniently close to main autoroutes & whilst set in a retail park was quiet. The restaurant does not open on Sunday, the day of our arrival, but there are 4 or 5 restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Breakfast is adequate without...
A good price quality ratio, the hotel is quite new, wooden floor in the rooms, friendly service, breakfast is good, next to tramway and bus lines,
Convenient location for our last leg of road trip. Location itself was within an industrial estate ( with Many restaurants and hotels close by) Interior clean and modern. Outside a little dated Restaurant states it is open mon-fri, but was closed on our arrival on a Friday Rooms are clean, but a little small. Bit outdated small hotel along the highway, but perfectly clean and with excellent service. We booked short before and arrived after midnight. Although we were kindly given the codes for the gate and the door, the lady had waited for us to arrive. Very kind.
Can't say much about it, since we stayed just for the night. But would select it again on my next trip

People at reception were delightful, helpful and charming. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good quality and a nice place to begin your day in.
Lovely boutique hotel. Extremely helpful staff makes this a winner. They gave us great directions and gave us milk for our infant. Great breakfast. Room was a bit hot was the only thing that could have been better.
We stayed two nights in this hotel. It is modest, but it was a great experience! There is a lovely little patio at the back of the hotel in a garden setting. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful; they care about their guests.
With general cleanliness, sufficient variety of breakfast and quite friendly reception, it was so suitable for our needs, travelling with kid. We see more families staying here like us. Not directly in heart of Tours, but we purposely prefer taking this walk! Car parking in this area around the hotel is free. In our opinion, the hotel is 3stars.
A lovely hotel within walking distance of the buzzing centre of Tours. Very friendly staff and amazing breakfast. The hotel and rooms are very chic. We had a large family room which was perfect for our needs.
The best hotel iv stayed at in a long time! The service was exceptional, and they made us feel like home. Each room was a unique boutique experience at a very reasonable price. Even though there was no air conditioning I didn't mind. The canteen, breakfast (7 Eur) and garden were very nice too. When I return to Tours I will only stay here. Thank you Hotel Mirabeau!

We stayed whilst having a short break. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the centre. It's adjacent to the railway station but with excellent insulation and double glazing we heard nothing of that. Breakfast was plentiful, but I would like to see decaffeinated coffee available without having to ask each morning. It's available in the room, and on the "Breakfast in your room " option, so...
The hotel parking can be reached after you check in. They need to give you access codes and explain which parking it is (even though the signs are well placed inside the parking). Everything inside feels outdated: the doors, the hallways. The sink in the bathroom is super low, maybe useful for small people but annoying when you're average sized.
As a family we received an interconnected space of three rooms, which were all very clean and comfortable. The hotel has got a small parking free of charge just in front so one needs to be fast enough to get a place, otherwise the paid garage is available. The staff and the hotel manager are very kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent with high quality food and teas.
Good enough. The hotel is old, but our connected rooms were very clean and we had everything we needed. Good sound isolation, slept good, no any noise. One of our room was little bit cold, no heated.
The staff really helped us during our stay. The room were spacious with bathtub and it was clean with good produits.

The hotel has a central location and a small parking lot for 5 cars. The administrators are charismatic and hospitable. The breakfasts are very good. The "big" double rooms are really not big and have differences for the same price: the blue room is larger but its windows look at the street, so since 6 a.m. there is a lot of noise from garbage collectors. The rose room is much smaller, older, needs...
For a B&B it's a great place to stay at! The hotel manager was really kind which made us feel welcome. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast had just about everything we needed, crossaints were delicious! There are limited parking spaces (about 4-5) which you can reserve. Parking on the street or in the garage at the trainstation is otherwise possible.
A lovely, small family-run hotel centrally located with very friendly staff and a great buffet breakfast. Highly recommended.
We came back to this hotel because it is so conveniently and pleasantly situated: a short drive from the Autoroute exit, and a pleasant walk into the city. Tours is a great place for a stop-over - lots to see, plenty of good restaurants and bars - and this hotel is well placed, comfortable and good...
It's in a great location and got really helpful staff. The manager is a delight and charming. The one slight downside is if you have an outside facing room, the noise from the road is quite intense at times and if it's hot you have no option but to open the windows. The decor is dated but that has its own charm as it feels a bit like old worldy France from the 80s to some degree. But the location is...

Location, service and cleanliness are all good. Because it is an old hotel, the facilities are not very good, but it is not inconvenient.
Great hotel, slept well and rested
I enjoyed my room in this hotel very much, sadly my dad had a different experience. Every room in the hotel is different according to staff meaning that for the same price people are getting completely different rooms. In my case my room was so much nicer than my fathers he went down to reception to change rooms. Though I do appreciate the fact that they gave my father a similar room to mine immediately...

Excellent spot to stay in the center of Tours! Owner is super friendly and welcoming. Hotel is right on one of the central streets with small supermarket within 2 min walk and dozens of restaurants.
Stayed one night & it was great. Room was surprisingly spacious with nice bed. Shower was fantastic. Breakfast was available if we wanted. Owner was lovely & allowed us to leave our bags for the morning while we walked around the city. Definitely recommend!
Great family hotel in the middle of the old city. Owner is very nice and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfy.
Pretty much what everyone else said! Fantastic, central location!! We had room 21 which faces the back, so it was completely quiet. Olivier offered to help carry our big bags up the stairs when we checked in and helped us again when checking out. Very basic and very clean.
Olivier was extremely helpful and the room was comfortable. As usual in France and Spain there was no plug for the sink thereby wasting water while shaving in the morning. However, we will probably return another time.

Lovely friendly hotel in Tours centre perfect for our overnight stay. The hotel were very accommodating putting an extra bed in our room. The room is very well decorated with a large en-suite bathroom. Lovely breakfast. Merci beaucoup!
Good location, friendly staff, tiny and somewhat badly insulated rooms with very dated bathrooms. Breakfast could be improved by some local produce.

This was an OK hotel for our two night stay in Tours, close to everything in town and it was very clean and cosy. However, the hotel was quite old so there was no air-con, it's was 34 outside (we were given a fan on the second night which helped) and the bathroom was fairly dated.
